There will be disagreement but not upto the level of killing each other every time.

Most of this countries that you mentioned, only Edo and Delta state put together is bigger than all those counties put together and majority of them speak on language.

Nigeria is unique with so much languages and believe and we are not on same page with them.
How can Nigeria be unique with so many languages? This does not make sense to me

You cant restructure Nigeria when the core north opposes it. You need 3/4 of the house to vote in support. Out of 36 states, south has just 17 while north has 19. You should also know that not all reps from the south will be in support. To an average hausa-fulani, there is no difference between restructuring and disintegration...since there will be no more access to oil again. The reason why the northerners shout "one Nigeria" is only because of your crude oil and to have access to your sea. This is why they dominate these resources right under your nose. They dont like Nigeria like Yorubas do.
Disintegration is better and easier because if the whole south declare their country, who will the Hausa-Fulani fight? They cant fight the three nations at once can they? Even the middle belt wont fight with them.

That is what all these people shouting restructuring do not know.

Where will you get two thirds of the vote needed to pass a bill on restructuring at the national assembly?

To get restructuring, it would mean at the house representatives, the SW/SE/SS/NC and at least one of the NW or NE to back it up!

5 geo-political zones are need to get Restructuring!

With the core North against Restructuring, it is simply not possible.

Anyone hoping for restructuring should forget it, it is simply mathematicaly impossible to achieve
Nigeria can never be restructured. Disintegration is much easier

I just checked my other handle and it seems they banned it cos I called out the disgraceful Yoruba sycophantic pseuds with whiskers like rats, on the thread “MayorofLagos” created…no biggie cos I’m used to it. I kind of limited how I frequent this board, after I took a long break last year because the standard of posting is in the gutter and, whenever I post, once in a while, these fleshing eating cannibalistic Ipod miscreants are always following me everywhere – with their illiterate-speak and bile/vitriol. And right now, I’m not in a place for negativity. Else, I would’ve taken it back to circa 2013/2014, by spamming pictures of their butt nak3d primitive forebears and their beloved chimp cousins everywhere. So, I just took my “talent” elsewhere to discuss the things I care about (tech, sports, hip hop, military, and international politics).

I read the thread from the beginning to the end and the cerebral contributions are insightful. I also applaud the civility. Civility in a space like this one, where there’s so much hate, is one aspect of Yoruba consciousness I need to imbibe. Then again, I’m a rah rah guy who was raised in the belly of the beast around savages – product of my environment. Regardless, it’s good to see a lot of Yorubas supporting the idea of a Yoruba country. That’s something I’ve been consistent about since about 3-6 months after joining this board and getting an inkling of Nigerian politics – ditto how the country is structured. There’s no successful country in the world that’s structured the way Nigeria is, with three-headed monsters that have divergent interests. And as the population of the country continues to grow at an alarming rate (Nigeria’s population should surpass the US’ by 2050 and the GDP of the US is about x40 that of Nigeria), despite being one of the poorest countries in the world based on GDP per capita – it’s only a matter of time before it implodes. Evidently, the balkanisation is inevitable and it’s matter of when.

Also, I’ll like to add to what those who cited STEM said. STEM is just a new acronym by the US for Science and Technology (Engineering and Maths traditionally fall under Science and Tech). In the UK: we still use Science and Technology. That said: in as much as STEM is highly important, history is also a very important discipline that a lot of black people tend to gloss over and ignore. The same emphasis placed on STEM should be placed on history, if the proposed Yoruba country wants to attain/maximise its full potentials.

Anyway, I know the North vs. Igbos is the main topic right now. However, everyone needs to vigilant about the other thing that’s brewing cos the North is going to turn on Yorubas in the next few months. BooHarry is as good as dead and the next election is in the 2019. And by virtue of position – Osinbajo would’ve to rule for the remainder of the tenure, which is basically what happened during the last administration. A wise man once said, “once bitten, twice shy”: when you put that in context of the power hungry Northern oligarch who’re the owners of Nigeria, Yorubas need to be prepared for all eventualities, once the gloves.

Thanks for the invite, bruddah. In as much as this is my last post on the thread, I’ll bookmark the thread (I don’t like bookmarking anything on this toxic board) and read the contributions whenever I can. I hope the crazy mods won’t take over the thread like they did with the “Yoruba commonwealth” one.

I’m out.
I greet you boss. You are one of the Yoruba guys i respect here.
