emusmithy: Lols, don't you believe in giving him green lights? Green lights to me means calls, texts and cool conversations(though, i dont encourage doing such too often as if one's life depends on it) if he still can't get a cue that the lady is into him, then I don't think she has to start making passes or advances. Some will just term it as something else and make her feel awkward if not accepted. Besides, I stand with God's word that says "He who FINDS a wife...." so she's meant to be found not the other way round jare |

emusmithy: I like that sincerity of your statement.
Lol @ pity her hustle and help her ministry Lol...thanks. Come to think of it, if all guys keep on waiting for this, everyone will remain single. Ladies like me that can be shy for Africa when it comes to someone I crush on, I'd just lock up if he's forming like he doesn't know or wouldn't want to do the needful. I'll just have fun with other guys and resent him till the yeye crush fades off. lol. |

Splinz: Op, good points. I know when a girl is crushing on me.
But the thing is, if she's waiting for me to take the first step, then she can as well die with her feelings. Chai bros! Cut her some slacks now. You know how it is for a lady walking up to a guy, especially if she's the shy type and also the kind of society we grew up in, she wouldn't want to look common and cheap. If you notice she's into you, pity her hustle and help her ministry by making things easy ooh, ndo. lolzz |

PeachyP: I posted this 'cause I saw it as informative. I've heard about global warming and climate change but I didn't know it causes flooding. As well as seeing such large portions of land being deforested I've taken deforestation more serious. While I read it I didn't feel the need to be defensive about it being human's fault but I saw something that made me more aware of what happens to the planet we live in. It's funny how people's way of thinking is so diverse. *smiles* Our thinking is diverse because we all view things from different perspectives. And yea, global warming causes flooding. How? You remember the "Water cycle" process right? Through global warming (mainly caused by humans of course), water from rivers, lakes, seas and even stagnant water on the road evaporates too quickly thereby sending way too much vapour into the atmosphere which turns to rain.."acidic rain" sometimes. And since the water is too much, it falls as heavy rains causing flooding which causes erosion, destroys farmlands and then drought. You see now. |

[quote author=PeachyP post=50813663]5) United Kingdom Here you can see a coal power plant in the United Kingdom billowing plumes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.[/quote Human activities affect nature and affects humans too. Now, this will cause a big rise in sea level which will cause flooding and famine. Guess humans cause these natural disasters themselves. |

Properties › Re: Where Is The Best Place To Live In Lagos If Working In VI by DebbieSean(f): 8:47pm On Oct 29, 2016 |
vokolo: Guys, I am relocating my family to Lagos and i would like to live in a part of Lagos that wouldn't stress me so much in getting to and fro VI due to work. I am equally considering a budget of not more than 250k a year and i am hoping this can fetch me a 2bedroom apartment.
Your candid advice on which part of Lagos i should base my search on considering transportation stress and my budget would be well appreciated.
Thank you. The cheapest and very cool place a relative got last week in Surulere is #350 per annum. With #250, you can really get nice places really but in the outskirts of Lagos. Just have a budget of #500 minimum for the place you want since you want somewhere close to vi. |
