thelastPope: Some of the people listed as directors were kids when those blocks were issued in 1991. Some of the licenses listed there have long expired. That is a propaganda list, simple asI surely agree with you. There is nothing on earth today that will gladden my heart more than disintegration of Nigeria. Before the disintegration surfaces, I shall want all these licenses revoked. The offshore crude oil blocks shall remain in the domain of central government but onshore crude oil fields shall go to state governments period. |
thelastPope: [size=15pt]THAT IS NOT A LIST OF OIL BLOCK OWNERS!I understand the plank of your argument. However, one has to own the OPL, in blocks, then seek for OML, mining license. If a person does not have right to the crude oil blocks, in terms of OPL, he\she has no business with OML, unless he\she buys or joins in the venture of extracting crude oil. |
If this revelation of wickedness perpetrated on Nigerians by fellow compatriots does not lead to revolution in or disintegration of the cesspit called Nigeria, I must say we should resort to doctrine of might is right. |
Slim101: U didn't see Dangote but u saw Dantata there sha?...that's also his family name. But can't say if it's d same.Bro, you are right!!! Most names on the list are fronts. |
omonnakoda: atink say dem say u dieatink say dem say u and famly die una no die again |
I do not give a ratazz what anybody decides to call any ethnic group in Nigeria. It is moronic and poor arrogation of moral policing by moderators to ban people who used certain words for certain ethnicities in Nigeria. |
Afam4eva: One thing is certain. The correct spelling and pronunciation is Igbo and not Ibo. But that doesn't make Ibo derogatory. It's unfortunate that some Igbos and other Nigerians have adopted the white man's way of calling the Igbos. Even Achebe, Azikiwe and other prominent Igbos have always used the term Ibo. That doesn't make it right and that doesn't also make it derogatory. OAM4J was actually ready to start banning people for using Ibo instead of Igbo but i explained to him that it will set a bad precedence if we do because we also have to start banning people for typing Enugu instead of Enugwu, Ibusa instead of Igbo-uzor and Anambra instead of Omanbala. We may even need to start banning people for typing Chichi instead of Chinyere, Chioma etc. It will also not be ideal to ban someone who has known it as Ibo all his life and comes to Nairaland and be banned without knowing that it's wrong to type Ibo. My Igbo brothers, i think this is one fight we have to let slide. I'm Igbo but i don't find it derogatory to be called Ibo because Ibo along with Ibo are been used in official and even cultural documents. What we have to strive to do is to educate people on the right way to refer to Igbos and not punish people for doing what they never thought was wrong. Please Mr. Wiseman, what makes Yoruba, Yooba or Yoro.ba derogatory? It is even unfathomable that Yoruba moderators and owner on this forum had decreed that Yoro.ba is derogatory and went further make the use of the word cumbersome. |
OAM4J: I am not interested in debating this, but I will like to have your evidences please, just for my own personal knowledge. Thanks. Please approach Google and type Yoruba Nigeria. |
OAM4J: Yoro-ba was never accepted by any group of Yorubas or some Yoruba individuals and never used in any publication and I doubt you will find any source outside NL where people use Yoro-ba for Yoruba. Same cannot be said In Ibo/Igbo case. Also we have no parameter to use in deciding what is Igbo majority or minority view on this, reason why I advised that Igbos should meet have an open referendum on the matter so they can speak with one voice and formally communicate their decision to Admin. Its my own personal advise not a NL directive. It is not a surprise to me anyway that nairaland had turned into Nigeria. Even the powers that are in nairaland had made it impossible to use the word -Yor.oba while Ibo is an open season. I write Ijo not the anglicized Ijaw. |
Demdem: Let me simplify it for u probably u didn't get the memo. Though I prefer to use igbo, the word ibo is also acceptable. Literary giants that includes Achebe uses it without any qualms. It's not insultive to vast population of igbos/ ibos. You are simply talking nonsense. There have been instances where Yoruba was referred as Yoruba, according to the original Nupe formulators, and Yooba or Yor.oba by most Nigerians. |
dayokanu: Dendemoron Welcome back, Kedu maka ahia.Dayolodo I can safely deduce that a white collar criminal is better than a cowardly turncoat. |
Aigbofa: Of course, except that Anini did not steal anything close to Alams, why is he not pardoned posthumously?Did you not read a reference about moronic self-appointed moralist in my previous post? |
Pardon is a pardon is a pardon. Any person who thinks the pardon is out of place is either a moronic self appointed moralist or tribal bigot. Anyway, Nigeria is epitome of tribalism. |
I shall hate to see any Igbo person via for the office of presidency in Nigeria. Instead, I love to see Nigeria disintegrate now. I do not care if Nigeria gives rise to 300 nation states not countries. Personally, I would want to see the Republic of Igbo land. It is an error in assumption that Republic of Igbo land will look like the present states in Nigeria’s southeastern region. Nobody knows what the future holds. For a start, unlike Nigeria the official language shall not be English language but Igbo language. Unlike Nigeria, the Republic of Igbo land may not have states and governors. There are many things that inhibit progress and growth in Nigeria that will cease to exist in Republic of Igbo land. The present configuration of Nigeria is a natural heaven for corruption and fertile ground for unproductiveness. The Republic of Igbo land will be free to manage its meager resources and be able to built network of roads, natural deepwater seaport and international airport to compete with Apapa Wharf and MMA. With such economic infrastructures in a country the Ndigbo can call home, most Ndigbo who are scattered all over of Nigeria, especially in Lagos, will be forced to come home to establish since the amenities such as international airport and deepwater seaport should be available at home. It is unfortunate Africans are very eager to imitate all the wrong things from Europeans. |
Nairaland has grown contrary to its formative principles to allow free expression regardless the degree of weirdness. It is even crime to adopt certain spelling of words. It is not uncommon for a person to write words in their original forms. Some moronic dolts navigate to this forum only to call certain posters all sorts of names. Any human being born in Nigeria or any multiethnic country in Africa is tribal by nature. The arrogation to oneself of being detribalized is moronic and buffoonery. If at any time you represented or identify with the ethnicity of your forbearers and yet abuse others for clinging to their tribal heritage, may incurable madness run in your lineage forever. |
I hope the moronic dingbats such as Jude Agbaso and Eze Madumere are banished from Owerre zone. |
ilugunboy: Dende...your are just an impossible old man.Illegitimate boy I do not give a ratazz if APC has a logo or not. What actually tickled my fancy is the intensity of diarrhea induced on you and ilk at hint of sudden collapse of APC. |
