1. ADAM AND EVE WERE SENT OUT FOR EATING THE FRUIT OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL : i can say this is d greatest misconception but they were actually sent out so that they wil nt eat d fruit of the tree of life. Eating out of it wud av made dem immortal and lyk a rival to God. And remember in Exodus 20:5 ...... for I the LORD thy God am a jealous ...... God wants no rival.(Genesis 3:22-23)

2. THREE WISE MEN PRESENTED JESUS GIFTS : d only thing d bible said was dat they presented three gifts(Matthew 2:11), the bible never disclose their number but we lyk 2 assume they are three in churches, schools,dramas(i even acted as one of the 'three wise men') etc. I use Matthew 2:1 to back that up.

3. 'HEAVEN HELP THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES' : a lot of pple tink any sentence with 'God', 'Jesus', 'heaven' etc is always 4rm d bible. I'm so sori to burst their bubble but this famous quote is far from the bible, it was actually said by Benjamin Franklin(a Founding Father of USA).

4. DELILAH CUT OFF SAMSON's HAIR : even tho she was d 1 who cunningly discover his weakness, she waznt d 1 who cut his hair bt it was actually her manservant(Judges 16:19)

5. ADAM AND EVE ATE AN APPLE : contrary to popular belief, Adam and Eve did nt eat an apple. The bible only said the 'fruit of the forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:17, 3:3). D reason every body tinks it is an apple is because old/medieval english wasn't as complex as modern english, apple was used to represent every fruit and nut except berries

6. A WHALE SWALLOWED JONAH : this is scientifically impossible because most species of whale have a small throat which can neva b used 2 swallow a fully grown man. D bible only said a great fish (Jonah 1:17) nd a whale is nt even a fish it is a mammal.
