hairyman: Have we all forgotten the ghana must go saga, I have read through all these comments but saw none. What a country sows it must reap. Nigeria sowed intolerance back then ang ghana cannot be expected to do otherwise. Its a great pity though. But fellow Nigerians tell me something, are you really happy about the chinese and the lebanese running almost all major enterprises in naija, 'invading' us if I may quote some ops. Ghananians are workig against that, as almost all developed countries are protrotecting their economy. Actually, it. Is naija that needs to change not ghana...take a look at both countries and decide for yourself.
YOU ARE AN IGNORAMUS,GHANIANS STARTED DISCRIMINATING AGAINST NIGERIANS BACK THEN BEFORE WE HIT BACK-NAIJA DIDNT THROW THE FIRST PUNCH-YOU DUMB UNPATRIOTIC IGNORAMUS.

CrimeRe: Teen Stripped And Whipped By Thugs In New-Jersey. by dederocs(m): 12:30pm On Feb 14, 2013
Van snickers:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h9KKJgwaH0

A graphic video appears to show a teenager forcibly stripped naked and repeatedly whipped while a group heckled and cursed at him -- all because of a $20 debt.

The video (below) was uploaded to YouTube on Thursday has received almost 40,000 views. And Newark, N.J. authorities are up in arms.

Police are now searching for the victim and assailants in attack, The Star-Ledger reported.

In the disturbing two-minute scene, a man screams, "Where my money at?" at a naked boy on a public street. The hunched-over victim responds, "I don't know," before he is ruthlessly beat with a belt.

For the 90-second whipping, a small crowd laughs, yells obscenities, and tells the victim to say it's a "dog eat dog world" to the camera.

In the end of the video, one of the bystanders reveals that the debt -- apparently owed by the victim's father -- is 20 bucks.

"The perpetrator as well as those who stood idly by laughing and videotaping this act of savage brutality should be brought to justice," said Newark City Council President Anibal Ramos.

Newark Police Director Samuel DeMaio told the Star-Ledger investigators might know where the attack took place.

He also said police know that two Twitter handles were instrumental in making the video viral.

If caught, the assailants will most likely be charged with aggravated assault.

The act of videotaping crimes is no anomaly.

In early February, two high school students were arrested after footage of them brutally attacking a classmate was posted to Facebook.

Last October, a daughter posted a seven-minute YouTube video of her father, a family law judge, beating her. The latter received more than 7 million views.

mechummy: For the way you changed my plans For being the perfect distraction For the way you took the idea that I had Of everything that I wanted to have, Made me see there was something missing. For the end and the new start For the rare and unexpected friend For the fact you're something that I never choose But at the same time something I don't wanna lose And never want to be without ever again... You're the best thing I never knew I needed... Then u appeared, I had no idea You're the best thing I never knew I needed... But now it's so clear I needed you here always. My accidental happily ever after, The way you smile and how you comfort me With a laughter I must admit you were never part of my book But that you are and I take a look You're the beginning and the end of every chapter. Who knew that I could be so happy? So unexpectedly. I'm undeniably happy with you by my side. NOW it's so clear I needed you here ALWAYS.
u re the finest girl i ave seen on here,u got a real good head too.nice poem. smiley

merciie: Forgive me if am wrong, but am basing my conclusion on what I and a few of my girlfriends have observed and experienced.
Guys have now turned gold diggers! The moment they get to know that this girl is working and they have a vague idea as to how much she earns, they come serenading and shamelessly proposing, it’s like the tables have turned, and guys want to settle with a lady who is comfortable and can take care of herself (and him too) .
I cant count the number of ‘suitors” I have had since I got this job…before y’all crucify me n call me a sugar mummy, am in my mid-twenties.
dont get deluded and thinking your little change is money-and do not let your little change rob you of happinness.how much money do you have to make you think its what makes a responsible guy go after you.only dummies do such,or do you have up to half a million dollars?
RomanceRe: Romance And Social Class by dederocs(m): 4:01pm On Feb 13, 2013
HR.hotness:
I think people are getting carried away

Social class is not determined purely material things,
other things such as breeding and grooming comes into play,
also education, family background, manners and refinement, language, aspiration and taste,,,

I definitely cannot marry below my social class, like someone mentioned earlier I aim to progress in life.
Of course i definately will marry someone who has worked himself into a higher social class (i don't mean in terms of income),after all i wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth and have worked hard to get to where i am today.

Every man should work towards attaining a better life and stop making stupid excuses
I'm not talking about money,,, i value manners and class over money
shut the Bleep up,bitches like u only see money-dumb bitch

tRoOE: Am sorry oh but I can't not date/marry anyone below my level. My future plan is to proceed forward not backwards wink
I need a man that can take good care of his woman, not a man that can not afford to eat 3 square meals for himself
A real man that isn't afraid to spend on his lady once in a while, show me a good time and i will surely do the same for him kiss kiss
sister no mind them, after all you suffer...kpaki mentality no good.hussle hard.
RomanceRe: Romance And Social Class by dederocs(m): 3:52pm On Feb 13, 2013
TopBooty: Why do most ladies feel belittled and reluctant  to date a man who belongs to a social class lower than theirs but guys don't have a problem doing the same as long as the girl in question is lovely? Could it be that women are more  picky and materialistic than men? Do you think that social class should balance averagely for two people to have a successful relationship?

In Nigeria, ' abeg go find your level' is a slogan frequently used by more women than men when it comes  to relationships. Am I wrong?
thats cos Nigerian women are very vain, myopic and dumb-when they have like 5million naira(50,000usd),dem go think say dem don become JLO-its a shame, and funny enough-most guys dont give a Bleep about their money or status.its irritating and it shows a village mentality. cool
FamilyRe: I Am Craving For A Passionate Marital Relationship by dederocs(m): 3:45pm On Feb 13, 2013
Kobojunkie: I will say this, the story told by this @OP is typical. People get into marriage EXPECTING this and that, not realizing that marriage does not come with guarantees of any kind. You have to be willing to bend and stretch yourself as much as is necessary to get what you need/want and to maintain the relationship.

My advice to woman going through similar situation as described by the @OP, and those who are depressed with thoughts of this kind about their marriage, is that they look inwards to find ways they can change their own desires and wants to suit their marital situation. If you are a lust-monkey under covers and your husband turns out not to be the romantic hunk you expected, why not adapt? Humans are built to do just that . . . yes it is unfortunate but reality is marriage is what it is . . . a transaction with no guarantees, and no refunds. So either you adapt to accommodate what you end up with or you walk out and go look for what you need elsewhere. No need whining, and certainly NO ONE-SOLUTION for all cases.

I feel I need to stress the NO ONE-SOLUTION message when it comes to marriage. No matter how sexy you become or already are, you are not guaranteed that you will have the best sex in your marriage or that you will not be abandoned at the end of the day. No matter how much "take charging" you do in a relationship, you are not guaranteed that the feelings will be returned. No matter how much you try to push a man into bed, if he is not interested, he is not interested. No matter how much you try to make a sloppy women into a clean-freak, if she is not meant to be a clean-freak, she will not be. So, this is why I preach that people who are married learn, to accept their partners AS-IS. As @OP explained, what she expected is not what she got. That does not say @OP cannot then move on to accept the reality she now has, and work towards a solution knowing this.
is this not suffering and smiling?

IslamRe: Muslim Couple's Children Handed To Christian Parents Based on Suspicion by dederocs(m): 3:32pm On Feb 13, 2013
BetaThings: Based on mere suspicion, people are deprived of their right as parents
The only adoptive parents they could find were those likely to put hatred of their parents religion in their minds

Some issues
This people never gave up the children up for adoption
They were under suspicion because their child died due to an ailment. This is enough jeopardy
Then 3 other children are taken from them. A woman labours to carry a baby for 9 months, the baby dies because of ill health and the a total stranger steps in and takes away the remaining 3 (THREE) children

says "what we have been through". Really?
how? were you forced to adopt?

what about the person who gave birth to the children? They could not have access, they were under suspicion for homicide while mourning!
People are really very very selfish!
The adoptive parent knew the biological parents were alive and were working to clear their name and then decided to adopt the children and turn them against the religion of the biological parents
She spared no thought for the family - what could happen if the parents were later found innocent!
Or perhaps to avoid the parents having a normal relationship (if the parents are found innocent) with children, this peculiar adoptive re-orientation process was engineered
For the parents to end their old life in misery!!!
She believes adopting all the 3 children from one family in a manner that estranges the parents from the children is commendable
The parents should be thankful that their children are now practising a religion that the parents believe will not lead the children to Jannah!!!

These loving Christians parents would never accept this if the story had happened in reverse
At least they would not be thanking the people who contrived to deprive them of being comforted (for the loss of that child) through the reunion of the other children
If this happened to a christian from the West living in a muslim country, it would be on CNN for months
big lie,not all news gets to CNN.
