My friend's VISA was denied today @ Abuja embassy.

He said the VO asked him 3 questions about funding his studies.
His COA is 32k
He has partial funding/scholarship of about 8k
Personal funds about 11k
Sponsor( uncle) will take care of the 13k deficit.

What could be the reason for his denial

he should reapply they will give him, I have a friend like that too, his own was even scholarship with stipends and on second application he was not even ask much question and was given

I once enquired on this similar issue before, concerning CAS deadline I think it depends on the university... so which university did u apply to and given conditional offer?

I also had this issue, I send mail to the school and they said I can send in the statement of account even if its not up to 28days for CAS consideration only but before submitting application, I should makesure its up to 30days

Schools request for POF to make sure that you fulfill the financial requirements stated by UKVI, so yes, it has to be 28 days before you send to your university.

Only your school can answer that
Some school give CAS without demanding POF, some ask to see it before 28days, some tell you they won't issue until its 28days.

please, must the money in statement of account be 28days before using it for CAS application or once the money in the account covers the tuition, the statement of account can be use to get the CAS independent of 28days or not please I need people's response. thanks

Send them a message that you waiting for the 25days to elapse...take note you will need at least a 28 days bank statement for your visa application...you can pay in small money to mark your day one and small money to mark your day 25 and day 28 cheers...

It Should be for 28 days...I understand you are kinda in a hurry ...if you don't do it rightly you will delay your CAS with your own hands....you are most likely going to use the same bank statement for the issuance of CAS and visa application...

Thanks so much. but CAS gave me just 25days to send the POF to them. and the money will start counting on Monday because its a new account. can I send them message that I'm yet to meet the mandatory 28days or send the acct to them?

1&2. I'll advice you to tell them you have your funds (send salary account and POF account) but will not be applying for a visa until xx date when it has met the 28day requirement. I don't see any issue because even UKVI accepts loan with consent letter.
I just hope the POF cash was deposited before their email request came in so it doesn't look funny. I also hope they didn't specify 28day POF.

3. Student without scholarship as you don't have one at the date of your IOM test application.

Thanks so much. Because it's a new account the money has not reflect in the account, the manager said they are doing one account verification so hopefully it will drop before weekend . They didn't specify 28days POF just 30days deadline to upload.

It depends on how many weeks or months pregnant she is, my wife did normal xray. She was 1st trimester then..

If they didn't ask you to pay anything, non-payment can't affect CAS issuance. On the account, once it stays for 28days you're good to go...better to do 29 or 30 IMO though but that's just me.
