If you have to invest 1.8M, make sure you know about the business opportunity inside-out. How does it work? Do we need to sell products? Don’t trust friends easily, go to the official website and call the company’s staff if you need to.

QNET doesn't have its own office in Nigeria, but they collaborate with a partner called Transblue. If you need to contact them, you can visit Transblue's offices in Lagos and Abuja, where they can assist you with any inquiries.

Crime / Most Recent Cybercrimes And Scams Strategies And How To Protect Oneself From Fal by Deiyvismiwa: 11:57am On Dec 08, 2023
Lately, scammers and hackers have been exploring diverse methods to hack and scam individuals. Therefore, it is crucial to stay cautious and well-informed about the new strategies they are employing in order to safeguard your personal information as a business or individual.
Some of these strategies include:

1. Crypto Scams: Crypto scams are one of the most used ways to perform cybercrimes. This is because cryptocurrency has gained so much popularity. Although it's a good way to invest, it has become a platform for scammers to exploit people's interests.
2. Identity Theft: Identity theft is when someone uses another person's personal information as though it were theirs. They usually do this to perform fraudulent activities such as extorting money.
3. Fake job offers using the names of reputable companies: Another common tactic employed by cybercriminals is the creation of fake job offers, often using the names of reputable companies to gain trust. They entice individuals with attractive job offers, requiring personal information or payment for fake processing fees.

Taking precautions to protect oneself includes:
1. Be attentive to unexpected requests for personal information from friends and family.
2. Regularly update your software to protect yourself from cyber threats.
3. Secure your accounts with a strong password that includes numbers, symbols, and two-factor authentication.
4. Keep regular backups of important data on external drives or secure cloud services. This ensures that you can recover your information in case of a ransomware attack.

By staying vigilant and adopting these practices, individuals can significantly reduce the risk of falling victim to cybercrime and online scams. Adapting and updating security measures regularly is essential to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Education / Study Tips by Deiyvismiwa: 11:16am On Sep 07, 2023
So, my dad recently returned to school to get another certification in his field. My dad has always been an advocate for education. He loves learning, which I got from him; learning is one of my favourite things. However, back to my dad, he was so excited about this course that he undertook it for months, even though it often interfered with his work schedule and was hectic.

Fast forward to the time for the exam, and he had so much confidence because he wasn’t nervous about having to write exams. However, lo and behold, he forgot absolutely everything he had read for his first paper. He was upset because it was so unlike him, so when he got home, I talked with him about it, and we tried to identify things he could have done better.

We realised that he did everything right, including creating a study schedule, finding a quiet study environment, testing himself regularly, and taking effective notes to break down the material. Still, he forgot the most important thing: prioritising sleep and staying hydrated. Due to his busy schedule, he was so focused on reading whenever he could, and his brain was exhausted.

So to my fellow students, in as much as you have to burn the midnight oil, always remember to rest enough so your brain doesn't fall asleep on you in the exam hall.

Jobs/Vacancies / The Lack Of Adequate Employment In Nigeria by Deiyvismiwa: 1:16pm On Jun 09, 2023
The lack of adequate employment opportunities in Nigeria has become a pebble in the shoes of most Nigerians; finding a job that matches our skills and aspirations has become a great challenge. However, we can continue to wail or think of solutions to this problem. For example, we could foster and support entrepreneurship amongst ourselves - so if you have a friend or acquaintance with a small business, support that small business. Vocational training programs that equip individuals with practical skills for in-demand industries could also be encouraged - not just in schools, if you have a skill which you can teach, especially to the children and adolescents in secondary schools and even tertiary institutions.

These efforts could encourage the government and private sector to invest in sectors with the potential to create more jobs, like technology, renewable energy, and agriculture. Let's finally use this platform to share success stories, job opportunities, and advice for job seekers. Together, we can make a difference and tackle Nigeria's employment challenges.

Properties / The Rave About Smart Homes by Deiyvismiwa: 3:17pm On Apr 14, 2023
In this Lagos, almost every house built lately is a smart home, especially houses on Lagos Island. And the prices can kill somebody! there are so costly, and at first, I didn’t even understand why that price. Then I spoke to one of my friends in real estate, and he explained that these houses are equipped with cutting-edge technology that allows for remote monitoring and control of various functions such as lighting, heating, and security systems.

Imagine lying on your bed and controlling everything in your house with just your remote. The convenience of controlling your home's functions from your smartphone or tablet is a major selling point for these smart homes. Additionally, the energy efficiency and cost-saving benefits are also attractive to homeowners.

With the rise of smart homes, it is clear that technology is rapidly transforming how we live, and it is exciting to see this trend take hold in Nigeria. I just hope I have enough money to afford one someday.

Crime / Re: Nigerian Government Should Shut Down Quest International (QI) Now. SCAM by Deiyvismiwa: 11:17am On Apr 14, 2023
QNET business model isn't a fraud. I just think a lot of people need to know how they can earn money with QNET by selling their products. If you use their products, enjoy them, and refer others to purchase them, you can earn commissions on the sale you just made. This way of earning money is called a "compensation plan, and the amount of money you get depends on how many products people buy.

ThankUUJesus:
it is the legit QNET company, they are sometimes called QI which means Quest international. Na Dem. go and research or investigate what they really do. The products they claim to be selling is a cover up... nothing like that. Immediately you pay 600k, they start teaching you how to lie to your family members and friends to make them register under you. If no one registers, your money is gone.

Yes that's true, that's why the legitimate QNET has put out a public disclaimer regarding fraudulent entities using their name to scam people. Anyone who is approached by a supposed QNET in Nigeria offering a job should reach out to the legitimate QNET to verify their affiliation. It's unfortunate that scammers are using the QNET name to deceive people, but it's important to stay vigilant and verify any offers that seem too good to be true.

owiko:
I'm aware that there's QNET international which is a direct selling company, having offices/branches in many countries. This naija version of QNET, forming affiliation with QNET international is scam.
