Real Truth and Davemat hit the nail on the head. LOVE IS VERY REAL. God and Jesus shows us love in the ultimate sense but that dont mean the evil ones will not go unpunished. Likewise, True love works in harmony with self control, reason and not just going after the heart. Whitney Houston thought she was in love( probably was) but her relationship with Bobby was a self denial/ obsession and that is not LOVE in the real sense of the word. Sometimes when you LOVE someone you have to let them go. Love will make you see and bring the best in someone but would not compromise on their everywhim if it is in the wrong way. For example. If you child sees sweet in the gutter, and picks it up to lick it, would you say because your precious is crying, you would allow her/him to lick the sweet, real love would make you snatch that sweet and wash his handseven if he cries all day long for that sweet.

If your honey, cracks cocaine , would you say nothing cos you think its true love? thats not love in the real sense. If your sweet physically abuse you, would you stick around and do nothing thinking that is love? well sorry that is not true love.

Love is very different from Infatutation and / or Obsession.

I say, it depends on the situation.

If it is mutual breakup then return it to him unless he asks that you keep it( for respect)

If i broke up with him then i return it since i no longer require his love and broke his poor heart anyways.

if he brokes up with me( God Forbids!. lol) i will cut all contacts and that means no ring.( This is in context of us not loving together already) even if we live together, will tell him am selling the ring, wetin he wan do? Na Judge Judy go settle the case if he shamelessly wants it by force.

Watched it as well. Was shocked to say the least. When they chorused Nigeria twice, I became so ashamed and my tummy churned. I instantly started to think of how others would view me at work the next day. VERY disturbing documentary.

We need to start a campaign to show that its not at all Rosy in UK much more in other parts of Europe ( esp if one is not legal) .Let us start telling the truth about what really happens here ! pls we need to stop the future generation from flooding here doing nothing when they can actually do better in Nigeria. I just wish somebody who can pull the strings can act fast and now,

True, we all should give someone the benefit of the doubt but this should be based on informed and satisfying reasoning's, whilst you cannot really observe someone's behaviour until you get married( even at that), its good you go back to the drawing board and not completely block your ears to your parents warning.Someone pointed out that social and cultural upbringing matters. she grew up with her senior sisters cheating on their husbands and justifying their reasons for doing so( who knows what else must have occurred in that same family). She might not be in agreement with them now but remember she might also not be completely cut off from them in the future. When they don't see anything wrong in cheating, they might encourage her one day to do the same. Think of the future and not just now.

To be frank, if i were a mother, i would not allow my son to marry in such family where there seem to be no sense of moral upbringing and Godly fear whether Genetic or not that's irrelevant anyway-a thief is never born a thief! they make them self one .

I dont agree with a girl demanding for money, That shouldn't even crop up if the r'ship is real.

Having said that, a guy who really  cares for you would not be happy seeing you lack as they would always want the best for you and vice versa.

Although,Its a totally different ball game when a guy , for instance, wears designers , obviously loaded and the gf is looking chav all in the name of looking to see if she is wife material. Thats crazy, i sooo hate to have any of those types around me, ieeeeeew!!

Its natural for girls to feel more comfortable with guys who they know can handle their part as regards finance and other responsibilities. It gives a sense of security which most girls sought for.  I have heard from the grapevine that if a guy doesn't spend on you, he is sure spending on someone else!. If he cant spend on you when not married, he will not spend on you when married.

There's a very thin line here, very sticky topic, circumstances and situations differ, it now really depends. So discernment is always required .

Have always been curious in learning what am doing right now. and now trying the keys for more opportunities in finance.

I currently work in a property firm and hope to learn more in real estate and finance both as an analyst and and adviser, Working towards that with prof exams, not easy coming entirely from a science background, but i know i will get there God's willing.

This is really tuff and more seriouse than you think. But all things depends on your girlfriend to make and settle the matter if possible. But ofcourse the aim of giving out the magazines is to draw your attention to Jehovah God and vindicate his soverignty thats why they always ask to come back to visit you and discuss more on the bible.

It may amaze pple to know that all of them who go out to preach to people are not paid to do so. None of them are paid to do these work of preaching the word as instructed by Christ. If you are curiouse on how they get their money and print such large volumes of magazines without selling them , please ask them to give you the video on Jehovah's Witness as an organisation.

So you'all pls get your fact right. One way to do so is to ask one when u see them why they think or believe in certain truths. You will be shocked when they would show you from your bible what your pastors cannot. Alternatively, you can attend a public talk on a sunday and see for yourself.

My ex-fiance acted like a friend on the net who wanted to help me with relationship issues. while i poured out my heart to this unknown person really thinking he was there to help. The BASTARD  saved all the chat and manipulated the wordings( apparently hes been with another girl where he was and the white girl called me to confirm our relationship). This is a guy who was begging that i marry him and yet he showed her and everyone who knew about us the chat and all my confession on my past relationship. I was looked upon as the liar, cheat and undeserving. one In the chat he changed the words like he didnt want me and i was begging him to marry him( he did that to cover his head when he was found by his girlfriend), TO SAY I WAS MAD WAS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. As if that was not enough, he printed it out and showed to my mum and the body of elders in my church, thru  the email like it was from an unknown person.

How i got to find out about the truth, i made freinds with the now ex-girlfriend who told me via fone EVERYTHING about his double id online and  how hes been living a dream life with her before the incident. As if that is not enuff bullshit, his friends who only know one side of the story all want to meet me and talk . for what now tsuuu,  and if u see him you would think he would not hurt a fly, I HATE GEEKS!!!!!! they are worse! Am sure glad he is on the other side of the world from me if not, na GOD i just dey look as he spoilt my reputation ALL BECOS i told him i needed time to think of marrying him,
