The major fallout for the US is that many countries will not trust them even when new deals are made. Again, when you look at that, there is really no trust in international relationships. People only pretend to trust. As they say, the truth is that there are no permanent friends among nations, only permanent interests. The US once bombed Vietnam, but they are trade partners today!

Unfortunately wars don't end on the battle ground but on round tables. Actually 99% of wars are senseless and have only been fought to protect egos and for arms dealers to make money.

Do care to study the commitments of BRICS to its member nation as a body ,if its involves military ties like those of NATO nations before you conclude that BRICS nations will come to your aid in form of military assistance if there should be any military comfrontation from the USA? Nigeria is not a BRICS member yet, but was just recently taken in as a partner nation. They mean two different things. That is what Prof Akinyemi said, that it is an insult for Nigeria to be treated as a partner and not as a member.
