Omodollyp: Thank you so much. I mean my husband's account. We will go ahead to open a joint account. You don’t need to open a joint account. Let the money be in your husband’s account and he gives you a letter of consent saying you have full access to the funds. |

febiola: Good evening guys.. I need help with my express entry profile, after passing the eligibility test and also getting the PRC ,I then proceed to creating my profile after some minutes I get a notification that my profile is ineligible. I have been at this for a while now. I was in the pool before then my profile expired, so creating a new one has been very frustrating. I was able to create one after several attempts, showed my score and all, only to later get a mail that my profile is ineligible. Below is a breakdown of my inputs: Test of English: speaking 7, Listening 8.5, Reading 8.5, writing 7.5 Age:36 Wes: masters POF: I just put 40,000 CAD for family of 5 Work experience: Noc 1221 2018 January till date Noc 6235 2011 till 2018 but with different organizations Sibling: Yes My husband Noc is 0122 Test of English: speaking 7, Reading 5.5, Listening 5.5, Writing 6.5, I noticed that there is not score for me on the profile created none whatsoever Please I need advice on what to do. I have also used different browsers, but I’m getting the same message. I also noticed that with the crs calculator my score is 451, but on the EE profile my score was 426 Thank you. Primary NOC Has to be at least one year work experience. Which is your primary NOC 1221 or 6235? |

nekkyblues: Hello guys, I need some clarification concerning POF.
For 1 person, it’s about 12,960 CAD. I have an uncle that wants to pay the money into my account but in US dollars (had to open a domiciliary account for that purpose).
It’s equivalent is about 10,000 USD, told him to pay it in bits, he has paid 3k dollars twice and it’s remaining about 4k. Want him to pay the rest by next month.
My question is hope it won’t look suspicious that I have such amount entering my account, when I request for my statement of account, it will only show that money was paid in 3 times.
Hope this will not be an issue?
Your feedback will be much appreciated. It’s obviously a gift and you would have to do a gift deed. |

Ganzallo: Hello everyone, Great job on the write ups and tips it has been really enlightening.
I have 2 questions please,
1. I received my ITA yesterday but didn't include my wife and son as that would have dropped my score and the money to move once no be here, but I added them to my application as not accompanying, now I'm being asked why, is it safe to say lack of funds or a more diplomatic excuse? Pls anyone with experience should help as I'm in uncharted waters.
2.Can a brother in law stand as a relative when the wife is included in the application but not accompanying.
Thanks once again. According to your first question, sounds like you entered the pool as a Single person cos adding your wife and kid (accompanying or not) would have dropped your score? And now you want to add them to your application as not accompanying? If that’s what you did, it’s clear misrepresentation and you will have to decline the ITA. Whether your wife and kid are accompanying or not, they should be mentioned in your EE profile and your POF should be for 3. If what I described sounds like what you did, decline the ITA or risk a ban. |

Zeus04: Guys,
This is for peeps with AOR at least 6 months ago and files in Accra, I just understand that AVO has started calling people on their applications and possibly issue PPR. 3 of my friends got phone calls today to ask them if they can travel before December 31st and when they responded yes, the office from AVO told them they will get feedback from AVO today on their PPR. Some others on an AVO whatsapp group confirmed that they got calls too. Not sure what the criteria is to receive the call but one of them said it may be because of medical expiration.
The 3rd person missed 2 calls from the same number and when he tried to called back, he couldn't reach them.
I am dropping this here for us all to be close to our phones this period and also check mails regularly as well.
It will end in praise. They are people who already got PPR before the lockdown. Most (if not all) of them already had their passports stuck either at VFS or AVO itself. People waiting for PPR are not part of those they are calling. |

If you want to avoid stress, use IQAS to evaluate LLB as a Master’s degree. If you want your file to be bounced around, rejected and probably or not resolved, use WES and claim Master’s degree equivalency. |

Thecannylady: Hello everyone. My brother and his fiancee are planning to begin this process. They intend to get married before entering the pool and the lady is the principal applicant. She wants to start her evaluation process and also write IELTS in about a month's time. However, she doesn't have an international passport. The question is, can she go ahead and apply for a passport in her maiden name(they aren't married yet but would be married before they enter the pool)this means her evaluation would be done in her maiden name, her IELTS in her maiden name and they will be getting married in November/December and apply as married. Is it okay to do this without complicating their application?
Or is it better to get married first and get her passport in her married name, then proceed to do her evaluation and IELTS? ELDERS PLEASE HELP Yes, getting passport, evaluation and IELTS in her maiden name isn’t a problem. The main question here is, what’s her CRS if she applies as a married person? Is it above current trends? |

I have a friend who is a lecturer in a federal university. He has a master's degree in Chinese language and lectures Chinese language.
Please do you think he qualifies for the NOC 4011 which is for lecturers. This is because the details of this NOC seem to specify some subject of lecturing. The only language lecturer specified is French lecturer.
Please experienced people in the house please help me understand NOC 4011 as it concerns a Chinese language lecturer.
Thanks house. Yes. 4011 is for lecturers. Let him evaluate his Masters degree and take it from there |

djkmz: Hi guys,
Does it make sense to update one's profile with a qualification that is still being evaluated and result not out yet? If no, what are the pitfalls? That means you would need to input a fake report number and you definitely can’t accept ITA with a fake evaluation number. So, just be patient. |

francophone134: Hello gurus and all, I greet the house. I am really not happy now guys, when I used the crs calculator on cic website my crs score appeared at 480, however I used 3years experience. Nysc, IT after my national diploma and post Nysc. However someone told me I cant use It experience to claim work experience. So when I recalculated, my score dropped to 468 which is very low. Guys is it really true I can't use post National diploma experience to claim work experience. Thanks for your response. I appreciate you all If you were not paid during your IT, you can’t use it to claim work experience. Claimed work experience has to be paid employment |

I was once denied study visa in 2017.. so I guess that’s the details for the study visa. To my question, should I still book appointment with VAC ?. Yes. You have to book another biometrics appointment. The one you did for your study visa is not eligible for your PR application. |

Jay35: Please house, I have a quick question.. Will The passport photograph(50 x 70mm that you are required to submit while filling forms post ITA), be used as the photograph that will be on your Visa if granted? Or is it the passport photograph taken of you during Biometrics. The one you submit online for your application, it’s the hard copy you will submit for PPR. They will also use the same passport on your PR card after landing. |

chanceux: Good evening guys. The system updated my profile to 3 years work experience on the 1st of september but in reality it should be by beginning of Dec. As a result, I got an ITA few days ago. Is it okay if I should go ahead and submit my application? Sadly, you would have to decline the invitation. Would have suggested waiting till Dec when your work experience clicks 3 yrs but that would elapse past the 90 days deadline. Goodluck thi. |

Rapture07: God has given me a 2nd chance to do the right thing, as we were issued a second ITA yesterday. I once came to this platform to seek for advice on if I should appeal my application which was cancelled as incomplete due to my wife's Austria police clearance certificate which she got in Austria while she was still in Austria, as a result the application was rejected since we decided to apply when she returned to Nigeria, thereby making the application invalid. Thank God we already got a new Austria pcc from the embassy here in Nigeria. But pls guys I have two questions as I wouldn't wanna make any silly mistake again. 1. Can we use same medicals done in previous application for this new one.
2. Due to the first application being rejected as incomplete, we were suppose to get a refund, but we are yet to get it. So is it possible to write them and ask that the last fee which is yet to be refunded be used for this new application? 1. I don’t think you would be able to use the medicals since it’s a different EE profile number from the old application 2. Remind them about your refund but they won’t use the last fee to offset the new one, cos they are two different applications. |

oko134: Good Morning everybody.
Special thanks to everybody that has contributed towards the building of this thread. It is heavy and lengthy but worth reading all the time.
I am fortunate to be one of those who got ITA on August 05.
I have succeeded in filling out the forms for Permanent Residence. I already have a document checklist and I have tried to gather all the documents needed.
However, so many things are confusing based on the cic site configuration and it's clear that previous experience will help, hence, I decided to run to the lords here for counsel.
1. For PoF:
I have a Zenith Bank Reference Letter (they did not include the opening balance or the balance as at the day the letter was done), in addition, I got my statement of account (8 pages) for a six month period, I also got a letter of Non-Indebtedness.
I got some money from my mom. To this effect, I have a notarised Deed of Gift, A bank Transfer Teller from my mom and electronic evidence from the bank to the effect of the transfer.
On the cic website, you can upload only once for each document type (like PoF)
My question is, should I merge all the documents into a single pdf and upload it once or I should upload only the Bank Reference and add others under the optional documents section.
2. Work Reference Letters
I got all my Work Reference Letters in January before Covid-19 Lockdown (I had an ITA in January which I declined for some reasons).
The dates on the Work references are far, hope it doesn't matter.
I was paid cash for two out of the three employments. Must I provide pay stubs? I really don't have them.
Thanks to everyone that will take out time to reply me. My application is on hold until i get answers here.
Thank you all. For your POF, merge all documents together into a single pdf file and upload once (less than 4MB) For your reference letters, January is okay and don’t provide pay stubs unless you are asked to through ADR later. As long as your reference letters has all the requirements, don’t add paystubs. Let your application be simple. Too many info will create questions and lengthen the processing timeline. Goodluck |

Da123: Hello all,
I want to drop this here if it helps anybody at all.
I did my panel interview on the 25/02. I had my top management interview on the 02/03 and like everybody, I was patiently waiting to get an email, albeit, a successful one at that.
Fast forward, I got a mail for medical and final assessment on Frid 10/03. I am to sign my final assessment tomorrow and medical grace was given till Frid 17/03.
With the email was an attached CV format to edit your CV to suit the format they prefer.
On the case on WAEC and NECO, I have asked a friend who just completed his final exam at the Banking School yesterday, he stated categorically that NECO is accepted provided you have a valid ID that bears your age.
He however could not recollect exactly what the 'signing of assessment' was all about...I will appreciate if there's any valid info on that PLS. I want to know what to expect tomorrow.
The above info is to the best of my knowledge. Kindly be wise to use your discretion where appropiate.
Regards The Final Assessment is to get 10 people to open new accounts (savings/current) with a minimum balance of N200,000 each totalling N2m or 1 person to open an account with a fixed deposit of N5m for a period of 180 days....all these to be done within 10 working days. It's a "voluntary" exercise which you will sign for. However, if you can't meet the requirements, you'll be cut from starting the training school (obviously). |
