Katsumoto:
IBB can only win an election in Niger state; you seem to be of the opinion that IBB is a widely liked person. We know the opposite is the case. IBB will only win the votes of those that are either interested in his money or who stand to benefit from his 'national cake-sharing' formula.
If IBB’s national cake-sharing formula trumps the shenanigans being prescribed by the former and current President of Nigeria, I should vote for him not once but twice.

Geez, ure willing to argue this? Dude, theres nothing like "scums" its scum even if theres a billion of them (besides its uncountable). Lets say u wanna refer to a group of hopeless dudes (for the sake of this argument lets say its a buncha Ibo kidnappers) would u say : "Those Ibo kidnappers are the scums of the earth" or "Those Ibo kidnappers are the scum of the earth"? Does the former even sound right to the ears?!?!lol. Dude, for once, be a man and accept u made a mistake; u lost!!! I guess thats Ibo english for ya. Just like this st. . upid Ibo dude a while back, a self proclaimed intellectual just like urself telling me that "Bogus" meant "Something baggy, like Baggy pants that you akata be wearing" lol. The fooooooolllll!!! And he swore he was smart. Like I said, maybe its ibo speak tho. . . . .[/quote]This domesticated farm animal is still meddling on issues above its pedigree. Are you not the same scumbag that does not know “cannot”: is not a word in English Language?
Politics › Re: Babangida Will Not Be President - Abiola Family by Dede1(m): 7:02pm On May 05, 2010
What an arrant nonsense. When did Abiola’s family replace the cesspit called Nigeria as the colonial contraption? I had to say unequivocally that any group of people that tried to elect late Mr. MKO Abiola as dog catcher is irredeemably idiotic.

Tumuzi:
The culture of people called "Igbo" today is old. But the self "identity" and "ethnicity" of being "Igbo" all began in the slave era. Why else do you think Igbo people have always been politically fragmented as a society.  Have you read the  writings of Olaudah Equiano a former igbo slave he explains this quite clearly about how he became to know himself as Igbo. And the slave masters could care less what about the true identity of slaves, they were there to make money. "Igbo" in a sense is a coined term due to a significant period of invasions, the same way "Bantu" is a coined term to a lot of africans by Europeans.
There is a lot of information about how Igbos came to know themselves as Igbo people. The truth is slavery is a big part of the reason, its sad but its true. Why else is there not a clear cut meaning of "Igbo" because people never saw themselves as such before the white man came thats a FACT.
Theres a lot of evidence on the transgressions of Igbo identity.
This book is a start.
What an arrant nonsense. I guess you are not insinuating that British indentified the people as Igbo. Or the people did not identify themselves as IGBO before the British colonialists. Please educate us on the collective name of this group of people as presented to the colonialists.

@ Abagworo and Ow11

The name switch was a typographical error. There was no intent to deceive onlooker. However, you missed the intention of the post. Though differ in language, the Amachree XI and his Kalabari Kingdom had similar band of culture with Ndigbo. There should have been no rancor in any form of affinity between the Ijo of old Rivers State and Ndigbo talk less of Ikweere.
Politics › Re: Bushmen In America Give Jonathan Ultimatum by Dede1(m): 8:45pm On May 01, 2010
For the people who reacted negatively to the comments about Nigeria in the article that were accredited to folks of Nigerian descent living in Maryland, USA, I pray you live old enough to see what Nigeria will become.

By the way, Nigeria, like many African nations born out of idiotic colonial manipulation, does not meet true definition of a nation. It is unfortunate that one of the respondents to the post had the effrontery to refer to a commentator as “common barber”. This is typical Nigerian in display of utter ignorance.

Arguably, one of the greatest countries on earth was once led by a tailor, cobbler or barber. The individuals contributed immensely to the building USA into a greater country than founded. It is even shameful on the part of cesspit called Nigeria that the so-called “common barber” can not profitably engage in such trade in the country without owning generator and queuing for fuel. Nigeria is like a recalled vehicle running on a borrowed time.

Politics › Re: Ahmad Sani Yerima Disgraces Nigeria -BBC Report (example child bride pic posted) by Dede1(m): 5:52pm On Apr 29, 2010
Did Sani Yerima breach any statutory law either in Nigeria or Egypt? It is utter stupidity to call for prosecution of an individual based on moral grounds.
Politics › Re: Senate Probes Yerima’s Marriage To 13-yr-old Girl ! by Dede1(m): 5:42pm On Apr 29, 2010
It is an absolute waste of Nigeria’s fund when Nigerian National Assembly engages in a matter such as marriage. If Ahmed Sani Yerima had breached the any written law as found in Nigerian constitution, I suggest that Yerima should be prosecuted according to the dictates of the law. If there is no such law in the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, the actions and rumblings in the National Assembly about Yeriam’s alleged marriage to 13-year old girl tantamount to stupidity. No nation on the earth has ever legislated morality. Laws are not meant for popularity contest and idea of Nigeria National Assembly engaging any issue from a demonstrating bunch will destroy the so called democracy in Nigeria.

It will be unwelcome insult to the Yoruba ethnic group to identify a domesticated animal such as bk/babe99 as a person of Yoruba ethnicity. The drooling punk with a handle name of bk/babe99 is so ashamed of his or her lineage. I am not surprise that the jackass could not afford the fare for cab ride and yet had the audacity to publicly announce such lazy inherent behavior. Where is the probation officer when the public needs one?
Politics › Re: Afenifere Parleys Ijaw National Congress by Dede1(m): 2:17am On Apr 28, 2010
If Ohanaeze had remotely accommodated the thought of having meaningful political discussion with Afanifere or Ijo National Congress, I should unequivocally declare that Ndigbo have not learnt their lessons. Ohanaeze should first prepare to trail the blaze alone and maybe consider meaningful alliance with the Ibibio, Ananng, Efik, Atama, Ogoni and Ijo of old Rivers State. I do not want Ohanaeze to get involve with discussion centering on ways to perpetuate the existence of colonial contraption called Nigeria but means of bringing it to a glorified death.
Politics › Re: Babangida Faults Quota System In Public Appointments by Dede1(m): 11:44pm On Apr 27, 2010
If Babangida faults the QUOTA SYSTEM, he should disqualify himself from any future relevant human endeavor in the cesspit called Nigeria. It is the same quota system that saw him into Nigerian army. Without quota system, Babangida would not have worn anything bearing the insignia of Nigerian army.

Not too fast, bros. I had wished the same thing too. The term, International Airport, does not worth more than the scratch of paper that contained it.

The truth of the matter is Igbos don't do strike nor protest. Democracy to an average Igbo is been allowed to sell his wares in Sokoto without hindrance, anything that interferes with that is undemocratic. Nobody really cares about Uwazuruike, he can rot in prison , while Igbo traders continue to sell their wares around the country: that means democracy to an average Igbo man.
It is either you are a moronic imbe-cile or an average Igbo man, if I may borrow you term or share in your idiocy, understands the cardinal principles of democracy more than a jackass such as you.
Politics › Re: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by Dede1(m): 7:14pm On Apr 26, 2010
I shall implore monkeyleg and EzeUche not to bite deep into the deceptive nomenclature termed Niger Delta. There are 9 states that included in Niger Delta nonsense. I think that fools such as E. K. Clarke would attempt to hide behind such smoke screen to peddle their ethnic politics. There is no doubt the Ijo such as Clarke is on a political assault on Urhobo or Itsekiri as in Chief Ibori.

When someone uses the phrase, richest state in Nigeria, I tend to wonder how such person arrived at such ridiculous conclusion. Chief Ibori is a saint compared to the former Nigeria military heads of state from the northern and western regions of Nigeria. Why have EFCC failed to spell warrant or attach such word to their names?
Politics › Re: 20 Years After: Your Thoughts On The Orkar Coup by Dede1(m): 6:45pm On Apr 26, 2010
edoyad:
This was the coup that showed IBB and his Almajiri friends how much they were hated by all and sundry. If that coup had been successful the carved out Nigeria would have been the most developed country in Africa without a doubt. The illiteracy and backwardness of the people Orkar cut off is one of the main things still dragging this country backwards 20 years after.
Well they say if at first you don't succeed . . . .
The cross-section of plotters within the Orkar coup was delusional as ever. What primarily failed the coup arose from the pattern of carving the country. I shall never support the carving of colonial contraption called Nigeria that runs into south-north divide.

You are taking the cesspit called Nigeria too seriously. Who in his or her right senses will spend much brain cell thinking about wiping out Nigeria with dirty bomb? I had sent them loads of poisoned champagne and still make profit out of the diabolical method.
Politics › Re: Ohakim Signs Mou On Nuclear Power Generation, Mass Housing by Dede1(m): 4:18am On Apr 25, 2010
I can not believe that any person who had tried to bury the President of Nigeria alive due to unforeseen circumstances would remotely standup a defensive word for Chief Ikedi Ohakim sitting in a place where nuclear technology is the subject of discussion.

It was not long ago that the honorable advocate for Ohakim, the infamous governor of Imo State, Nigeria, on this forum directed the critics of the governor to seek the help of Google in order to ascertain the primary background of the alleged three USA partners in the nuclear means of electricity for Imo State.

To honor the advocacy of the forum contributor, the critics obliged only to found that the combined knowledge of the aforementioned companies can not lead to the construction of a gutter. Nobody is accusing Ohakim of anything unimaginable but common sense suggests that a chief executive officer who could not control ordinary garbage on the streets of Owerri has no business listening to a speech on nuclear power production talk less of signing a waste sheet of paper on it.

Where is the Vice President and flock of EFCC?
Politics › Re: Ohakim Signs Mou On Nuclear Power Generation, Mass Housing by Dede1(m): 9:41pm On Apr 24, 2010
Anybody who does not view this alleged signing of MOU on deployment of nuclear technology for the generation of electricity, mass housing and development of palm produces in Imo state between the governor Ohakim and three USA partners as high stake con artistry is politically myopic and naïveté. All the three companies listed in the article none seemed credible enough to undertake the construction of a gutter.

Any Nigerian official found in possession of such vehicles should be prosecuted and shot. It is absurd to hear that Nigerians of all people are using funds meant for infrastructures and other social amenities that will benefit the entire populace to purchase personal armored vehicles.
