What a JOKE When i read large quantity of arms and ammunition i was expecting RPGs, machine guns, APCs and assorted automatic rifles But on seeing the pictures i can't help but SMH WORST OF ALL WAS READING THAT A BAND OF VILLAGERS WERE ABLE TO TAKE ON A COMBINED TEAM OF NIGERIAN ARMY AND AIR FORCE PERSONNEL who were properly briefed and sent (purportedly) to confront gun runners and THE SPOKESMAN SHAMELESSLY announced to the world that they lost as much as 11 men to the rag tag band. Hope these are not the ones Buhari is going to confront NDA With? |
Good morning Mr TonyeBarcanista (in Ojukwu's voice) It's only a matter of time before you'll realize that politics in Nigeria is all about who controls the petrol dollars. And That party affiliation is just a means to an end When you get to that time and stage you'll understand that only strong Alliance between the two regions in whose domain the oil is located will change the status quo. Then you'll understand that nnamdi Kanu was right after all, even if you don't like his choice of words. Until then I'll suggest that you should stop ridiculing your self by going back and forth, because you'll end up frustrated like many other others before you. Take it or leave it; Freedom is taken not given Once again good morning |
I smell a very big rat. Military operation and dialogue going on side by side means something more The nnamdi Kanu joker is another thing And the so called Aeron team, Taking more than two months to visit the people they're supposedly representing raises more questions than answers My guess, The government just want to buy sympathy (knowing that majority of the indigenous people support the agitators) and enough time to study their modus operandi, train the armed forces and take delivery of relevant logistics (if you know worai mean) And more importantly ensure that crude production returns to planned volume as quickly as possible Will the government succeed, I'm not very sure Because going by NDA's recent statement, they already know that that's the government's plan and I believe them when they said they're ready. As for MEND, They're being unnecessarily overzealous Just to impress the powers that be and to be seen as fighting for the interest of the niger delta when in reality they are just fighting to defend their amnesty prize and to dislodge tompolo in the Niger delta scheme of things By the way where are omenka, HungerBAD and Dabullit |
How come HungerBAD is not following this thread yet |
HungerBAD:I'm sure APC members will be proud of you for the wonderful work you're doing on numerous social media platforms. One question please, Do you live all your life on the Internet? Anyways, I hope the pay is good. No offence please. |
Madu |
I'm waiting for the concluding part of the article And of course the SAUCE (LOL) Till then, sips my kunu |
Sensationalism at its peak, See how a senator's complain about his colleagues breaking their internal rules is twisted |
When the video first appeared on YouTube some called them Igbo militants while others said they're from lybia Now it's becoming clearer |
Is that so, why is Nigeria or Nigerian leaders like this? But why did it take Edi Abali Buru Buru so long to speak up on this all important issue. From the tone of his language, i de smell chon chin I Hope other notable voices will speak up to make clarifications on this because this information has the capacity to further worsen the niger delta situation. |
. |
E don happen Let's see who brinks first |
omenka:And after this you'll still shamelessly tag lalasticlala, mynd44 and co. whenever others use derogatory words to address Buhari or any other thing you support. I admire your consistent support for APC (though i don't agree with you most times) but i feel disappointed whenever you loose your like in the post i quoted. |
IMPECCABLE! how i wish the PDP can quickly resolve their internal crisis and provide a robust opposition to the Apc. Nigerians for once would have seen true democracy in action. Who knows, maybe that's why everything is seemingly thrown at them to ensure they never recover from the 2015 defeat. Only time will tell, by the way where is my bottle of kunu? |
Nigeria JAGA JAGA............... OFFICERS OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY PROTESTING......? WHERE DID THEY GET THE CLEARANCE TO PROTEST? I COMMENT MY RESERVE But wait I THINK SOME PEOPLE ARE ABOUT TO LOOSE THEIR JOBS. Or better still a military detachment should be sent to disperse them the Onitsha/nkpor style. Oh i forget, that treatment is reserved for IPOB and other biafran elements. Abeg mek i take cover before the bullets begin fly. |
Hmmmm, This is good for democracy Hopefully this matter won't be resolved behind closed doors. So that separation of power can go beyond mere rhetorics |
Ugosample:I concur |
Ugosample:I sympathize with many igbos who still find it difficult to get over the horrible memories of the biafran struggle, But while i support them to be conscious of their history while working towards a better future Instigating more hatred will do them more harm in the long run. There are better and more subtle ways to get their message across without provoking any one. |
aloeman15:Abeg leave matta for mattayas, Inasmuch as i encourage the igbos to rise above hate, The level of hatred exhibited against them by most core northerners is enough to make them do worse. So don't be too sanctimonious. CASE CASE! |
Holywizard:THIS HAS GOT TO STOP I equally detest most of the comments made by other tribes about the igbos But your style is definitely not the way to go. It's time to rise above hate and build some bridges(if possible) Besides the story above is just one of the symptoms of a DEFECTIVE POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC SYSTEMS WE ARE WAILING ABOUT AND IT SHOULD BE CONDEMNED IRRESPECTIVE OF WHICH SIDE OF THE DIVIDE IS AFFECTED. HUMANITY FIRST. |
That's what you get when you treat the symptoms of an ailment instead of the cause. |
I raised the alarm on the other thread that the commencement of the construction of a permanent NAF base at enugu is part of a long term plan to keep the old eastern region in check vis-a-vis the rising agitation but some people choose to call it positive development. Even when the VP confirmed that FG has only been buying time with the dialogue bait (Black water mercenaries comes to mind) I hope this report makes things clearer for DISCERNING minds. I'm happy many people are wiser now than before. Once again i pray that God will keep Buhari alive to see what becomes of the people of that region |
aressssa:Don't quote my comments next time if don't have anything reasonable to contribute. Bye. |
agabusta:'No one is preparing for war' even when our president has vowed to rather drown in the ocean than give biafra a chance. No one is asking the government to do all at once but WHY NOT START WITH THE ONES THAT WILL REASSURE THE PEOPLE INSTEAD OF THE ONE THAT WILL INCREASE THEIR SUSPICIONS AND PROVOKE MORE HATRED. WITH REGARDS TO THE RAIL PROJECT ; YOU MAY NEED TO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT THE MAP |
So many dumb people on this forum, Buhari is preparing for war in the east and most of you are here spewing trash. How will a permanent air base contribute to the economy of South East? Why not enugu/Onitsha expressway, and that of enugu/porthacourt, why not the coal fired power plant he promised during the campaign, why not the expansion of owerri cargo airport why not the inland port at Onitsha and aba. Etc I just pray that God will keep Buhari alive to see what becomes of the igbos. |
For those still in doubt, online or offline the level of Biafra.n consciousness and passion among the igbos especially the youths is EXPLOSIVE TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, IT'S FAST BECOMING A CULT LIKE MOVEMENT. my fear is that those in authority don't seem to understand that it's a ticking TIME BOMB At this level of consciousness, any politician they sponsor will likely win any election in that region and should we have a new set of politicians with this kind of mindset, I don't know what to expect. |
From all indications, the NDA knows what they're in for. My only worry is why some people still fall for the same old and well known divide and rule tactics. Anyways, l have a strong feeling that the government just want to use the media (their strongest weapon) to cause panic in the camp of the agitators. How it'll play out no one can be certain! But will that end the agitation, certainly not. Best the government can achieve with this strategy is to postpone the agitation or (worst of all) arrest or possibly kill their leaders and That will only give rise to another group with another set of leadership Till the issues that fuel the agitation (which is the Nigerian political and economic structures) are addressed, We'll continue to go round the circus, though not for too long because the voice of discontent is fast increasing. |
Talking about confidence, in the old eastern region, only an insignificant and extremely few political jobbers has expressed hypocritical confidence in Buhari right from pre-2015 era In fact the brief period of calmness experienced recently can only be attributed to ibe kachikwu who showed sincerity in pursuit of dialogue with the agitators. Hostility resumed when it became obvious that bubu had other plans His removal from office as GMD NNPC further confirmed that his approach is at variance to that of the children of futa jalon (in FFK's voice) So for the proverbial 5% no confidence has fallen because NON EVER EXISTED. |
Ozin:Datz an insult to Mr sherriffat a. k. a Mr know it all, In case you don't know, The person you're referring to has been reduced to mere figure head And His place taken by another saint from the no.rth. And that's the perfect definition of change. |
attacker321:You just spoke my mind BTW And the earlier those in authority decide to look beyond his choice of words and work on the issues that birthed the agitation, the better for all. WILL THEIR EGO FILLED ARROGANCE ALLOW THEM?.......... |
knightsTempler:Before anyone tries to misquote the president, What the president is saying is that the moon was obscured by the cloud of 16 years of PDP mind blowing looting and a committee of angels has been set up to unravel the individuals behind the squandering of our common wealth.............LIAR MOHAMED. |
