eagleonearth:All state for itself, speak about your state or do you belong or live in every state? Focus on your state, if you don't like a state policing system, stay in your state, you can advise your own state governor against it. You have no right to speak for other states. Mention your state and tell your governor that you don't want state police, you are not from every state. Your state can do without it, we need it in our states. |
Ezewuzie01:All state for itself, speak about your state or do you belong or live in every state? helinues:You seem to talk a lot, but seems you don't understand a thing about systems of government...first of all, your opinion is for you, you are insignificant, you can't decide for everyone, secondly,.you can't have regional government under a federal system, we had regional system before this federal system, hence regional government and federal system are two different forms of government. Thirdly in Nigeria, we all have been shouting we want our own country, true federalism is the closest to that, under true federalism all state are for themselves. You don't live in every state, focus on your state, that is your concern, if your state and other states in the region wants to cooperate, no one will stop you. I have seen that it is lazy People and states, parasitic states that are afraid of true federalism, you can't force people to deal with you or cooperate with you, so a state with its people can easily cooperate with themselves and come together to determine it's destiny...the reason we are calling for true federalism is so we save this nation from future violence. It's not about what you feel or what is in your myopic head, true federal structure allows for state police, if your state likes you can open your state for bandits. Stop speaking for everyone, speak for your state, that is your business. We want state police in our own states. People are dying and more government forces are required to beef up existing numbers, we need more good men with AK 47, this is why we are calling for state police, it's a necessity, it's about survival, people are dying and being kidnapped and raped daily, not about your little feelings. |
IamANigerianMan:Talk about your state, oversabi do you live in every state? It's not by force, if your state like it should leave itself unpoliced for bandits and kidnappers...talk about your state, that is your business. |
Modern day slavery...this is a shame, where you are not needed, leave. |
Is it your money? |
Because he is from the north like you, Na una way. |
Nigerian laws and judiciary are too lenient with killers, people kill for fun, in America you will be roasted on the chair. |
simpleseyi:Those were in barbaric times, we live in civilised times. What do most terrorists proffess now, what religion? |
True federalism is the only way to go... otherwise it implodes one day, let's not set up our children. State police, full resources control, and state laws to preserve it's security and progressive nature, are in order... |
mohbadliveson:But he is still culpable...an accessory is also guilty of the crime, we should stop absolving people of criminality and responsibility, it does the people no good. |
DeOTR:Absolutely |
rikithor:These governors are greedy, instead of using state funds and IGR to start state police, they are looking for money to stash and divert. Evil people. People are saying federal police is not good, that there is insecurity, that people are kidnapped and killed by terrorists, it's only necessary to have more officers out there with more automatic AK 47, to tackle terrorists, period. This is the issue. How can people want state police and still expect federal government to run it for them, Nigerians are clueless and quite unintelligent, they deserve the governors they have. |
Eriokanmi:No mind those lazy youths from lazy states, they say they want decentralisation and want their own control and autonomy, but state police is a way to decentralise power and lead to true federalism. Most Nigerians are always looking out for their myopic interests, but the issue is, state police for now is a necessity, people are dying, the clowns are thinking of politics. |
1) State police 2) Full resources control 3) Rights of states to make laws, to protect their culture, traditions, spirituality and heritage. States can remove trouble makers and extremists from their land. Everyone focus on your state, let's work according to the spirit of true federalism, the men who chose this system, realise our differences, hence we all can individually determine our individual destiny, without dragging anyone back. This fake brotherhood is not working, let's face reality, and do it right. |
IamANigerianMan:Are you in every state? You have no say in what happens everywhere, focus on your state, if your state don't want police, leave it like that, you have no right to speak for everybody. Everyone wants their independence, nobody trust anybody, stay on your own. In a federal system, states have rights to their own police, their own laws and resources... focus on your state, you are insignificant to speak for everybody. We are talking of survival from terrorists and bandits you are talking of politics...you need to survive first before you do politics. |
epainos:Very useless and a total waste those governors are. State police is supposed to be an inside business of states, but lazy Nigerians and their governors are waiting for Tinubu to start state police for them, later they will say president is controlling their state police. Nigerians are very clueless and quite unintelligent about things, in a federal system, a governor is like a president of his state, but these low minded Nigerians absolve their governors of any responsibility and are happy with the way their governors loot them, their own is to focus on Tinubu, when their governor should be their concern. Everyone should focus on their state. |
WorldRichest:How can state governors be so corrupt, lazy and inefficient, they are saying they can't start state police...are governors useless? Why then does each state have governors? Nigeria must really scrutinize the type of human beings they support to become governors of their state. State police is supposed to be a state issue, employing indigenes of your state to guard your state. You people will give up your rights and cry later. Very lazy irresponsible citizens and governors. |
Jaymats:In everything there is pros and cons, nothing is perfect, when you are kidnapped you will know the pros of state police outweigh the cons. Are you a politician, what is your business with those sinister men? Think about your survival and existence first, those herdsmen and terrorists are out to get you, we need state police to beef up number of good men with AK 47. You Nigerian youths must be objective or keep being easy targets to jihadists and kidnappers. It's not about what you think, it's about reality, state police is necessary and a right of state under federal structure, focus on your state and protest against it there, you have no business in issues of other states. Your state is your business in this federal system, you can allow herdsmen overrun it if you like. |
Arrest that brief man, he clearly broke cybercrime laws, he is not above the law, he has no immunity, Nigerian police act so weak when it comes to politicians. Politicians have no immunity or status in our constitution and politicians instigate our most serious problems...the police should do their job without fear. |
Bandits re holding sway, carrying AK 47 openly, being praised and idolized by kids, this is a dangerous trend, when kids are inspired by bandits and see them as heroes, because the state governors are so weak and inefficient, Mr President as commander in chief, this is an embarrassment on our security architecture...those bandits should have been tracked back and decimated. How can you sign a peace deal and those dumb terrorists still have their weapons? How on earth will any sane man think a terrorist who eat human beings will change? |
Young dumb, driven by primal instincts, low minded and low vibrational humans. |
They are the one delaying themselves lazy governors, always waiting to be fed. Start your state police who hold you, Tinubu have given the green light. |
After Fela, Sir Gani is the greatest Nigerian that ever lived... respect to the chairman of the struggle for justice, equity and good governance in democracy, Sir Gani Fawhenmi, saviour of his people. |
Move before something come move you, una go wise by force, always in mediocrity, joking with everything and sycophancy, make una continue. |
Respect to the NBA for this...this is what Nigerian youths should support and comment on. |
Hard man, hard man, dey harrass innocent people instead of to go face bokoharam, see how you disgrace yourself. |
Brilliant artiste |
