RomanceRe: 3 Things You Should NEVER Do For A Man! by dederocs(m): 4:09pm On Feb 08, 2013
P4VS20: I would say this is a receipe to create more lonely ladies.. serious.

this is the 21st century. no one has time for bullshit. its not a guy's JOB to pursue any lady, dont get it twisted. because we re showing affections and how much we care by calling, by buying gifts and all doesnt mean its our JOB to. we do it cause we think you are worth it. the moment you start thinking its our JOB, you just crossed the line. you are now ungrateful and unappreciative. if you think its our JOB, whats your JOB then? anyone who chases you is after something, better run fast. sides why is it called "women" that is WOO-MEN. so if its like that, y'all should start living your name and woo men. lol.....i believe if you cant chase me, sorry, i cant pursue you., it takes two to tango.

havent you guys learnt something yet? when some of you allow some of us to chase you, you turn it into a conquest, and when you finally give the price away, we loose sight of its worth. and then we look for another conquest. we can even chase 5 of you at thesame time and go with who ever says yes first. why cos while you re thinking you re adding value by running, we re thinkin you re loosing value by running cos you re just wasting time and time is a valuable resource, thus making you very wasteful. lol. so while you thinking you re running, remember there re 4 others just like you and naa first to stop win.

if you cant call and initiate a conversion, it simply means this: you re boring, you have nothing to say, so why should i waste my time calling you. if you cant stay in touch, you fall out of touch, who cares.

its not his JOB to ask you out. if you wanna go out, wetin do your mouth, why not ask.

some ladies should learn to STEP-UP abeg. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING, DONT WAIT FOR IT, GO AFTER IT. after all when we want something, we go after it.

simply put, if you re interested in the guy, dont waste his time. if you re not interested, dont waste his time. if you waste another's time, yours will be wasted.
no mind dat local girl, wey international girls dey everywhere dey give it up.nice post.

RomanceRe: Is Age Really Important In A Relationship? by dederocs(m): 2:48pm On Feb 08, 2013
Thagodfada: well to tell you the truth, i used to think it wasn't but i found out a few months ago that it is.

For Nigerian women, age is a huge thing. Some of them would not want to date anyone younger. Plus the fact that it has been shown that women develop much more faster emotionally than men. So if a woman is dating a guy 3-5yrs older than her, they are probably at the same stage emotional maturity.
So if a girl is going out with a much younger guy, she has the advantage of being more emotionally matured.

But i think all that is bullcrap. People should be able to date regardless of age. But a guy should only marry a girl younger than he is. Word to the wise grin
utter crap,it is not in all cases.

zoelife: Been worried lately over this issue. He's a great guy, loving, kind and all. Yet time and time again the issue comes up if I'm still with him, or if there's someone somewhere who's probably doing better than him. Getting a little worked up over things I call 'trivial' like not knowing my friends(I'm not a crowd person. My friends are mostly married women. Or guys. That's me),etc.
Not that he's being unpleasant, but the thing here is, I'm wat u cld call an 'alpha female'. Ambitious, driven and visionary. These I think give him the 'not good enuff' feeling, plus the fact dat he's still a beginner(I'm not yet there either). Whenever he expresses such feelings, I feel him too and attimes wonder to myself, if truly there's someone better for me out there. I dunno.

Fatdon: Four distributors of Pornographic materials were arrested at Cele Bus Stop on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway on Tuesday by the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit after the police raided the area. Those arrested will be arraigned before the Special Offences Court at the taskforce yard and prosecuted for selling obscene materials.

The sellers of the X-rated materials arrested are Yinka Dada, 25 years; Udoh Nne, 29 years; Sylvester Obodoe, 18 years and Poopola Bamidele, 18 years.

The culprits admitted that they knew hawking Pornographic materials is prohibited in any part of the state. 18-year-old Obodoe said he knew the act was outlawed in the state but resorted to hawking P0*nographic materials to eke out a living.

He however pleaded for mercy and promised not to violate the law again.

According to the Taskforce Chairman, Bayo Sulaiman, there had been complaints by residents of the resurgence of Pornographic materials on the streets of Lagos, and so the taskforce took action on the complaints.

He reiterated that the government has banned the selling or distribution of such materials because of the negative influence they have on children, and therefore warned that anyone caught in the act will face the wrath of the law.

PoliticsRe: What Do We Get To Enjoy As Nigerians? by dederocs(m): 5:57pm On Feb 05, 2013
fboycaestro: Ibn Khaldun & Emile Durkheim both shared the same view that religion serves as a unifying factor in any society I.e Religion is a great binding force that brings people closer in any society. But reverse is the case in Nigeria because religion is on its deathbed.

One other thing that unites the masses in Nigeria is football but it baffles me when our dear government couldn't pay for the TV rights to bring ongoing AFCON 2013 to our homes, reason been that the fee LC2 requested was too outrageous but permit me to say the fee won't be outrageous If its to be siphoned.

The FG has stopped paying for subsidy fee over a year and the deal was that the money used in paying for subsidy could be channeled elsewhere, ever since there have been hike in fuel prices, increment in transport fares, increment in tuition fees, increment in prices of goods & services e.t.c

The question that comes to mind is what then do we set to enjoy as Nigerians?Things going from bad to worse....Arrghh
its pathetic,only politicians benefit.
IslamRe: We Are Losing Our Identity To The Arabs by dederocs(m): 5:29pm On Feb 05, 2013
justaqad: Asalam Alaykum.

Islam is a religion not just to he Arabs but to the whole world,Simply by saying 'there is no god apart from God.

God bears witness that there is no other god besides Him, and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge."(Verse 3:18)

there is a trend among Muslims which i find not just disturbing but wrong.muslims are submitters to the will of Allah not to the will of Arabs.
we are loosing our identity to the Arabs.the essence of naming is for Identity.when i hear the name Chidi,i know he is Igbo by tribe.but it would be difficult to tell whether Gafar that resides in Oshodi is yoruba, igbo, hausa or Arab.
i fear we are loosing our cultural heritage to the Arabs.i beg to differ there is no such thing as Islamic name.i am not saying Arabic names are bad,but we ought not loose our identity.
i grew up with an Arabic name as my first name, whenever i say my first name, people start asking are you Hausa?it will take me me some seconds to introduce my self.i have since adopted my tribal name as my first, arabic second.
i am proud of my race,i am proud to be called Yoruba.i am not loosing it,not for anything.

Masalam
thank you so much...Allah can not be wrong to make us come from Africa...this should come first
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Among Al-Qaeda Fighters' Arrested In Mali by dederocs(m): 2:59pm On Feb 05, 2013
Leorichy: Malian forces have arrested eight suspected al-Qaeda-linked fighters in northern Mali.

Their capture comes as French fighter jets targeted rebel hideouts and fuel depots in the northeastern desert on Tuesday, near the Algerian border.

The eight suspects captured in Gao are expected to be transferred to Bamako where they will eventually stand trial. They include six Malians, a Nigerian and an Algerian man.

Meanwhile, delegations from the African Union, United Nations, European Union, West African regional body ECOWAS, banks and aid groups have been meeting in Brussels on Tuesday to discuss the country's future.
In-depth coverage of intensifying confrontation in north

After a three-week military campaign by French-led forces drove the rebels from most of their strongholds, including the cities of Timbuktu and Gao, dozens of French warplanes on Sunday carried out major air strikes on rebel training and logistics centres in Mali's mountainous northeast, near the Algerian border.

"It is about destroying their rear bases, their depots," Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius told France Inter radio.

"They have taken refuge in the north and the northeast but they can only stay there long-term if they have ways to replenish their supplies."

Fabius said that the army aimed to stop the rebels from doing so by targeting them in a very "efficient" manner.

The al-Qaeda-linked rebels who controlled northern Mali for 10 months have fled into the Adrar des Ifoghas massif in the Kidal region, a mountainous landscape honeycombed with caves.

They are believed to be holding seven French hostages with them, kidnapped in Mali and Niger in 2011 and 2012.

Algeria on Monday also beefed up its positions on the Malian border to prevent "the infiltration of terrorist groups", Mohamed Baba Ali, a member of parliament from the southern town of Tamanrasset, told the AFP news agency.

gluv01: Majek Fashek is suffering from Schizophrenia according to the doctors taking care of him and his condition is getting really bad. Since he disappeared over the holidays and reappeared in January, he has been uncontrollable. People close to him said he overdid the drugs this time around and his mental illness has deteriorated seriously. People around his neighborhood in Gowon Estate Ipaja now avoid him like a plaque. He walks around talking to himself and sometimes sits at a bus stop around his area playing his guitar while little kids make fun of him. To stop him from roaming around, and maybe hurting himself, sometimes people who care for him chain him at his Ipaja home, especially when he gets really out of control.

Hope he gets serious help before it's too late. Such a sorry situation.

PoliticsRe: MASSOB Introduces ‘biafran Income Tax’ by dederocs(m): 3:25pm On Feb 04, 2013
geeez: The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday said it will start collecting Biafran Income Tax from Ndigbo, beginning from February 16, 2013.

The new move by MASSOB was contained in a statement sent to National Mirror by its Director of Information, Comrade Uchenna Madu.

This development was coming at a time when MASSOB is predicting that Nigeria will disintegrate and cease to be a country at the end of 2014.

In the said statement, Madu said the introduction of 2013 Biafran income tax by their leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, was part of the ongoing consolidation of MASSOB’s government structures and diplomatic relations.

Shedding light on the extent they will go in collecting the tax, Madu said; “The collection of 2013 Biafran income tax will commence on February 16, throughout Biafra and Nigeria, where Biafrans reside, it is a mandatory tax, it is a mark of respect and honour to Biafra, a mandatory obligation for all Biafrans.”

He said for now, MASSOB as a genuine organisation has been busy establishing Biafran government, through the creation of regional structures and consolidation of diplomatic relations.

The director of information, who said that consistency is always their watchword, assured that as Biafrans that they shall never relent in their struggle or be discouraged by the waves of distraction around them.

Speaking to National Mirror on the issue of who will collect the tax on their behalf, Madu said; “Our security will go out to collect it, they will go to the markets and streets, in public places and other relevant places to collect the tax, our people are willing to pay, very willing, we have been announcing it and the response from people have been encouraging.”

The MASSOB spokesman urged the people to lend their support to the group, because Biafra is around the corner. He predicted that Biafra will bring the comfort and consolation seriously needed by every Igbo man.

Madu, who was full of optimism when he spoke to our Correspondent, said they don’t for see a clampdown from security agents, because what they are doing now does not concern them, stressing that they will not be deterred if the government starts to harass MASSOB agents again.

Sounding optimistic, Comrade Madu continued, “Government will never interfere, they won’t, this is about the people, government can never stop Ndigbo from paying Biafran tax, this is purely an income.”

He said they have now introduced the income tax, since the struggle is reaching its climax, when the organisation is putting in place government structures.

Speaking on when they hope to achieve their major objective of an independent and free Biafran state, Madu, who contended that they have no fixed time-frame for the realisation of their goal, however, maintained that Nigeria can break up any moment from now.

“That CIA prediction is certain, anything beyond 2014, Nigeria is living on expired ground, because, there will be no more anchor to hold Nigeria,” Madu said.

http://nationalmirroronline.net/new/massob-introduces-biafran-income-tax/
the prediction that Nigeria will disintegrate did not come from CIA,independent political analyst made that prediction. This man is just an opportunists-it will be foolish for ibos to allow this swindler lead them to great perils
