Till date, he has not launched any investigation into why BVAS captured NASS elections and omitted the presidential. How can anyone take him serious? |
There is a gym around us and you wonder if its just exercise that the people go to do there looking at what some people wear when they go there. |
Dreal1247:Monumental? That is an understatement. |
If all researches are as stated researchers should all be billionaires! Has China said that they dont have enough cocroaches? There ae people raring lizards and snakes in Nigeria. What do they make from them? Billions? |
RealEzee:You want to tell me that you dont know that they have SM aides that go through SM on their behalf? |
Dear Governor, Your excellency, please Lagos is itching to have some dividends promised them. Oyingbo bridge - when will it open? Commuters are suffering. Same for Yaba bridge. Lagos -CMS link road to VI. Please, please alleviate the suffering of drivers. Blue Line commissioned by PMB. When? Gbaja Express launched before elections - Please help us convince Hon Gbaja to deliver it for the use of the people. Rice, great move. Hopefully, the price will drop a bit so that it will be cheaper than buying from abroad! Well done and thank you Sir. Citizen of Lagos |
Send the pictures! Biden is in the US meeting with PM of India. Rishi Sunak is holding a meeting with European leaders on Ukraince. Is Alake's meeting holding behind closed doors? Nigerians had enough with Dr Lai and just pray the new man is not Dr Lai raised to power 20! |
PBAT should not listen to praise singers. It is still too early. Don't let them derail you. This is the same way the praised PMB till the man became oblivious of his errors. Just focus on what you want to achieve. There are many people around you who want to chop and they are not necessarily interested in your success. Reno, what exactly do you want? Why dont you travel to Nigeria? |
It took the US quite a while to send their congratulations. Could it be that they saw something fishy in the Amazon data? |
Ask for refund! |
9jantatainment:Very valid points. All of the recent changes will improve our economy only if FG is ready to plug holes and fight corruption. Otherwise, we will just be changing the beneficiaries of corruption. A few years ago, the price of PMS at market price, without any subsidy was about N150 per litre. PMB actually removed most of the subsidy when he more than doubled the price of PMS, but it took just a little while for the Naira to be devalued and we found ourselves where we started. Essentially, what we have been paying for is the inefficiency in our exchange rate and not really any subsidy. The marketers during GEJ era were stopped and some other entity took over importation, so we essentially just changed the beneficiaries of the corrupt and inefficient system. I think if care is not taken, with the change in I&E window, we could find ourselves back in the era on banking greed, where banks and bankers lorded over the forex markets and made unimaginable gains. An efficient economy should not really worry so much about the price of the dollar but worry more about access to the factors of production in the local economy. Can people afford to move around to produce? Not really. Transport cost is too high. Insecurity is still barring people from cross-country trade and distribution. Is land cheap, accessible and affordable? No. Looters launder their money a lot in real estate, forcing the prices beyond the reach of many people. To get the cost of raw materials down, transportation and land costs down, the issue of corruption needs to be addressed. If the current administration is not treating this with urgency, it will be a signal that it is going to be 'business s usual' and the perpetrators will quickly device means to evade capture. PMS price is tied to forex price. Dangote is not a CSR initiative, the man will sell at prevailing rates! There is no serious country that assumes that forex prices will be favourable unless of course you massively improve local production or you just do not allow your currency to float! Your currency is of utmost national security and one way or the other should not be allowed to free-fall. |
jogojogo:I think you are right. If PO continues with the narration that 'he won the elections' he will only succeed in losing sympathisers. |
THE SONG WAS RENDERED AS A CALL TO PRAYER IN MARCH 2023. Nothing new here. Social media people at work portraying as if the song was released today! |
Some of PMB's ministers should be probed. Whoever is behind this charade should have his name placed in a hall of shame! |
Kapeter:Your point about infrastructure is well noted but at what cost? Our indebtedness as a nation has become really unprecedented. Any incoming administration must be bold to make some probes if it will succeed. |
How some people manage to get to certain positions remain baffling! You want to 'persuade' a business man on how to fix his prices? In fact, the statement looks like an admission that a single individual businessman will henceforth be handed the keys to determine how much we exchange our Naira. Ah, we need a new Nigeria. |
This man deserves an award! |
Public holiday for what? That will be GROSS abuse of office. |
The President can now hand-pick the Senate Leader and even handpick the CJN! What kind of monarchial democracy are we practicing? Why dont we elect kings instead of wasting time to elect presidents? Shame. |
There they go again! Please dont come back to say that you have mistakenly closed valid accounts. |
Lionel Messi has denied it. |
A chance for the Judiciary..... |
This is a provocative statement that may influence a decision aby all banks in the state to close shops to avoid being harrassed by government agencies. The governor should please guide his utterances. |
The judgment is against the FG. So, where is PMB in all of these? |
Governor Sanwo-Olu, so you are also joining in this lawlessness. How can a state governor be issuing directives to banks? Are you CBN or are you Supreme Court or are you Police Force? Very nonsensical statement. The situation with notes is hurting a lot but LAWLESSNESS will hurt more. In a society you just cannot behave anyhow you like just because you have power to lock up shops. Stop bullying around, BOS! |
Could it be a hastily arranged business venture that went bad? There are some ambitous aircraft lessors (not operators) who promise such deals but end up not showing up if the numbers are not good enough. If that is the case, the two of them should just have refunded, though it will leave them with losses. Lesson 1, dont try to be ambitous with a business you dont know about. |
The whole thing looks staged and looks like a deliberate video to try to portray that the thugs are from the opposition party. This Lagos people can do anything to deceive gullible followers! Forget the fact that they used a PDP vehicle. It looks fake. |
At the end of the day, it is university education that suffers. The big part of the blame will go to government for treating education with levity. Maybe it is deliberate, to keep the people uneducated. As it is now, local companies and especially foreign companies dont regard our university education as anything. What is the worth of a paper qualification? |

FoolishBoy419:You are very correct. You need to create chances for Ronaldo for him to shine. Messi creates many chances for others to score and also scores. He is not waiting for anyone. In the WC final of 2022, even Mbappe was marked out in the first half until the coach brought in players that could create chances for him. Messi is very talented. His passes, dribbles and his goals are exceptional. CR7 also has great passes and great goals but he cannot dribble pass several defenders like Messi. Above that, Messi has shown very good personality and is hardly seen playing selfish. When it comes to complete football and responsible team-play, Messi stands out. |
Donpenny:Apt. In those villages and small towns you hardly have anyone with 20k cash. They dont have ATMs anyway, so how does small ATM cash withdrawal affect them? For those who are educated and capable, use e-channels and for their relatives, use the cash limit to take care of loved ones in the village. Cash is going out in some countries. |
So now, the reps have remembered 'poor' Nigerians! Shior. Who does not know that their stock in trade is to share cash here and there! PMB got this one right. |
