This is a travesty and very bad, thousands of soldiers, Nigerians died because of these terrorists, they need to pay for the crimes they committed. No nation in the world encourages criminality, no nation in the world release terrorists, once you are a terrorist, you have to pay for your crimes, either life imprisonment or death sentence. If government want to rehabilitate people, they should rehabilitate drug abuse offenders or minor offenders languishing in jails, not terrorists, these people will go back to kill and terrorise Nigerians, this is why terrorism persists. The people orchestrating these release needs to be investigated, this is very sinister and evil. This is a shame and a disgrace. |
Religious extremism or using religious laws instead of the state or nation's law or constitution breeds animosity, scare away visitors and investors, infact it gradually destroys a state. Don't allow a few bigots destroy your peace, to satisfy their own selfish motives, desires or ambitions. Wake up people, these bigots don't know what they are doing, they are being led, we must direct the nation and state aright as wise men, and not allow indoctrinated bigots lead us into the abyss. |

This is a disgrace to Nigerians, still using archaic laws. Is Nigeria a muslim or religious country? The last time I checked we are a secular country, this persecution of non muslims must stop. This clearly shows that Christians and non muslims are being persecuted in Nigeria, a Christian or non muslims is forced to live like a muslim in the north is the height of religious bigotry and extremism, southern Nigeria must come together take this matter to ICC, this is persecution on religious grounds. CAN must start behaving like muric and start fighting for Christians the way muric fight for muslims, southerners must become self centred as the northerners are, we must care only for southerners, fight for southerners only, Southern governors and Southern governors forum must behave like northern governors forum and care only for their southern indigenes. Southern governors must realise their allegiance and obligations is to their people not northerners or northern governors, we must behave selfish, and cunning just like them, to survive. Serve them what they serve us. If the North have laws, the South too should have laws, baning almajiris, baning northern beggars and nuisances patrolling the entire south. |
Stop this nonsense talk, they can make money by investing what they have made from oil, and from taxes. |
The aide is behaving like a typical sycophants, exposing Wike the more, not too smart. |
Lazy governors always lamenting. |
Babalola0920:One naira una no go see, you must pay us for all the southerners killed by jihadists extremists iswap, fulani herdsmen... |
Governor Monday do not give them one naira. North must pay for all the southerners killed in our forests by fulani herdsmen killers and northern/Sahel bandits, lurking in our forests. The governors of Northern states, head of fulanis, muric must call all their brothers to leave our forests. We need to get to the root issue...why are northerners passing Edo state with guns, and why are northerners kidnapping southerners in our forests, and why has the Fulani head not authorised all fulanis to leave forests of South as open grazing has been banned. Mr Monday don't give Edo state money to these people, let them compensate our land for all the blood spilled on it by their people. |
Good advisory, I endorse this. |
Nigerian government must learn from Israel, terrorists love virgins, send them to their virgins. |
Recycling terrorists again...the south should come together, we need to find a way to agree, do referendum and insist on regional government. North is a big burden to us, our southern oil money is used to fight these terrorists and when we capture them, these people release them. |
State police now. Governors and state house of assemblies don't be sellouts to your people, protect your people with automatic guns to protect themselves, federal government can not reach everyone, use your sense. |
He is a suspect for sure. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Jesus didn't bring religion, he brought spirituality... Jesus frowned at organised religion, that's why he was always attacking the scribes, and the Pharisees who were the leaders of the Jewish religious establishment, Jesus saw the hypocrisy of organised religion. Christian as a religion was started by Constantinople, a Roman leader. |
But they like to share alcohol VAT, phoney, hypocrites. |
The judiciary must rise up and be counted, this is the time for Nigeria judiciary to show it's righteousness. |
We must rally round to ensure he is back home |
He is a criminal, he wants to get in and loot them. |
1bunne4lif:I said connect mumu, must it pass through your village. Tribal monkey...go an learn comprehension, if you cut off from the highway on South South, won't you connect southeast, southeast is landlocked, it's a coastal road. Is that why you clowns are angry? Must everything benefit you personally? Bad mind destroys. |
PlasmaTV:Your statement about other roads being bad and this one being constructed is senseless, millions that live along that corridor appreciate the road, it saves travel time and reduce cost of travel, this is a new road, we never had a road that connects Nigeria so easy, I pray the road finishes timely, it will boost economic drive and movement...and it's a safer road to travel on. The road is not for North, it connects vi to Epe, connect Lagos to South South and southeast, the road benefits all. Try to talk with sense, even though you think the road has no benefit for you, it has benefit for millions of Nigerians, don't always be myopic. |
PlasmaTV:Your statement about roads being bad and this road being constructed makes no sense, this is a new route, a road that saves travel time, and connect south, east, North on a straight line...the governors with so much money should be fixing those roads that passes through their states. |
Nigeria should be manipulating West African markets, at least. |
Jlow2:We have self centred politicians who only care about their pockets and party supremacy. The people must react. |
Peter Obi is same as them. Sowore for president. |
All states should conduct legislative business in local dialect. |
ObosiLandlord:I observed it too, it surely will, economic principles are constant. Less demand for dollars by Nigeria and Nigerians in Nigeria, will reduce it's value to the naira. There is a difference between earning dollars and buying it to pay for goods and services, earning it is better. |
AmiableMosquito:Government should focus on home production, the more we refine here, the more value we are adding, this creates jobs and taxes for government, as well as boost local economy, if we refine locally, the price will be lower for Nigerians, low fuel price enhances economic activities and ease of life for Nigerians ...more small businesses, more transactions, more production etc...government should focus on reducing prices of basic things, food, housing, fuel, electricity, so Nigerians have more disposal income, this stimulates the economy due to ability to spend. |
This is the age of nationalism, globalisation is over. We must stop using dollars as a benchmark currency for international trade, we must pursue trade agreements that allow us pay in naira...and most importantly, we must pursue value addition of our raw materials. Governors should invest state resources in viable businesses, managed by private professional firms, a type of public/private partnership, this is a good way for states to increase IGR. We don't always have to wait for people to buy our raw materials, or come to invest, States, with their huge allocations revenue, can invest in big viable businesses and investments, as ways to increase IGR...and we can harness our raw materials, add value and sell the finished product in Nigeria and within African nations/europe/asia |
Anything that will reduce our use or demand for dollars as a nation and people must be pursued. The currency value issue is one of the key reasons so many Nigerians are poor, because the naira they are earning has no value, can't compete. This government must go into trade agreements with nations so we buy and sell and render services to each other, using individual local currencies, this will also boost the value of naira, as it will be in circulation in the international market, as well as reduce our demand for dollars. It's all about demand and supply determining price, and balance of payments, in international trade...we know these principles we must apply them. Nigeria is a sovereign nation, and must work for the prosperity of its people, we must invoke the spirit of nationalism, this is what the whole world is practising now, let's not be left behind. |
Lastma and road safety need to focus on these big trailers. |
LP Na wash, their representatives in house of assembly and senate have not sponsored any reasonable bill that will tackle insecurity or poverty among the masses. Sowore for president. |
