byrron: were was logic when OBJ headed the petroleum ministry for 8years without a petroleum minister and was also the president at the same time, guess u were in Jupiter or planet Mars then.
we only had the GMD OF NNPC then so ur illogical logic theory is porous here.
are u aware that it is the president or governor that delegates responsibilities to their various deputies since they don't have any constitutional functions delegated to them to perform.
go an Google about the roles president GEJ delegated to VP SAMBO then u will be well informed and know that delegation of oversight functions is a reality and logical as well.
or are u a leaner?
?
The above post is one reason among many reasons Nigeria is in bad shape. If OBJ defecated in his pant, then it become imperative Imo State should do so. What a warped analogy. I guess the constitution that made provision for the offices of Vice President and Deputy Governor must provide functions for such offices.

It is inherent that people from your neck of wood defecate in their pants when they are frightened. Even sometimes, they take unnecessary flight. I know there is panic in the house of all ACN card holders.

babapupa: Exactly what amenities are you talking about or would like the state to provide before you clean up your place of business? Like brooms to sweep with?
The above post shows you have no business in this discussion. What is broom and sweeping got to do with a market such as Ladipo Market?
PoliticsRe: Fashola Visits Ladipo Market (Pictures) by Dede1(m): 4:55pm On Mar 04, 2013
ilugunboy: Dendefool....that is it! you are irredeemable, you've lost it here.

As long as they do business there..they owe it as a Primary duty of care to cater for the environmental well being of their location and don't need to wait for the govt to wipe them into line on such issue..

Am not going to help you out any longer...

You are just too stubborn like a typical Okoro man.
Illegitimate Olodo

It is unfortunate you have sworn not to learn. I have been around many market square in Yoruba land and never met a market square where traders, after the day’s activities, locked up the stalls and were expected to sweep and clean the market square. The Local Government Council staffs take care of sweeping and cleaning the market after a day’s activities.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Visits Ladipo Market (Pictures) by Dede1(m): 4:44pm On Mar 04, 2013
Are you absolving the Traders of any responsibility in this matter or what?! huh
There is not an issue of absolving party and indicting another, It is issue of shared responsibilities. If the Local Government that owned and operated the Ladipo Market did not provide the amenities to cater for the environmental eyesore everybody knows such entity like Ladipo will generate, it is humanly and morally wrong for the Fashola government of Lagos State to treat the traders as culprits in this matter. What has the Lagos State government of Fashola done to solve the environmental problems of Ladipo Market?
PoliticsRe: Fashola Visits Ladipo Market (Pictures) by Dede1(m): 4:27pm On Mar 04, 2013
ilugunboy: Dende..will you keep shut for once and listen to yourself?

I guess care-free attitude like yours can only find home with people like you. You come here to open your mouth to shout about how dirty and un-habitable Lagos has become due mainly to the unbridled influx of Ibos into Lagos on hourly basis without a care for the environment they reside and do business and now you expect them to be subjected to a different standard on environmental issues?

You are just pathetic !!

If Lagos is getting too hot for these people in Ladipo and elsewhere..let them relocate to your beautiful Alaigbo for goodness sake!

You want to be treated differently and subjected to a different environmental standards because you earn billions on daily basis? undecided

Foolish people huh huh
Illegitimate olodo

Boy, will you comport yourself to learn for a change? Market Square is not a complex of offices or manufacturing companies probably owned or operated by certain individuals. Again, it is sole responsibility of the Local Government Council to provide and manage environmental services required at Ladipo Market. Fashola is acting like a typical Yoruba peep on the corridor of power.

You are worse than being pathetic. From your warps stream of thoughts, Ndigbo do not own so-called complexes and companies in Lagos State.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Visits Ladipo Market (Pictures) by Dede1(m): 4:06pm On Mar 04, 2013
ilugunboy: According to the logic of our friends here ...you are completely wrong doing such.....just dump your waste any where and any how since you pay your taxes and levies...the govt must tidy up the place.
I am not surprised that a fellow with your intellect will embrace such ridiculous and warps analogy by hercules07. A third grader will easily discern that a complex or company owned by individual is on a different plateau with an open market square owned and operated by Local Government Area in Lagos State.

There is clause that says the owner of the certain entity has certain responsibilities and it is not limited to collection of rents and other levies, olodo.
PoliticsRe: Uba Appeals To Fashola To Re-open Ladipo Market by Dede1(m):
texazzpete: Next time you get caught by police for driving around during environmental sanitation hours, tell them you pay taxes and see where that excuse lands you.
Using your twisted logic, a tax paying company is well within its rights to dump waste material outside in plain sight because 'they pay taxes'.

Most of the time, these taxes don't even get anywhere near the Government.
It is unfortunate you will brand yourself as a cream of crops from Nigeria. What a warped analogy. I am not surprised that in your infinite wisdom you compared a market square owned and run by Local Government in Lagos State to a private company. Have you owned and operated a company in Nigeria?

Fashola’s Lagos State government should go after the owner’s of the market not traders for lack of environmental upkeep of the market square. The traders had done their part by paying all dues and levies to the government. The law surrounding a market square is different from the one that governors manufacturing or none manufacturing company.

Talking about police and environmental sanitation hours is hilarious. Did you not read about Nigeria being a piece of dirt in my previous post? It is only in a jungle such as Nigeria that citizens are harassed during the so-called environmental sanitation hours.
PoliticsRe: Police PR Ngozi Briade , Receives Query Over Public Fight With Superior Officer by Dede1(m): 3:25pm On Mar 04, 2013
ziddy: Fight allegedly occurred at Police College not Police HQ.
The article read that “fight allegedly took place at the Lagos State Police Command on January 18 during the surprise visit of President Jonathan to the Police College” Again, the intent of the article is rooted in the ambiguity or poor journalistic pedigree of Nigerian journalists.

It is unfathomable to believe that two senior police officer engaged in fist fights while the President of Nigeria is on inspection tour of their command. Whether the alleged fight took place at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters or Police College, it is against the regimental protocol for a junior officer to challenge a senior officer for parking space unless the space is designated for the junior officer due to regimental position held by the junior officer.

PoliticsRe: Fashola Visits Ladipo Market (Pictures) by Dede1(m): 2:37pm On Mar 04, 2013
The governor of Lagos State exemplifies the decadence rooted in Nigerian system of education. How could a person with a SAN appended to his moronic name only think of ban or closure of certain activities in the state?

There is not doubt Ladipo Market generates revenue to Lagos State government therefore it is incumbent on the government of Lagos State to provide certain services such as collection of thrash and ensure clean environment at the market square.

I hope Fashola does not plan to run the so-called Eko Atlantic City in the manner everything is run in Lagos State. Clinton will be disappointed if Fashola or future governor of Lagos State goes Ladipo Market on Eko Atlantic City. I am not a batter but I had hedged my wedge that the so-called Eko Atlantic City will go the way of Ajegunle.

It appears stupidity and madness run riots among certain ethnic group in Nigeria. From a common road trodden jackass such as ilugunboy who seemed lucky navigating to nairaland while spewing crap to the so-called SAN of governor of Lagos State are borderline imbec.iles.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Addresses British Parliament Tomorrow by Dede1(m):
kingoflag: The fact you threw in that last question shows that youre an id.iot! Have you ever staged a Palace coup? Ok, so how do you know I was not involved in that one? See how stu.pid this all looks now, right? All cus you decided to elongate your id.iocy to us instead of just stopping with the first statement. For your info, Ekwueme NEVER stood a chance to become Nigeria's President. I dont know where you kids get these dumb stories and who feeds them to you. If the Igbo man has no chance of smelling that seat in 2013 when the Hausas are at their weakest and most divided in 40yrs, how much more when they were strong as sh*it in 1983? Today the coup was because they wanted to scheme Ekwueme out, yesterday it was because Buhari wanted to conceal the fact that he'd looted NNPC dry to the tune of $2.3Billion. Listen here young boy, Ojukwu was the strongest and most popular Igbo man at the time, he couldnt even smell a Senatorial seat ...go check how many votes he got. Ekuweme ko, Ekwueme ni

Yall niggas better stop lying to urselves.
kingofool

I know you draw sustainable joy from your numerous and idiotic endeavors on this forum. Other than Ekwueme being an Igbo peep, can you proffer any other qualities that would militate against him from being the President of Nigeria? By the way, it is only a jackass will make political hay out of alleged Buhari’s address of British Parliament. Buhari is one of the numerous agents of British government in the cesspit called Nigeria.

It is brazenly apparent you are a dumbass nigga with a ghettoized upbringing.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Visits Ladipo Market (Pictures) by Dede1(m): 1:42pm On Mar 04, 2013
It is only in the jungle called Nigeria that responsibility of the government, with respect to market squares, is only to collect taxes. Where are the courts of the land? The traders pay their taxes and other levies so that government can provide the necessary amenities such as collection of wastes and clean environment.

At every freaking corner, moronic Nigerians keep wishing their stinking country can look like USA or other developed countries of the world but keep flunking the test at every opportunity to get few things right.

PoliticsRe: Uba Appeals To Fashola To Re-open Ladipo Market by Dede1(m): 1:00pm On Mar 04, 2013
Why Nigerians are barrenly articulate when faced with issues slightly tinted with tribalism? It is not the responsibilities of the traders to cleanup market square. The traders pay taxes, including the environmental fees, to the government. The failure to maintain proper environmental atmosphere at Ladipo Market rests on the shoulders of idiotic Fashola’s government of Lagos State.

It is unfortunate Nigeria is a piece of dirt where airheads tend to lead bunch of moronic ninnies.

Nigeria had operational Frigates during the era in discussion. And the last I checked though, Frigate is a class of warships.
