There is crime everywhere. And besides, most of the crime here in Chi-town is concentrated on the West side of downtown. I am in quiet and very safe a Suburb about 55 miles from downtown. Majority of Nigerians live in Suburbs and will not experience any of the crime. And downtown proper itself is quite safe. Took the train down there for work for about 15 years or so...no issues at all.

That's not true. a medical degree from an accredited university is recognised. to get into residency in the US, you have to pass your usmles very well and get necessary us clinical experience

Lol. It's fine. The first step is to learn to read/write hangul which is way easier than I thought it would be. I use the Hangul app from the playstore(screenshot attached).
We would definitely need to find a native speaker of we want to truly learn sha, and it helps greatly. I had one when I was learning German and believe me I was learning at a fast pace.
WhatsApp is necessary for our own communication.
For learning grammar, building vocabulary, I use Lingodeer from the playstore also. Duolingo is not good enough for Korean, i tried. If anyone has others please recommend.
