I know what I'm saying. I have experienced it. First hand. It wasn't a pleasing one. I thought our friendship and affection should transcend mundane politics. I was sincerely wrong. I thought loyalty to friendship shouldn't be limited to politics. Again, I was wrong. Sincerely wrong.

I have seen hitherto gentile, amiable and unassuming colleagues and friends became very rude, impatient, abusive and deeply intolerant as soon as they started throwing weight behind the APC.
