blackpanda: Abi o. Let those seccessionist apologist get it in their thick brain. We acknowledge the fact that we are Biafrans and our major role and objective is to make sure that every current state in Nigeria which originally constitute the Republic of Biafra is intact and secured, and without the Indigenous People of Biafra in remote villages alike coming together as one indivisible and united people with one collective goal and vision, our task is incomplete. The indigenes and inhabitants of some parts of the riverine communities of Calabar south, especially in Etakpor, Ibom and Idang were happy to receive the goodnews of Biafra and delighted to know that Biafra restoration project has been re-inkindled. Never knew that you're among the illiterate Afonjas roaming around all the streets of NL politics section looking for anything Biafra and IPOB to feast on but this time around you were disappointed.

Stop trolling.
Egbas and Ijebus are the same people and the most intertwined Yoruba groups out there. Shymm3xx: Lol, why would Ijebus go trouble Oyo, when Oyo never troubled Ijebus? And where in your arse did you pull the tripe you're spouting that Ijebu was ever under Oyo, at any point in history? You need to slap ya history teacher.
Ya warrior hid under the rock all his life. And Ijebus kicked ya arses out of Ibadan and turned you lot into refugees under the rock and you lot have remained refugees there. It sucks lol. If Egbas had been brave, they would have marched through Ijebu kingdom, rather than pick on small Egba towns. Heck, the entrance to the Kingdom was in Eredo, in Epe, and according to the history books - no Egba man came close to the place when it reigned supreme lool. Take this L!
Egbas like Ijebus aren't even one of Oduduwa's children. Only Owu has direct connections to Oduduwa and Owus aren't even Egbas lol. I believe the Owu link is what stays gassing Egbas up. Anyway, that's a story for another day. But the fact that Ijebus achieved more than Egbas in precolonial/post-colonial Nigeria...and have also been the head of Yorubas alone (Awolowo and Adesanya) should show you who has the leverage. Seethe on that.
I'm rolling with Ijebus not Egbas - you lot can do whatever you do in Ogun, but keep me out of it lol. And stop supporting rogue leaders lol. |

The internet and blogosphere were agog as the news of the release of the chibok Girls kidnapped two years ago were release. It was reported by some media platforms like Sahara Reporters, Daily Trust etc that their release was done after the Presidency agreed to swap the kidnaped girls with Boko Haram terrorists held in detention facilities notable among them being Kabiru Sokoto who masterminded the killing of over 200 worshippers at Madalla Niger state on the Christmas eve years ago. The question is " is the presidency having a soft spot for Boko Haram terrorists?Hardly had the news filtered in than the Presidency through the minister of information Alhaji Lai Mohammed debunked the news says that NO SWAP took place and that the release was facilitated by the Military. It is now evident that the presidency is economical with the truth and are all out to sustain the propaganda they have have been dishing out to the gullible readers. But such deceits are not new to the discerning minds how have known this present government as government of deceits, directionless, confusion, anomaly, docility, ineptitude, incompentence, and economic illiterates. The charades done so far are nothing but a PROPAGANDA http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/how-nigeria-swapped-21-chibok-girls-for-four-boko-haram-commanders/166622.html?platform=hootsuite#Qe92z1vGwci2aFuH.99http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/10/release-of-21-chibok-girls-not-based-on-swap-fg/ |

Pidggin: How do you know, is it every woman that is married and does it mean she will abandon her father after marriage? Which one is married off na, abi your mother doesn't associate with her family members because she is married or what?
Life is not like that o lol, she will still identify with her own family members na You still don't get. If she marries her coming to the family will be limited and not 'frequent' or staying in the family house. But the only thing now is the tribe in question. |
Family › Re: My Husband And I Just Found Out He Has An 18yr Old Daughter. by Decibel: 8:43pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
Pidggin: I hope you know females now have a right to inheritance and even if the father doesn't leave anything for her she can still take the case to court if she can prove that she is his legitimate child and she will definitely win as it is in our constitution that no one should be discriminated against based on gender or any other factor.
This law was signed into act sometime in May 2015 and since then many females have won cases of inheritance. She will definitely win. The OP' fears are valid. I will personally find this situation hard to deal with, Chai. It's not about inheritance but freedom from antagonist. The woman will be married off while she will be seeing the boy around. |
