Apparently, School is not a parameter for success outside the classroom. You can achieve your dreams if you simply have the vision and the will power. School knowledge is secondary. Positive mentality is key. Same thing with the founder of Hyundai, Chung Ju Yung. The guy was just a primary school certificate holder when he started his business first as trucking and motor repair company before diving into heavy machinery and ship building. Today Hyundai is one of the largest business conglomerates in the world. |

It's obvious the EU needs alternative gas supply in case the Russians decides to turn off their gas pipes. Unfortunately the Nigerian gas sector is grossly underdeveloped, no thanks to unfavorable energy policies of past administrations. The National Assembly as a matter of urgency need to rise up from it's slumber and pass the PIB bill with immediate effect. Nigeria's gas sector when properly developed has the capacity to not only generate huge revenues but also provide thousands of jobs to citizens. 1 Like |

World politics at play. The bad guy here appears to be the Russian President Vladimir Putin, but that is far from it. You only need to go to Ukraine to find out first hand about what is really going on in Eastern Europe. The CFR are privy to the commercial Airliner that was shot over Ukraine. The renewed intrest in the Nigeria Economy by the EU is commendable considering the strategic role of Nigeria to the development of the entire West African sub region. It's high time developed countries realize that the task towards a developed Africa is not only advantageous to Africans but to the developed countries as well. As noted in the article, it well help stem the tide of illegal immigrants to Europe. The 600 million euros investment even though not enough will still go a long way in fixing critical infrastructural facilities especially the power sector. The government should back this up with massive support for our home industries in case of planned invasion of foreign companies into Nigeria. |
