I noticed the Recruitment personnel filled wrong code. The right ought to be 1181: health services and public health managers and directors.

Consequently, I informed the recruitment personnel but I was told that I am still entitled to healthcare visa despite filling the code as 4161 Office managers.

The job description matches Healthcare but just this code is the major problem.

Right now, I'm confused on what to do. More so, I don't have such huge amount to pay for skill worker visa.

The recruitment manager is making things so difficult for me. He also refused my request that maintenance should be tick Yes.

My question is that "can i apply for health and care visa, then include my observation of wrong code in my remark while submitting my visa application because I have a mail evidence that HR told me that I'm eligible for Health and care visa.

they need to issue a new COS with the right code. are you inside or outside UK?

Please I need your input

I got a job as a Senior Administrator/Medical Secretary in one of the NHS Trust. In my COS, the code was (4161 Office managers).

Can I apply for HEALTH AND CARE VISA since?
No. Yours is a skilled worker visa.

Is there hope for those waiting for COS, especially Defined COS?
is the Home office intentionally withholding from allocating COS, to start issuing after 11th March?
Travel / Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by Dee2016: 2:14pm On Feb 14
The employer emailed them letting them know that she has applied for the Defined COS and it would take longer.
Though I didn't get the request number, I also emailed them to give her time to get it. I hope this works.
Uzland:

Hi Dee2016, your employer should withdraw the wrong CoS and apply for the right one immediately. Once they've applied for a new one, they should let you know the request number for this. You'll need to send this and evidence (screenshots) of your email conversations with your employer to DMC before the deadline. DMC are part of the UKVI and so know too well that a new CoS issuance takes time. DMC will give you time till you receive your new CoS and inform them of the new CoS reference number. Cheers.👍🏾

My employer got this, can anyone suggest what to do considering the delays with issuing new COS?

The UK Decision Making Centre is currently assessing the application submitted by the above named. We are unable to conclude the application at this time as we require additional information.

I note that C2G4xxxxxx is a Skilled Worker (Changes of Employment - ISC liable) [A rating] CoS and not a “Defined” CoS that is required for an application for Entry Clearance.

Please provide the following documents:

* Can you please allocate a defined CoS to the above applicant. When this has been actioned can you please notify us of the defined CoS reference number.

Please provide the new CoS reference number within 10 working days to worksponsoreddocumentrequests@homeoffice.gov.uk quoting your application reference in the subject line.

For any query’s regarding the defined CoS process please email DefinedCoS@homeoffice.gov.uk who will be able to assist you further.

Kind Regards,

Is it right for an employer to include in your work contact that after you have left the company you cannot work for a competitor or a company that provides similar services 6 months after you leave?

Visa Alert!!!
Hehehe I've longed to type this since I discovered Nairaland in September 2020 when my husband was waiting for his second canadian visa application which he got a refusal. I was a strong follower of the Canada students thread.
I am from Kenya and I told myself wherever Nigerians are going we will go. That's how we started our journey for UK Student visa which never went far as we didn't have the amount required in bank statement.
My second option was to apply for Skilled visa which actually should have been my 1st option.
I did blind application to companies that were offering sponsorship and I got an offer and a CoS.
Timeline.

Visa Application 12/1/2022
Visa type; Skilled worker HAC.
Biometrics 14/1/2022
Tls email 26/1/2022
DHL collection 27/1/2022.
All info was gotten from this thread and less from UKVO.gov website. Truly go through the pages, you won't miss any details.
Thank you Nigerians, we did it!!!

And to the famous quote which I couldn't wait to write
"What God cannot do doesn't exist!"

For NARRIC it's pretty straight forward from the website. I also used the link from this place. The need your degree, all transcripts and a letter of medium of instruction from your university. You will see where to attach all those. My degree was given level C1, came after 4 working days, standard.

If you have migrated, I don't see where you pay that money for another employer. If you were to switch jobs then your experience is a propelling factor. You're there already. Period.
I am still in Africa

For every worker that an organisation is sponsoring, they need to pay a skills charge to get you a COS (GBP 2,019 as in your case), which is quite a lot of money for them. So they are basically saying that, if you can afford to pay the money yourself, in addition to other cost of processing your visa, they can give you the job and process your COS. If not, they are not willing to make such a huge financial commitment to sponsor you to the UK. I hope I'm making sense?

Does this mean that if I pay for the 5 year Visa to this employer I wont have to pay any other employer the Immigration skills charge for the 5 years?

Can I open a bank account and deposit cash to the account and use it for visa application after the 28 days? Or it will raise eyebrows?
