Faith is an investment, a life time investment. This is what makes the believer wise and the unbelievaber foolish.

Profitable as in wise. The same context Jesus talked about profit and loss.

Okay - I accept that.

in your prior post to me, you mentioned money twice in a way insinuating that i was only referring to money.

I responded to a post about money and you responded to mine - my response was simply in furtherance of my previous post.

What do you think? The first article could easily be anything including money. Sorry for the oversight however, perhaps i wasn't critic-looking for money when reading. Just saw the second article.
Again, It is a timeless scriptural truth that if one sows bountiful, he will reap bountiful, GOD is not mocked.

No one is challenging sowing and reaping, however my point stands - God is not an investment bank or a money doubling agent. If you want to make financial profit, go and trade with your talents as the wise ones did in the parable of the sower.

elampiro: In that interview, Wenger was giving reason is isn't playing 4-4-2. Why he decided not to use two strikers. He didn't need to go into tactical details in his decision to play a man in he hole or as an AM.

How do you know Wenger was talking about 4-4-2 when 'coaches don't pay attention to details in terms of formation'? cheesy

You just keep making more and more daft statements. Wenger's reason for not playing 4-4-2 is because 4-3-3 worked better for RVP and Fabregas.

http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/wenger-i-did-not-copy-4-3-3-from-barca

Another interview where Wenger talks about playing 4-3-3, but elampiro will tell you Wenger doesn't pay attention to formation details. All in an attempt to justify a ridiculously daft assertion that RVP has never played 4-3-3 in his life. cheesy

Coaches don't pay attention to details in terms of formation. That's why a coach who plays 3-4-1-2 will tell you he plays 3-5-2 or 4-4-3. One who plays 4-2-3-1 will tell you he plays 4-4-1-1 or 4-3-3. One who plays 4-4-2 might call it 4-2-4.

Coaches don't pay attention to details in terms of formation but Elampiro does. cheesy

You are truly deluded.

The question about 4-3-3, is there one operating as an Attacking Midfielder? If yes, then it's no 3 man midfield.

Utter rubbish - where was it defined that you cannot have an 'attacking midfielder' in a 4-3-3? What are you smoking this Sunday afternoon?

Rubbish! Nonsense!

One of your three midfielders operated behind the striker and between the wingers. I am sure this was why you guys bought Ozil as the natural player to operate there after you lost Nasri.
If Gaal says United plays 3-5-2, are we to just swallow it even though we know Mata is playing in front of the midfield?

Wenger says Arsenal changed their formation to 4-3-3 due to the players we had which brought the best out of Van Persie but Elampiro says it's not 4-3-3. Who do you believe? Amodu's sidekick or Arsene? cheesy

Arsenal played 4-3-3 with RVP. If you can't understand that then your problems are worse than I thought.

You failed to understand the interview. Arsenal plays 4-2-3-1.mostly, it doesn't mean there are no occasional switches in formation. Moreover, there's nothing like a second striker in a 4-3-3 formation.

If Arsene says he has switched to a 4-3-3 what formation are they playing other than 4-3-3? undecided Did Wenger say he played 4-3-2-1 or is that something you just pulled out of your behind? undecided

This is not an occasional switch - this is the switch that allowed RVP to score more goals for Arsenal over an 18 month period. Or is playing the same formation for 18 months now 'occasional'? undecided

elampiro: Debosky, is this what you call 4-3-3? Where you have Rosicky or Ramsey in the whole? RVP in the box as the arrow head? In a 4-3-3 you have a false 9 because he has to be involved in the build up. Wenger counted the player in the hole as a midfielder, hence 3 midfielders in the interview.
........
Wenger:
“So at the end of the day we have top quality players who are wingers, and once you play two of those, it’s difficult to add another striker up front with Robin as well.”
-Wenger on why they don't play 4-4-2.

What nonsense are you babbling? Wenger was simply saying when he played Walcott/Arshavin/Gervinho, he had to play 4-3-3 with RVP in the middle beside two wingers = what rubbish are you going on about Rozzi in the hole?

Whether occasional or regularly for 18 months, your statement that RVP has never played 4-3-3 is both idiotic and thoroughly dim-witted.

RVP was the arrow man in a lone striking formation. Go check it out on whoscored.com

Arsenal played a 4-3-3 with RVP playing centrally. I don't need whoscored.com to tell me what Arsenal's formation was.

This is what Arsene himself said -

“He has done well up front since we have switched to more of a 4-3-3, but I must say that I don’t play this system just to suit Robin, because I’m sure that Robin would be just as suited – if not even more so – as a second striker.

Stop swallowing whoscored.com info hook, line and sinker without using your brain.

Did you have bites on your body/marks? Were they any different from those you would've gotten from mosquito bites?

elampiro: In a 4-3-3, RVP and Mata will be useless. I doubt if they have even played it all their lives. 4-3-3 is more counter attack oriented where you get lot of men behind the ball and run some yards down into the final 3rd. Di Maria, Rooney, Welbeck, Nani/Val will be most effective. Rooney needs to be told to drop deep (it looks like Giggs told him) in order to play facing the opposing defence. He plays backing the defence these days and his work rate is gone. It might even affect his fitness in the long run.

What formation did RVP play in at Arsenal? You just like to talk nonsense like it's your middle name. undecided

Profit and loss is involved, isn't it?

Sir, in the context of the verse you quoted, no. That scripture is simply telling you to value your soul above collecting worldly possessions - the term 'profit' there was used to juxtapose the temporary value of worldly possessions versus eternal life. It involves no 'investment' - the only requirement to have eternal life is to believe.

Giving to God remains the most profitable way to give Debo. You don't seem to like the sound of that but it is truth.

I don't know what you mean by 'profitable' in this context so care to explain?

Giving to God falls under laying treasures in Heaven. i don't get why folks keep limiting or narrowing the context to money money. i didn't mention money,

I didn't say you mentioned money, but Ola's article did - that is what I responded to.

Olaa and his article didn't mention or emphasize money.

Are you being disingenuous or genuinely mistaken? His article has money all over it - in fact he mentioned money and materials. Furthermore his second article he posted in response to my post is focused PRIMARILY on money. Let's not beat around the bush here.

Please re-read the article I responded to.

It pays to serve Jesus. What would it PROFIT a man if he loses his own soul?

Sir, Jesus is saying if you gain the world but lose your soul, you've lost the most important thing. He did not say give me your money so I will give you the highest profit.

God is not a money doubling agent or an investment bank. God is not a trader, neither is he a businessman.

Given the experiences are oddly the same - across different countries/cultures - the 'sitting' feeling on the chest and inability to speak, it may indeed be a neurological phenomenon.

However, whether demonic attack or neurological, there is nothing Jesus cannot do - if he needs to reset your brain/body so it doesn't happen again, it is within his power to do so.

Regardless of the explanation, seek Jesus and commit whatever it is to him and he will make you whole.

That's a tenuous statement and a ridiculous one at that - the fact he was injured when you won doesn't mean he wasn't a vital player.

The number of games he featured in last season is shows he wasn't regarded as a luxury player.

Besides, being a mainstay in a WC winning side doesn't mean you were the most influential or that there weren't other mainstays.

For all you know you'll be buying Kroos back in 3 years at even more than you sold him for, while there's practically zero re-sale value on Alonso.

A player that was a mainstay in the WC winning side is now a 'waste' eh? All you can say is that financially you didn't want to pay what he wanted, which is fair enough.

As for youths being ready to step up - it's all luck of the draw as I'm sure you know. The so called youth could end up playing for 1860 or some other lower division side if they don't cut it.

Your post on 'Darwin's day' includes an assertion about transitional forms. How am I losing focus if I am referring to one of the assertions about Darwin's day?

If your assertion is baseless, by inference your 'Darwin's day' begins to lose credibility and value.

So answer the question - what is the basis/credibility of your 'Darwin's day' claim about transitional forms compared to that of UC Berkeley?

He plays a similar role as Ozil is expected to, so we should be able to compare. This is especially so if he plays on the 'left' and remains effective.

Comments about Jack are irrelevant here as both Jack and Ozil played in the same positions last season as they did against Everton. Expect English journos to ask about English players, especially after Jack is perceived to have been poor and the manager was defending his player -nothing more.

Now if you said Wenger was benching Santi for Wilshere that might have some merit.
