I love phones...and latest and reigning brands for that matter. I already own the Samsung galaxy range of s3 and note 2. Wanna acquire the s4 brand now. Please tell me more about this phone out of ur experience of it before I buy it to gauge my decision. Thanks |
Pls what is the unlimited plan on the Android for Airtel |
Funny! What help do u render to a man bleeding profusely and whose blood has lost its clotting factors! We definitely gave an anti-venom but at that instance it was useless becos even if u transfused him then he would have continued loosing the blood as much as u did the transfusion. There is a limit beyond which an antivenom becomes useless and that was the case with the patient |
Expecting mine |
I don't fare even a lion as much as I dread snakes. I am an hospital worker and I know how many people have fallen to snake attacks. They are ferocious! The most recent happened some three weeks ago when a senior lecturer in a college of education drove to his farm and oblivious of the presence of a venomous snake on a branch of a tree climbed the tree and in a split second the deadly creature gave him some defensive bites and quite unfortunately on his back! He climbed down immediately and picked his car driving and racing back to town but after a few minutes he lost control of the car and was picked up by some good samaritans who rushed him to our hospital. I was part of the team that attended to him. He was bleeding profusely from the back and we did all we could to stop the bleeding all to no avail. What the venom primarily does is to attack the clotting elements in the blood so that nobody or medication can arrest the bleeding. We lost the man almost 20 minutes later. For the so-called anti-venom, they are snake-specific which means the antivenom for cobra is different from the one for black mamba for instance. Now tell me:is it the person bitten by a snake that will seek to know the species of the snake? Pls snakes are very deadly. Scorpion's stinge is more painful and deadly than snake bite but much more easy to treat. U need less than 200 naira to completely subdue a scorpion stinge while a dose of snake antivenom can cost about 4k! |
I doubt that claim very strongly. MTN hasn't even finished blocking all the magic sims yet someone is claiming to have gotten a leeway! Guys shine ur eyes. Some people will surely reap again from the resultant disappointment emanating from the sim blockage. Again shine ur eyes and wise up |
Yes....? How do we go about it? Pls expantiate further on it |
Am already using ma own copy |
What usually happens here in nairaland when people react to an event, a news item or a submission by a fellow member is very instructional. ..a lesson in isolation of what happens in the larger society. I have never seen a single item here where people on nairaland in a thread reacted with unity or in agreement with one voice. There must definitely be at least, one dissenting opinion that runs contrary to the general popular or consensus opinion however however reasonable! If Jesus and Muhammed were to be brought to nairaland forum for members to comment on, God forbid, some members will surely cast aspersions on them! The dangerous aspect of the reactions and opinions is that quarrels are easily generated among members that would shortly dwarf and seek to put the main topic of discussion into oblivion and we will begin to tackle one another on d use of English, morality, discipline etiquette and other sundry issues that bear no relevance to the topic of discussion. Haba! Am not here to laud or condemn what Peter Obi is reported to have done but all am saying is: let us be diplomatic in our reactions according one another the necessary respect and when there is need to have oneness of opinion let it be one. God bless us all. |
@papillo, ur comments there is as amusing as it is quite unfortunate! Are you inferring that the prosecution and the trial judges just in a day convicted the accused without fair trials (I don't know if the accused had appeals though). A roadside vulcanizer with acid as his tool of trade? Haba! A four month-old baby and a four year-old boy! Even if the baby drank the acid by himself (which is very much impossible) where was he when the baby left in his custody was playing with acid and acid being what it is should not have been put in a place where even toddlers can have easy access to it. He who kills by the sword must die by it. I am in full support of capital punishment for capital offenses. Doing the contrary is encouraging criminality and that won't augur well for our country. For crying out loud, why should we say someone who deliberately killed a fellow human being should be kept in prison custody for life and get fed and catered for wit the tax payers money including the money of the relations of the person killed by him? It is absurd and even against the rule of natural justice. They must be made to die even more painful deaths becos in my opinion, death by hanging isn't as painful as the one by a sip of conc acid. Die, u wicked soul and rot away in hell! |
Most pple who post comments here don't probably watch the wildlife channels on dstv. Phytons are powerful constrictors that fear no animal in the jungle. It is an awesome beast! I once watched a clip where a python actually killed and swallowed a big leopard. In another clip, it was the timely intervention of the other members of a lion pride that saved a lion that strayed out of the pride. The python had floored the lion and was trying to coil round him when he raised an "sos" alarm that attracted other members who came to his rescue and freed d lion. The python still escaped! |
Ustv is a wonder on my Samsung galaxy note 2! Its simply a dstv of some sort |
It's a false alarm. Yet to be released but hopefully this July |
To the best of my knowledge mtn bis works perfectly on Samsung galaxy note 2. I did it for my boss in the office and he's been enjoying it. Somehow it is also unlimited |
Yes! They deserved to die! What rights did they have to take the lives of fellow human beings? For those clamouring for the abolition of capital punishment for capital offenses I want to believe that they too are potential criminals because the souls of the innocent people they killed have long been crying for justice. After consciously carrying out their evil acts and condemned accordingly, they now approach the courts for a possible technical bailout which is elusive! When those innocent people they killed were begging them for leniency did they reason and listened? Now it's payback time some stupid people are crying wolf |
Yeah! I would prefer a Brazil/Spain final but the bitter truth here is that Uruguay and other countries like Ecuador have the password to unlock Brazil's coded might. To them they are like minnows. But if Brazil put their acts together and play as a team, Uruguay wont be a hard nut for them to crush, not only crack! |
Where did you get it from and how did you u get it? At what price pls? Also tell us about your experience using the charger since u got it. Based on the ratings quoted above do you think it can power or charge my Samsung galaxy note 2 which battery rating is 3100mA? Please answer as quickly as possible. |
This is really a big boys' thread. I own both note 2 and S3. I also own 2 laptops but my note 2 has rendered my laptops almost completely redundant since I acquired it because it is fast efficient and quite handy. I love the phone die! When I eventually get the S4 I will make a comparison. However for the battery what I did is kept the follow come battery which I use once in a while and I got 2 other batteries which I interchange |
you should have come up with the android version first. At any rate you have done very well. it is a good initiative. Pls be fast with the android version |
Give the contact details of your partners in lagos pls. Am in lagos presently and will love to have a copy before returning to base on Sunday |
Thats true. I dread all these Chinese products however elegant they look. They cant stand the test of time. Chinese were known for toys in the past and that was where they were making their money. Suddenly they ventured into electronics and phones yet they still believe they are manufacturing toys and that is the simple reason their electronic and other phone or communication products don't last at all |
Yes pls. Where are you based and what is the mode of payment, delivery and contact. I am in Ekiti and will be visiting lagos on friday. Lets know where you are based. |
You left many questions unanswered. Where can one get it to buy and when is it available |
Will it charge my Samsung galaxy note 2 and how effective is it? Secondly, what is the range and how much does it cost? Finally how and where can one get it to buy? |
Omo, if u want to limit urself within the context of the tested and trusted android that is also popular go for Samsung galaxy note 2. It has the longest battery life for now. Can't recommend Motorola brand because not many pple have used it on this forum |
Already downloaded it but it gave me a different profile name different from what I originally registered with. I tried to effect a change but it hasn't worked |
@jedisco u seem to miss the point! If a phone that cost 100+k in 2008 could not deliver a quarter of the features of another phone that costs far less in 2013, then something very fundamental is wrong with such a manufacturer. Those of you cooking up excuses for Nokia brand are just being sentimental and sentiments won't solve Nokia's myriad of problems. Candidly speaking if Nokia wakes up tomorrow and manufactures a phone that beats galaxy note 2 and the likes I will promptly switch camp but for now Nokia is close to the precipice! |
Don't mind Nokia. It used to be my favourite but like many other people who are phone freaks I decided to dump nokia some years back because of its arrogance and lack of vision. Nokia also lacks continuity and it will make a brand which as soon as it received public acceptance nokia will quickly rest the production of such a brand. Arrogance! Nokia phones are too expensive for their values as well. Imagine Nokia E90 which I bought in the year 2008 for N105, 000 having just about 128 MB RAM and less than 500MB internal storage! The phone is practically useless because u can't stream video successfully with it and what can u even do wt it? Compared to Samsung galaxy note 2 that I bought some months ago for N100k and having a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage! Nokia really needs to do a kind of self re-appraisal and chart a new way forward with a view to getting into the mainstream of phone manufacturing in this century. ...take a cue from Samsung and and other leading giants. |
To browse on your Android phone with mtn bbc or any other bb subscription you need not root your phone pls. Just change the APN to blackberry. net and do the subscription that is all. I did it for someone ystday and its working |
