Everything is skewed against the Africans. IMF and others are perpetually doling out policies that will down our economies and force our young and talented human capital to emigrate to the West to do menial jobs! ASIA delivered themselves from the bondage decades ago. For Africa, our leaders continue to dine with the oppressors at the detriment of their citizens. You see a person resign from a white collar banking job only to take up a job as a care personnel looking after aged people in the West. |

WizardOfNG: Don't let these people drag you into dirty mud that is their own natural best habitat. She wore the dress for a private photoshoot for her 40th bday.
The only issues with wearing that dress in public would be that it would be too glamorous, and suited to a Nollywood award night for example, than walking around Shoprite.
From decent dressing perspective, nothing wrong with it at all. Long-sleeved, full-length and with a body coloured lining beneath as even our mothers use with their lace and iro outfit.
She is a decent women who was brough up well, as those familiar with her mother and family can confirm, and dresses as seen below normally and daily when not glamming up for a bday photoshoot as is normal and allowed. Men see something 'wrong' in a lot of dresses worn by women but they never see anything wrong with what men wear. And vice versa. It is just that when women see provocative dresses, they keep quiet so that they dont appear to be looking too much. For example, men dont know that wearing shorts can be seductive to women, and men even wear shorts to meetings and sit in front. If you ask 100 women to comment about this dress she is wearing, I think 100 of them will say it is very good and in order. If you ask men, 50% of them will say No. What I have come to realize is that sometimes a woman wears what she fancies and dont look to the extent a man will look. It is the role of the husband sometimes to balance this up. I am not talking about women who dress shamelessly. If you are condemning this dress of hers, it may be that you are looking too much! I said maybe. Personally, I am not in any position to judge. |

P1PrinceKT: Do you think with this kind of comments, the oppressors would get encouraged to stop oppression? The report contains lies. No sound petroleum engineer will earn 400k per month. Too low. And you could not have been working for many years in a company that is just coming up. |
Politics › Re: How Whatsapp Group Led To Sacking Of Workers At Dangote Refinery – Sources by Dee60: 6:25pm On Oct 02, 2025 |
yemre: This is very unacceptable! How do you report the activities of your office to outsiders on the foolish promises of getting you protected?
In the first place, sharing of sensitive information in an organization is a crime on its own. No company would ever tolerate that. Not even the federal government!
It is the reason some employees of some organizations are made to sign non-disclosure agreement before asking the newly employed to resume duties.
Now your protectors have succeeded in getting you redeployed to non vibrant sector and it automatically means your continued membership of that association is useless primarily because you will no longer have sensitive information to share.
Las las, you will learn how to face your job as a matter of priority rather than join any association that would put you into trouble. What were you even expecting? That your employer who employed you so you can put food on your table and feed your family will be shut down out of hatred for the progress of the organization that pays you a salary!
People are wicked!! Most of what they will divulge as information may even be lies and rumours. I have seen that happen before. People can be sober when they are looking for jobs but they start to sabotage soon after. |

EponObi: Ọmọ! You go fear crème de la crème of conflict resolution. Tinubu has no rival in this aspect.
Absolute respect.
Top respect to Dangote for standing his ground. He won! Those workers that want to unionize are out of his refinery, plugged into other companies within the Dangote group - out of the oil and gas industry entirely. There will be no PENGASSAN BS to join. If they are unlucky, they will be deployed to unfavorable locations.
On the other hand, Dangote gets to employ new workers for his refinery. I'm sure the new workers will sign an undertaking.
PENGASSAN calls off the strike. They protected workers' job - a small win. They failed to establish control in Dangote Refinery - a big loss - na the main thing wey dey want be that. They will try again though. Make dem go build their own refinery na if body dey scratch them. Selfish folks. Food don done, you bring spoon to come chop; shey na your ancestors build the refinery?
This is a big win for Nigeria. Business continue as usual.
God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu God bless Dr. Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi God bless Dangote Refinery God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Emergency lovers of Nigeria can choke on their tears 😭😭😭 Good that PENGASSAN realised they were just a few hours to becoming history. This is one call for strike too many. If you cripple DR today our economy could nosedive and Naira will go into another free fall. Very few Nigerians will queue behind the union on this issue. Just for 800 workers who decide to join a union, we want to throw millions into more hardship? Yes, DR is aggressive on making more profits but has he stopped anyone from building their own refineries? Don't blame Dangote for our collective shame as a nation. For 50 years we couldn't make good of our natural resources. That's a shame. |

PENGASSAN may not realize that a lot of people dont trust them. They have outlived their relevance after years and decades of hobnobbing with politicians and rulers to the detriment of the industry they claim to protect. What is left of that industry today apart from the private operators like DR, SEPLAT, etc? |
Politics › Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by Dee60: 2:24pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
P1PrinceKT: The Constitution gave them free will to join any Union if they wish, ... Saying that they can not be forced to join neither denied their right to join if they wish. But Dangote did not want that. Which if you use a common sense he is denying the thier right to unionism which is against the law. Pengassan is telling you that Dangote broke the law which in the future will affect the industry. And the welfare of Nigerians. There is a trust gap. How has PENGASSAN helped the industry and the citizens in the last 40 years? Can PENGASSAN come out to list some ways they have helped Nigerians, apart from themselves? If they have not helped, what is the prospect of helping in the future? |
Politics › Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by Dee60: 12:57pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
P1PrinceKT: Pengassan has no right or power to make Nigeria refineries work, these are a result of bad governmental policies and corruption in the land. PENGASSAN is simply a workers Union just like any other Union. It doesn't have power to build refineries. |
Politics › Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by Dee60: 12:54pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
P1PrinceKT: Pengassan is protecting Nigerian workers fired by Dangote and replaced them with Indians Which you might probably have been among them. Unfortunately you keep blind eye to the evil because it's not your concern. At the same time showing ignorance of the law that protects workers rights to join any Union of their choice. Why did those workers join the union? They risked their jobs by wanting to do aluta. There are far more workers who did not join. These unions should stop their lies. The unions in Nigeria have a lot of trust deficit. Most Nigerians dont trust them. How has PENGASSAN and NUPENG stopped all public refineries from going bankrupt? Did they not join in the party to destroy those FG refineries? PENGASSAN, read between the lines. The citizens dont trust you and will not watch you as you destroy the major source of GDP growth in Nigeria today. |

SmartPolician: This means that Tinubu is officially legalising prostitution in Nigeria. This used to be an absurd practice that Nigerian laws clearly prohibited.
This is exactly what happens when you have a president who is completely bereft of revenue generation ideas. You are taking it out of context. It is the job of security agencies to enforce laws and stop prostitution. It is the job of tax officers to raise taxes on all income. The tax man does not enforce laws on prositution, he just takes taxes from incomes. |

aylipple: Omoyele Sowore is overreaching himself in his feud with Nyesom Wike particularly with this his post.
You say something is "reportedly" owned by another person without concrete proof save for the assumption that the hotel's name starts with a letter J, it must belong to the FCT Minister.
Then, he went ahead to inform Rivers State people that the hotel is theirs as it's reportedly a proceed of looted funds from the state's Treasury; while Wike isn't entirely innocent of any allegation leveled against him by Sowore, it's important not to make false accusations so that innocent people's businesses don't suffer for nothing.
That's how they almost burned down Oriental Hotel, Lagos during end SARS over false claims it belonged to Tinubu. In places, even here in Africa, it may surprise you that you can go online to check who owns anything. And if you use proxies they will jail you. Check South Africa. And we are always boasting that we are bigger than them! In what? Let the owners of J's speak up quickly to clarify things. A nation progresses where there is transparency and not where everything is covered in mystery. The owners of Oriental should also have spoken up all this while. |

federal9: I hope you all can see the problem of Nigeria here.
Someone just exposed a politician looting a state and the properties he acquired with different names, but same Nigerians are defending the politicians on here; some are even saying it's a normal thing everyone knows in PH.
Nigeria is just like like a ladder, where two men were to climb, as one is climbing, the other is dragging his fellow Nigerians down not to climb.
This is ridiculous! I can't believe people are still defending evil.
Wait until old age comes, that's when you will know that truth and justice pay a lot.
You would wish you undo things you did, but you can't.
Keep defending evil and hailing looters just because they are your tribe men, same party, and givers. Have you heard of e-rats? Some of them are paid to write what they write and some are beneficiaries of the loot, so they will try to justify it. This is what politicians do very well. They launder money on a few to use those few to shield themselves against attacks. The Tax reforms taking effect from 2026 will not be a fair one until all the leaders are made ti MANDATORILY make PUBLIC all assets owned by them including those hidden in their children's names. Otherwise, they will keep taxing the poor, increasing so-called revenues that are just there to be looted by criminally minded politicians.
On a different, people close to PBAT should let him know he would not have achieved anything until there are political reforms that will stop our electoral process from being hijacked by money-bags. The reason is simple - One of the major reasons why people steal a lot is because they think money is what they need to secure political power.
