SportsRe: 2026 World Cup: Nigeria Reveals Why DR Congo Won’t Escape FIFA Sanction by Dee60: 10:26pm On Dec 20, 2025
Nifemy4:
You will be sleeping on a bike if you think anything good will come out of this .
NFF is the most embarrassing entity in this country after the police force .
You are holding onto the pillar of players ineligibility as tho , Congo hired angels to play the match and not mere under experienced and exposed players compared to super eagles who all play in big club in Europe.
It’s shameful now that you need to search for weak loopholes that are non existent

FIFA will trash this like a paper tissue , cos the case is weak and boring .
Very boring.
FamilyRe: Why Most Women Stay In Abusive Marriages In Nigeria, The Dark Psychology!!! by Dee60: 11:21am On Dec 20, 2025
Wait a minute.
FamilyRe: Why Most Women Stay In Abusive Marriages In Nigeria, The Dark Psychology!!! by Dee60:
Divorce is not the answer. Premarital counselling and education should be emphasised. Men are also sometimes on the receiving end, mind you! Yes, some cases are bad but there are others that are redeemable.

There is a movement that seems to encourage couples to part once they think they are 'irreconcilable'. Young couples these days don't even stay one year before buying the advice to quickly seek Divorce. Soon, the society will be filled with children with no fathers. That doesn't help. Don't listen to naysayers and people who already feel that marriage is bad before they even go into it.

If it becomes abusive, first seek counselling and make reports. Separation or divorce should not be the first option as some want to preach these days.

Funny enough, efcc said they have not received petition to that effect.

The question is: Must they wait until they received a petition before they act for the public good?
I presume that is why Dangote is going public with the allegations. They would have frustrated every attempt he has made to speak privately.

Be happy that they only stole a phone. Have you not read that 45 girls were stolen from their school yesterday?Even with DSS Inteligence and security, the stealing still took place! Nigeria. We need national repentance both at leadership and followership levels. The people who stole this lady's phone too will be criticising Tinubu!

Military will not do anything. They are a disciplined force and they follow lines of command. Respect begets respect. If not for the military Nigeria perhaps may have been renamed BH-Land. Civilians should learn to give them the honour they deserve. Yes, some military people may be brash, but that does not represent them all.

The military and other security agencies are creatures of constitution and are bound to obey constituted authority where it's needed. Because military has been dabbling into politics through brutal force for many years and mostly in Africa have made us to believe they are above the law.
What constitutional provision has been broken here? Can a minister walk into any property just like that and claim it is 'illegal'? Dont we have due processes? I dont know the CNS and for crying out loud, will he just wake up one day and start building without documents and without permit? If that is the case, dont we have courts?

Not like i am in support of what wike did but do you know that this supposed senior officer that gave the order is retired?
A retired general has officers assigned to work for him for life. Is it a joke to be called a general?
PoliticsRe: Osita Chidoka: Wike Should Apologise To The Naval Officer by Dee60: 10:58pm On Nov 11, 2025
kinguwem:
It's sad that we encourage lawlessness in this country & expect the country to progress. A commissioned Naval officer has better responsibilities than standing as a security man in an undeveloped property of a former CNS. Soldiers should concentrate on their duties of defending the country from external aggression instead of interrupting pubic officers from during their jobs.
A former CNS has officers assigned to him for life! That is how it is. His job is to work for his boss until he is redeployed. He has to business doing anything other than what he assigned by his boss. Dont blame him. he was doing his job.
PoliticsRe: Osita Chidoka: Wike Should Apologise To The Naval Officer by Dee60: 10:55pm On Nov 11, 2025
The minister may have a right to demand for documents as proof of ownership of a land but he cannot just be walking around harassing people anyhow. Who says the development is illegal? The government through the minister should show his proof! If Wike was told that a retired COAS is tresspassing, there are avenues to seek redress - through the courts or through the C-in-C. Going there with hoardes of cameramen is grandstanding. I cant speak about the officer. Actually, an officer assigned to an ex CNS is more like his personal staff. He follows his chain of command. After duly introducing himself and also assuring the minister that the development is legal, the minister should just have taken up the matter with his boss and not join issues with an officer on assignment. And the he started calling him a big fool! That is disrespect to the military. It is unwarranted.

PoliticsRe: The World Must Stand Up Against Christian Genocide In Nigeria - US Congresswoman by Dee60: 9:15am On Oct 27, 2025
courage89:
All these negative, fabricated stories needs to be repudiated by all Nigerians. When their true goals, objectives begin to manifest, it’s not only the north, or Muslim that will feel the impact, it’s the whole Nigeria. Christians, children, elderly, Igbo, Yoruba… pretty much everybody.

American politicians are drumming the war of sanctions that will cripple Nigerians again: cause chaos in the country to destabilize and paralyze our economic activities, create high inflationary environment leading to unending devaluation and increase poverty in the land.

They want to create chaos in the land, similar to what’s going in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), for them to have unfettered access to our natural resources, rare earth metals.

This is where all Nigerians needs to come together in respective of political affiliation, religion and tribal affiliation and push back on this false narrative.
What false narrative? Why cant the government show with seriousness that they are ready to stop the killing of innocent people around the country? How can it be that our trained military cannot shop ragtag soldies operating in forests in more than 15 years that they started the charade? Which governemnt pardons 'repentant' terrorists and integrates them into our security? We even read of reports that some may be sent abroad.
PoliticsRe: The World Must Stand Up Against Christian Genocide In Nigeria - US Congresswoman by Dee60: 9:09am On Oct 27, 2025
Savenigeria2023:
Now you want all Nigerians to jointly repudiate the narrative. Since when did Nigerians start acting jointly?

When it’s time for election, we remember we belong to an ethnic group

When Tinubu chose a Muslim-muslim ticket, even popular Christian pastors backed the ticket at the expense of their Christian congregation due to ethnic sentiments without minding the global optics

Where every event, policy and news is analyzed with ethnic coloration

Nigeria is bound to be Balkanized either by external forces or internal implosion. No nation survives the level of internal division that exists in the country as willing hands abound to support the enemy. The country has been irredeemably damaged by evil politicians.
I wonder o. They are not calling all Nigerians to stand against incessant killing of innocent people. They are instead asking us to stand against the US for ponting out the killings in Nigeria.

The data below exposed the poor mental and financial thinking of the Tinubu critics....

Ghana debt = $50billion
Ghana population = 35million
Ghana debt per person = $1,430

South Africa Debt = 300billion
Population - 55million
Debt per person - $5,454

Qatar debt - $93billion
Population - 3million
Debt per person - $31,000

Libya debt - $60billion
Population - 7million
Debt per person -$8,750

Saudi Arabia - $391billion
Population - 54million
Debt per person - $7,854

Gabon debt - $15 billion
Population - 2.2 million
Debt per person - $6,750

Egypt Debt - $261billion
Population - 118million
Debt per person - $2,300

Angola debt - $64billion
Population - 39 million
Debt per person - $1,680

Nigeria Debt - $100billion
Population - 240million
Debt per person - $414.

Na poor man and poor thinkers dey fear debt....

From the data above ... It's obvious that Nigeria doesn't have debt Crisis... What Nigeria have is revenue crisis....

Compare to it's peers globally.... Nigeria have the lowest debt per Capita on Earth

Tinubu directly and indirectly grew the revenue of Lagos by 28,000% in 26 years....
The first of it's kind in the whole of Africa....

With such a man as Nigeria president....

Tinubu would grow Nigeria revenue to a point where Nigeria can borrow enough to fix it's over $1trillion infrastructural deficits....

Written by Onovughe Igwe
You forgot to add INCOME and INcome per person, then you will find we are no where compared to Saudi or Qatar and some of those nations mentioned. And why should we compare opurselves with Ghana?

PoliticsRe: Depreciation Of Naira Not Necessarily A Bad Thing — IMF's Tobias Adrian by Dee60: 12:29pm On Oct 15, 2025
Our system of government is part of the problem. FG takes the revenues and shares to states. The states want a devalued Naira so they can get more from FAAC. Once FAAC is shared the states go back to forex markets to change again to USD. This form of roundtripping is a great part of the problem with Naira and we are not ready to deal with it.

When the exchange was 199 to the dollar some global economists said 400 is the appropriate value. Then we moved it to 480 and rhey came back to say it should be between 690 and 740 and then we moved to 730. Suddenly they said it should be around 960. Then Gbammm it moved to 1600.
Every succeeding government in Nigeria is forced to devalue our currency. Even when we have positive balance of trade and improved foreign reserves, these don't translate to any significant improvement in our exchange rates. Something is amiss.
PoliticsRe: Depreciation Of Naira Not Necessarily A Bad Thing — IMF's Tobias Adrian by Dee60: 12:06pm On Oct 15, 2025
Chukwudi4naija:
As an Economist, devaluation is not a bad thing only if there is sufficient capacity to produce for export and a guarantee that all the produce will be bought by foreign countries. If China were Nigeria, the whole World will shake and plea for consideration, because the World will be a dumbing ground for Nigeria goods. Unfortunately we are not like China, as we cannot even sustain ourselves let alone having enough for export. IMF sold the wrong economics to our President and he couldn't assemble Economics Experts to advise him otherwise, before he stood on the podium the first day to declare these adverse policies on already vulnerable Nigerians.
Devaluation has not delievered any net additional value for Nigeria. The quantum is affecting us badly. Go to retail outlets that were bustling with life 3 years ago and see how comatose they are now. Countries measure retail index and inflation regularly to know how to tweak other indices to their advantage. Do we? Sometimes we even tell lies to cover up what is not working! Shoprite, a major retail outlet has not opened several of their outlets in the past 3 weeks! Do we understand what is going on? They dont seem to be able to meet up operational costs anymore. The only industry that seems to be thriving now is 'wicked politics' and you can see how the country is moving fast to a devilish one-party state.
