I think most people still misinterprete that comment of Mr President. Corruption and stealing aren't exactly the same, though all forms of stealing come from the corruption tree....
Summary: certain comments shouldn't be credited to the president of a sovereign nation.
That single statement has cost him scores of supporters; that's the power of words! |

whether it is democratic regime or millitary regime all I know is that goodluck jonathan had poor performance..and that is my opinion which I am entitled to... do acting president and substantive president mean the same thing? |

wakacome: GMB is the best among them!!!
I have my facts and am entitled to my own opinion..... buhari spent just 18 months as a president and we know his performance...
Goodluck jonathan spent 6 years as president and we know his performance..though GEJ said that the security challenges did not allow him to be able to perform very well as many people were expecting but like my late father would say "There should be no excuse for failure" Please, GEJ never reach 6 yyears for office. You do not want to compare a totalitarian regime and a democratic one. All the same, it's your opinion! |

mumu ....he has been highest available head of govt. since October 28, 2009 when yaradua left for Saudi Arabia (will be 5.67 yrs in May)
and he has been acting president since February 2010 .
that GEJ was so scared to demand that he be declared the acting president back then is nobody's fault ( dem never even born Asari Dokubo that time).
it took the gut of Dora Akunyili and OBJ to declare that Yar'Adua was no longer fit and so GEJ should be made acting president.
The Nation was drifting and GEJ was cluelessly hiding away, Aondoaka (then Justice Minister) was making noise that Yar'adua can rul from Saudi Arabia hospital.
in fact..GEJ was so clueless that in December 2009, he had to lie to journalist that he had just spoken to yar'adua on phone...just imagine!!!
And when he was made acting president, he couldn't fish out the culprit that signed the budget on behalf of Yar'adua who was already in a vegitative state.
Finally, as acting president, Yar'adua was sneaked into the country and GEJ could not even see him nor call the shots at the villa.
it was so bad that GEJ help a FEC meeting but only Dora Akunyii turned up.
This same DORA AKUNYILI that stod by him in Thick and Thin, what did he do for her in return?
LONG STORY...she went into oblivion simply because she wouldn't join pdp

Ordinarily, it shouldn't be difficult to tell, but that's not the case. Many people believe GEJ has been in power for 6 years.
Late President Yar'Adua died on the 5th of May, 2010, and GEJ was sworn in as the substantive president on the 6th of May, 2010.
So, from whence comes the notion he's been President for 6 years?
Or do acting-president and substantive president mean one and the same thing? |

Bro, thanks for yet another brilliant article. Thank you.
The postponement of the elections was the real game changer. It allowed for more rational mind to carefully observe the broom wavers and see almost all its lying philosophy decimated and exposed one by one. The broom wavers are gradually losing their lying spell over the masses; their conspiracies are being deciphered and their hollowness and extreme selfishness is laid bare before all discerning minds. It sickening how these broom wavers could have armtwisted their ways into Aso Rock even the elections weren't postponed. Time reveals the true philosophy of a person or group, and these few weeks have done just that.
I wish I could respond to each point you have raised!
Buhari's truly confused. He's neither here nor there. In the past, any attacks on BH was an attack on the North, and BH boys should be pampered and granted amnesty. Today, he's not going to grant them amnesty if elected. Unstable as water, he shall not excel in his bid.
The APC was founded on selfishness, and as such the strangest of bedfellows are now yoked together. It's no more strange to us; we have seen the hollow change they chant.
The APC goons are a bunch of confusion. They unanimously agree over a matter in the council or any other venue, and then turn to tell the gullible folks the President took a unilateral decision. We have known them better.
Bro, keep doing what gives you joy. It's your duty to continue to expose the sacred lies continually being rolled out in droves from the lying machine of the broom wavers. |

The answer is a clueless, selfless, losing candidate who is yet to see the handwriting on the wall; and his name is Goodluck E Jonathan, a man headed for retirement of jail in a few short weeks. jimjamiu: According to inside source, it has been revealed that the APC presidential candidate Gen. Buhari who is presently in the UK, is set to visit Cambridge University in person to collect his WAEC certificate before returning back to Nigeria. This might be a very good strategy on his side to further woo electorate to his side during the coming election, and more importantly to finally silenced the PDP on the certificate saga. OP, Buhari collecting his certificate in person from the Cambridge has got NOTHING to do with the PDP and it's supporters. It's about Buhari fulfilling a constitutional and legal requirement. We must polarise every issue....... |
