NIGHTMAREOO7: Nobody flaunts it..people see it and confirm it. Those pple those people saying u look igbo said it for a reason.
Therez also this pretty yoruba gal in my class back then "motunrayo" ppl who dnt kno her always assume shez igbo.
Bcoz they know igbo gals has d reputation of lookin cute. Lol! Beht why naa? Not all Igbo ladies look cute, I know plenty that are just average looking and lots that are fair, so fair you don't know of they're fine or not cos we all see fairness as beauty, so just say they have the reputation of having more fair skinned girls. Just know that everyone is beautiful in their own way. |

Qummie: We definitely are. Only the Fulanis come close in terms of beauty. I guess why people express shock is because we aren't loud-mouthed. Unlike some who try to force everyone to agree that they're pretty.
More.... Exactly! We are not really loud about it, we're just cool people. |

NIGHTMAREOO7: Yes many pple cant be wrong same time. They tell u that bcoz those places they mentioned hv higher rate of cute gals. There are pretty and ugly gals everywhere. But the truth is some ppl hv more pretty gals than others.
In nigeria igbo tribe and fulani has higher rate of cute gals.. im sure u even know this. If yoruba hav 40% igbos should have 70% Same as fulanis. Or 75 thereabt Seriously? Naa! You You haven't met really pretty Yoruba people. I'm talking of raw, naturals even in the rural places. Talking about having more pretty girls than others, Yorubas are blessed. I've got siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews that are just too cute. What about other families? We just don't flaunt it. |

Omo Yoruba ni mi ooo! Swagger! Proudly Yoruba Jere! Nice one Op. Funny how people see us as the ugliest people in Nigeria. All my life, people meet me and say nonsense like "why fine girl like you be Yoruba?", You! Yoruba? "Nawa oo, so them get fine people there self?" "You look igbo, calabar or Akwa ibom, South African blah blah". I get so tired of hearing those comments all the time. Sometimes, I just smile and tell them we're like one of the cutest tribes and I give others a stern look and silence.
Op! Oshey pupo pupo! Wa dagba, wa darugbo. |

anochuko01: I'm sure students pay about 25K for tuition alone....coz the students' suit alone costs 10K, and most of them are wearing it already....so its definitely not a small school. As much as I like teaching, its not something I wanna do as a profession. I'ld love to be in the field. Eiya, I understand. Just be do it till you get something better. You only Just need to know how much these school owners gain from students, and then compare it to what the main ''actors'' the teachers collect. Hmmm...it depends on the kind of environment and the students in your school. if their pay is on the high side, your salary will be high too but if it's the middle class that have children there, you should be thankful to get that oo, and in this recession too? Bro, just don't work hard alone but smartly too, you can learn well in the profession and who knows? You could start a tutorial centre like the guy who the guy who earns 90-110k monthly in his tutorial business. |

JuanDeDios: Go with the lazy guy. Lazy guys rock. Besides, it's not easy to find half-Oyinbos these days. Since he's comfortable placing his hands between his legs while a woman picks his bills, I think he will transform into a hardworking person once he sets foot in America. He won't find another mugu girl there. He will send for you and you two will get married. You will hold hands and walk off into the sunset, into Happily-Ever-After where he will take good care of you.
Like they say, in every decision there are two choices: What is, and what you want; that is, what is good for you and what your emotions crave. Your sense of humour is unrivalled. I doff my hat. lolzzz. |

marvelck: Imagine after turning you down, she's still unmarried and waiting for 'Mr.Right' while you are now happily married to much finer and better girl. Girls really need to stop creating unnecessary standards or barriers for themselves and do the right thing. And to guys, whenever a girl reject you, its not the end of the world. She's only making it possible for you to meet and be with a better person. Every disappointment is a blessing! I'm not a feminist but why is it always an issue when a lady wants to make a choice? Guys have different traits and qualities they want in women but a woman isn't allowed to do that? Let's just learn to respect other people's choices and and stop seeing them as losers because they don't have what we have. |
