MRbrownJAY: ^^ a French person that doesn't want to speak to you in English has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with racism! Get your facts right. Abi o, ever tried speaking in english to any french person outside of paris? they just deliberately bone u, klear: @debest1, it is worst! It n UK dat I knew d bifference between been a British & been a white man talk abt racism! is that so? you obviously didnt grow up in nigeria then, where some people are keen to draw a distinction between a nigerian and hausa naijangel7: I don't even want to get into an argument on that. But the Germans are still quite embarrassed about their history of racism and go the extra mile to be friendly. The French, the Dutch and the British are much more racist than Germans. I was in Germany during their last elections, and while many of them didn't necessarily like the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, they went and voted for her party just because their policies are more immigration-friendly and they wanted to keep the parties with racist-like ideologies out. My British friends will be the first to tell you that their people are more racist than Germans. I have travelled around Germany with British friends. My boyfriend is English. Anyway, i think this is an interesting read about interracial couples in history. Really found the couples inspiring
http://listverse.com/2011/01/25/10-fascinating-interracial-marriages-in-history/ everytime a naija man breaks the law he and is caught he screams racism, his boss reprimands him for coming late to work or for having 6 mobile phhones on his desk he screams racism, While i cannot speak for the whole of UK, i can tell u that in the time i have lived here i have experienced no more discrimination than i've seen in nigeria |

palma: Well me i wont say much but here is a simple prayer for GEJ supporters and non GEJ supporters.
Anybody who is willing to vote in PDP via GEJ may their lives be run the way PDP has run Nigeria for the past 12years.
N.B This is not a curse oh but simply a prayer to strengthen your resolve in PDP since you believe in their choice.Did i hear anyone say amen? A few days yet before the election and the bullying has gone up another notch! This one is practically cursing people for exercising their fundamental human right to elect their preferred candidate, na wa, real wa i didnt know it has come to this, |

^^^is this an exam? It's a debate for goodness sake, asking for subject areas is part and parcel of modern politics, It gives the respondents the opportunity to prepare well ahead. Which would you rather have, a scenario where they waffle without facts or one in which they have adequately prepared and are able to offer articulated, factual responses? |

"The PDP demanded that the advance copy of questions be made available to candidates. It also requested an outright stoppage of the studio audience from posing questions to the candidates." Let's assume the allegation is true, PDP wanted the questions to be made available to CANDIDATE(S), plural meaning not just him but all the participants; so how is that expo if all of them had advance knowledge of the questions? |

GEJ can put structures in place, the determined cheats will always find ways to beat the system, so laying the blame solely at the feet of GEJ is a bit mischievous , i guess Buhari would equally blame Jonathan if CPC supporters were to rig the election in his favour? |

Politics › Re: Do Non - Northerners Support Buhari? by debest1(m): 8:58am On Mar 29, 2011 |
muami: Quote from Niklee Did you just fall from the moon? How can a right thinking person say that majority of buhari supporters are doing it out of patriotism while GEJ supporters are tribalist and ethnic bigots. Well, someone said it that most BB supporters do not understand issues and that all they want is somebody who would tell them what they want to hear. Obviusly, that is true. Who has most followers among his tribe and religion even if they dont even know what his plans are? Whi has no or very littel support outside his tribe or religion? Who is discussing with contestants from his tribe to form a consensus so that power can be with them? Certainly not GEJ. In case you dont know, most northerners who support buhari do so because they see him as as a revivalist who can would enforce thier religion on the whole country. I know because I asked. I suggest you take a sample of opinion from the almajiris who gather at buhari's campaign and you would hear it for yourself. And for you information most of us who support GEJ do so because we have an idea about the complexities of governance in the 21st century and we beileve buhari is too outdated and uneducated to understand it. Interesting riposte, |
