Thalaba Ibn AbdulRahman was a young man at the age of 16. He always ran errands for the prophet pbuh. One day while walking though the city of Medina, he passed by a house with an open door. Out of curiosity he took a glance inside. In this glance, he saw a light curtain being blown away from a bathroom entrance were a woman was bathing. He immediately lowered his gaze. With an extreme feeling of guilt and hypocrisy his mind ran. Thinking to himself, ?How could I be of the companions, one that is close to the prophet pbuh, one who runs his errands and be so horrible as to disrespect peoples privacy??.. He feared that Allah would reveal to the prophet pbuh evidence of his hypocrisy. His guilt denied him to ever show his face to the prophet pbuh. So he ran away. Days went by and the prophet kept asking the other companions if they had seen Thalaba. No one had seen him. With the prophet?s worry about Thalaba he sent a few of the companions to look for him everywhere, among them were Omar Ibn Al Khattab and Salman Al Farisiy. They looked everywhere in Medina, and on the out skirts of Madina, until they came about a set of mountains between Mecca and Medina where some nomads where herding sheep. The companions asked the nomads if they had seen a young man with Thalaba?s characteristics. They told the companions about a weeping boy. He had been here for 40 days. He came down from the mountains once a day weeping and drank the milk they would offer him. Then he went back up the mountains weeping, crying, always asking for Allah for forgiveness, and saying words of repentance. So the companions waited until he came down and watched him. He had lost weight. His countenance reflected sorrow as he drank the milk that was mixed with his tears. The companions insisted that they take him back to the prophet pbuh but he refused and asked them if Allah had revealed verses saying he was a hypocrite. They told him that they had no knowledge of any such verses. He was taken back to Medina where the prophet pbuh went to see him. He asked again if Allah had put him among the hypocrites or revealed that he was. The prophet pbuh assured him that there were no such verses. He laid out Thalaba?s tired, weak body and placed Thalaba?s head on his lap. He said, ?Oh prophet of Allah remove the head of a sinner away from you.? The prophet pbuh comforted him until he told the prophet pbuh I feel as though ants are walking between my flesh and bones. The prophet told him it was death and his time had come. He witnessed while Thalaba?s head was on his lap, Thalaba proclaim ?There is no god worthy of worship other than Allah, and that Mohamed pbuh is the messenger of Allah.? The prophet pbuh washed Thalaba and carried him to the grave. It is narrated that on their way to bury Thalaba, the prophet pbuh walked on his tippy toes as though he were in a crowd. When Omar asked about this, the prophet pbuh explained that he was being crowded with the angels. |

This is a very good question. I will answer based on my infinitesimal knowledge. The fact that you thought abt something bad and you didn't put it into action does not mean you committed sin. It's a sign of fear and faith. This shows that such person knows that his/her maker is watching him in every action he does. This act explains the concept of "worship God as if u are seeing him even tho u can't see him buy he sees you".. I commend the op for such bravious decision to overcome the temptation of the devil. If everybody who claim to be religious act in such manner, religion and life will be very easy. There won't be pastors and imams engaging in bad act or hypocriticy. All I knw is that the fear of God comes from the heart and not sometimes from physical appearance or ur status in religious gathering. The best of u are those who fear God most. In conclusion, OP I think you haven't committed any sin cos you never put it into action but you avoided it because u fear ur lord which may lead to rewarding benefits. 1 Like |

A 19 year old boy named Ayanlaja Ramoni Adebola from Nigeria has just discovered is own mathematical formula for solving mathematical problem of a^x=bx. A question was asked by his friend to him which brought his research to find the solution to the mathematical problem. He was asked to find the value of x in the equation 4^x=8x.He had to make research on such questions hoping they exist. But he discovered that most people know that the answer was 2 but what is the solution(workings) to the problem? Some made use of graph method, some made use of Eisten Raph method but he noticed most people had to limit the value of 2 because they already knew the answer was 2. He made his research on such question and concluded there must be workings leading to the solution of the problem. By his handwork he proposed his own formula which he named "Debo's formula". Which states that for the equation a^x=bx, then x={log{b/loga)} /loga. (where x is approximated to a whole number). Chek out the solution of 4^x=8x using Debo's formula. 4^x=8x Solution a=4 and b=8 Debo's formula ==>x=log{b/loga} divided by log a X=log{8/log4} /log4 X=log{8/0.6021} /log4 X=log 13.2868/log4 X=1.1234/0.6021 X=1.86=2(Approximate to the nearest whole number) Thus, using Debo's formula x=2. Proof that x=2 from Debo's formula 4^x=8x 4^2=8*2 16=16 His friends argued that his formula can only be used to solve 4^x=8x...Another question of that type was created. Solve 3^x=9x Using Debo's formula a=3 and b=9 x=log{b/loga} divided by loga x=log{9/log3) divided by log3 x=log(9/0.4771) /log3 x=log18. 864/log3 x=1.2756/0.4771 x=2.67=3(approximate to nearest whole number) X=3 using Debo's formula. Proof ==> 3^x=9x 3^3=9*3 27=27 Using Debo's formula Another problem was created 8^x=32x Using Debo's formula a=8 and b=32 Debo's formula ==>x=log{b/loga} divided by loga x=log{32/log8} /log8 x=log {32/0.9031}/log 8 X=log 35.43/log8 X=1.5494/0.903 X=1.7=2(Approximate to the nearest whole number) Using Debo's formula x=2 Proof that x=2 8^x=32x 8^2=32*3 64=64 So Debo later concluded that if the problem was in form of a^x=ax or b^x=bx or c^x=cx.. He concluded that x=1 must be among the solution to such problem. Thus, 4^x=4x Debo concluded that x=1 using his idea. He later said Debo's formula can't be used to solve problems in form of a^x=ax cos the numeric digit of both Left hand side and Right hand side are equal because "a is in the left hand side and a is also on the right hand side" he concluded that x=1. But if the equation is in form of a^x=bx You can see that the numeric value of the Left hand side (a) is different from the numeric value of the right hand side =(b). He concluded that Debo's formula is applicable to such equation. And the before Debo's formula is used the LHS and the RHS must both be either even or both odd. For comments or observation or conversation concerning Debo's formula add him on Facebook with Ayanlaja Adebola Debo.

hmm....Different people wit different posts sha....Anyway i think Nothing in ds world can happen witout God not knowing about..I also belive there is reason for every action....It is known dt we are all gona die bt dt is wen our time is due.....I belive dose two ladies or women time was due nd dt d kind of Death God want for dm...Bt d pastor was lcuky cos it not yet his time..........If i am to use science to xplain dt kinda action.......i think d charges in d cloud builds up during rainfall which leads to the effect of action at a point or point action. When ds occur dere might b lighteneing nd thunderstorm due to d accumulation of charges...The charges den pass down frm d cloud to the earth wit a great momentum wit the help of lighteneing nd thunder..Wen it strikes trees,it would be obsereved the tree may bend..wen it strikes building, the building may collapse or may gt burnt nd dt Y pple buld houses nd use Lighteneing conductor which absorbs the charges frm d sky true thunderstor nd lighteneing to the earth..The earth den neutralize it...So since dere was electrical appliance in dt region, electric field has alredy been set up and dae were standing on deir feet mayb wit bare legs...Ds can lead to the penetration of d electric shock..Thus,dae may be dead due to electrocution...That is Y it is not advisable to stay around electric appliance which are swtiched on during heavy rain fall cosing thunderstorm...It is also advisable u swtich off all electrical appliances to prevent damge...That's my view my ogas....==>DEBO<== |
