Dear M

You taught me what it means not to be alone, and i loved you very much.

you were always there when I needed you, you loved me the way no one ever had. you wanted us to get married but on condidtion i changed my religion. apparently i was not good enough to be a mother to your children the way i was. we had already been together 4 years and i had to face up to the fact that it wont work, because you wanted more than i could give.

That is all water under the bridge, you once asked me if i thought any man would ever love me or be as good to me as you were. my answer today as then still remains, even if not at least i will be true to myself and my faith. somedays i miss you so much i cry but i knew i could not be happy being what you wanted me to be. you now have a lovely family and i'm happy for you, but please do me a favor, stop coming round. its over and we cant change the past.
i wish you a good life and a rainbow at the end of every path you walk.
I will always pray for you.

So as they were sitting down waiting for the game to start Akin ask her a question----How do you feel about 1st time offenders? But she gave him a look that made him feel as if this was a mistake. Well, she said 1st time offender, I can't answer that because I have never met one. I guess everyone has a past that they wish they could change.

So why do you ask? Ever been to jail (she starts to LOL). But the look on his face was not a joke. F--K, she thought to herself, here I go again!!!! Don't judge-Don't judge (she starts to tell herself).

F--K, he thought to himself, here we go again!!! They both turn to speak, but the music in the arena has started and they both just sit back,
What if he's the axe murderer? Perhaps a rap*st, or even a drug baron? She pondered, her thoughts drowning the opening song of " Greece 2".
By this time, Akin had noticed her discomfort and felt it was best to let her know all. I spent 6 years in jail for hacking into the federal system 10 years ago while studying in Howard Uni, never has the confession of an ex-con brought so much relief to her, with a wry smile on her face she replied was that all, you naughty boy. Well at least it want for r*pe or murder she added jokingly,

Some are against it because
1) a true bF should not be dating a thug (see point 3)
2) A true BF should not be dating a mannerless girl (see Point 1)
3) Why on earth wud a true Bf be dating a curser? (See point 4)
4)A true Bf dating a thief, haaaaaaa (see point 13)
I hope with these few points of mine, i have been able to convince you ,
Really, well I'll have to disprove that notion over dinner sonmetime cos i can't have you label me unromantic ooooo.

RomanceRe: Can You Marry Someone That Is Older Than You by debest1(m): 3:45pm On Aug 04, 2009
whitelexi:
I like the way u ended your above post - very nice. The thing is that everything u've talked about will work if its a babe from any other part of the world, naija babes are different. . . Just as they attach sooooooo much to respect coming with age - [ask a grown naija woman for her age, and on the average you'll get an answer that is in turn a question of its own - u dont get that when u ask a foreigner no matter their age.], they will also only respect u if they know u are well older than they are. . . I guess proper love and proper respect creeps into the picture later when u start providing for her but the disrespect from the initial stages alone can crash the entire relationship if care is not taken. grin
I have to agree with you m8, this would be a non-issue in europe or america, but in naija haaaaa; i dont think so. I have a friend who's been married to a woman 6yrs older than him for the past 11yrs and they are still going strong. The reason, well he's a pastor and she's a strong christian. Apart from the grace of God that would make an older woman submit to her younger husband, I can't see it happen in naija. The slightest argument and the woman go sey he no get respect

Aki78:
Hi all,

I am new here and would like to get to know people, especially those in Nigeria as it is a plan of mine to move back to Naija very soon.

I am female originally from Cross River and any tips and help on how to secure a job with some respectable organizations in Nigeria would be of immense help to me. I have a BA in Peace, Conflict and Human Rights studies and an MA in International Relations.

If you know of anything or know anyone who would be of help to me, please do not hesistate to hit my inbox and oh, scammers be warned, I won't call or send my degrees to you. I might have been out of naija for long but I still think like one!

Thanks for the impending help
xx
With a degree like that, your possibilities are endless. Try corporate depts of banks, international companies like shell, mobil etc or firms with foriegn interractions
