Food / Re: Civet Coffee Or Kopi Luwak: World's Most Expensive Coffee From Cat's Faeces? by DebbieSean(f): 1:41pm On May 10, 2018
ShyCypher:
Can You Drink The World's Most Expensive Coffee Gotten From A Cat's Faeces?

After about 24 to 36 hours the coffee beans eaten by the palm civet cat are defecated. In most parts of the world excrement from wild animals is considered waste. But in Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines civet cat feces are seen as gold. This is because the coffee beans departed the civet’s digestive tract almost unaffected, some fermentation during the digestion process occurs in the beans. According to scientists, this adds to the special flavor of the coffee made from civet cat beans. Today, these coffee beans are a luxury good and sold all over the globe. It is better known as kopi luwak or civet coffee. Due to its rarity, cat feces coffee is also the world’s most expensive coffee.

Is coffee coming from civet cat feces safe to drink?

Are coffee beans coming from excrement contaminated with bacteria? This is partly true. Scientists have studied the safeness of kopi luwak coffee. They have found beans coming from civet feces are more contaminated than normal coffee beans. However, PROCESSED kopi luwak beans show an even lower level of bacteria contamination than other coffee beans. There is no significant contamination by e-coli or other bacteria. Now, read more about the collecting and final processing of kopi luwak coffee.

Although kopi luwak is a form of processing rather than a variety of coffee, it has been called one of the most expensive coffees in the world, with retail prices reaching €550 / US$700 per kilogram.

Kopi luwak is produced mainly on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Bali and Sulawesi in the Indonesian Archipelago. It is also widely gathered in the forest or produced in the farms in the islands of the Philippines (where the product is called kape motit in the Cordillera region, kapé alamíd in Tagalog areas, and kapé melô or kapé musang in Mindanao island), and in East Timor (where it is called kafé-laku). Weasel coffee is a loose English translation of its Vietnamese name cà phê Chồn, where popular, chemically simulated versions are also produced.

This one of those sad stories of players who were a wonderful youngster in football at some point, who even reached the glory, but today live a quite different life than the world imagined and predicted.

The story of ex-Ghanaian footballer Baba Sule is touching and somewhat being fruitful but loaded with challenges. the World-Cup winner had to conquer niggling injuries which made him hang up his boots in 2006.

In any case, Baba finds it hard to stop football totally and discovered his way to Fuenlabrada, where the club from opened new opportunities for him to wind up as the club’s new kit man, and he couldn’t be more joyful as a man who cherished, adores and will always love football.

In 1995, Baba Sule celebrated his most prominent achievement when he scored past former Brazilian shot-stopper Julio Cesar in the final of the U17 World Cup with the Ghanaian national team, who eventually ended up winning the U17 World Cup final, sparking a memorable moment for Ghanaians to savor.

Baba Sule wanted to make his name in Spanish football and landed at Mallorca only a year later, unfortunately, he contracted hepatitis, which cut his career off. That was his first difficulty he experienced in his footballing career.

Leaving Mallorca for Ourense, where he broke two bones up in his arm. Baba came back to partake in the U20 World Cup, where he scored two more goals, Ghana finished in fourth place in the tournament.

At that point in 1999, Real Madrid took a risk with the promising youngster and secure his services into their youth academy, but he failed to make an appearance for Los Blancos and proceed onward to Leganes. Be that as it may, niggling injury issue kept on plaguing his career.

Baba Sule suffered two hard injuries that forced him to leave professional football.

Baba Sule said in an interview with Spanish newspaper ‘ABC’: “I tore my ligaments in the first game of the season. I then recovered and on my first day back in action, I damaged my knee. It was very hard for me”.

He then went on to become a driver for Manchester United’s current goalkeeper, David de Gea, until he arrived in Spain’s Third Division, Fuenlabrada, where he cleaned boots for players and loaded the balls

“Football is like this, it has two sides, sometimes it’s the good and sometimes the bad, and the injuries have changed my life,” he admitted

Never lay your hands on a woman men would not hear.

Mr man get this - The fact that you paid high school fees does not automatically mean you will graduate from the school if you are found wanting in any 'department' undecided

Coming to social media to run your mouth will only make things worse for you...you are indirectly closing all doors for an amicable settlement.

I absolutely hate it when people run to social media to settle an issue that should ordinarily be a private matter!!! angry
What if he wasn't granted audience? Have you thought about that? Trying to settle such issues privately might not yield positive results as people in charge are more powerful than him. With the help of social media, they'll be awakened and do the needful rather than neglect the poor guy. I'm sure they'll want to protect their school's name too.

AmazingM:
Good evening my dear nairalanders. Please I need your honest opinion on this issue because I am very confused now that I don't know what to do.

I have been dating a guy for about three years now. Every thing has been going well. He claims he loves me but he doesn't spend on me. He knows I am still job hunting that I don't have any means of income of my own but he doesn't care at all. How I feed, cloth, recharge my phone, he doesn't know. He doesn't even ask how I cope with all my basic needs as a woman. He doesn't recharge my phone and when I manage to recharge with the little money I have and call him, he won't even reject or ignore the call and call me back knowing well that I don't work. He will make sure he exhausts the little airtime.

It is not as I he doesn't have the money, he has it. In fact he is very comfortable but he doesn't spend on me. I am a type of lady that doesn't know how to ask for money but I expect him to know that since I am not working yet, he should assist me with some of my needs but if I don't ask, he will do nothing.

I am thinking of leaving him because of this attitude I feel he is taking advantage of my nature. Please help me out. I want to know your take on this issue before I take action.

Thank you.
He's not for you dear. If he loves you, I believe you don't have to ask. And it doesn't even have to be all the time, a little gift once in a while matters a lot to ladies and guys. Do you give too? Surprise him by getting him a nice perfume or something good and not so expensive. But after this and he doesn't even bother, then just know he's a stingy man. Giving is a nature and should be reciprocal in relationships.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why Do Big People Around Me Ask For My Means Of Livelihood? by DebbieSean(f): 9:54am On Oct 12, 2017
Beosten:
I'm not gainfully employed, but if you meet me, you will think I'm earning a fat salary somewhere.

A plan has been on the table for the past 12 months and is expected to take off fully by August 2018. Finance is the only problem, and these people told me that I will cross the financial bridge when I get there. They are very certain of other factors on my part. The problem now is that they stop once in a while to ask, "What are you doing to earn the living at present?" To answer this, I use to tell them that I do the job I was trained for in University, looking for clients daily. We all know that this thing is not lucrative, and as a matter of fact, if a client calls me for a job today, I may not receive another call for a job in the next 2 months.

I have a job I can do to earn money needed for basic necessities, but it is very shameful to hear that a graduate does it. I have to look big if I want to keep earning the respct of these people. It's like a building contractor that borrows money to buy a car because clients will have faith in him and trust him with their money.

Now these people are suspecting that I look good, and that if what I do currently can make me look this good, why hatching a different plan? If I tell them the shameful job I do apart from what I'm trained for, they will think that my plan is primarily based on escaping hunger. And if that thought crosses their mind, the plan on the table can be rendered useless within minutes.

Now how will you advise me concerning this situation in a bid to douse the tension created by their suspicion?
Looking good is good business bro.
Just keep doing what you do and be grateful.
Also, be proud of it. As long as it's not a shady business. Your breakthrough would come soon.
