This makes sense. Some of those private sector players had recommended the devaluation of the Naira as the best way to safe the economy, but after govt conceded, the opposite seems to hold. The Naira lost more value with resultant effect on the prices of goods and services.
Most Private Sector players are very selfish and self centered. They will simply steer the economy into their pockets.
einsteino: What makes you think COREN professional interview would be easier than that of NSE? What i feel is that it is a cheaper means, as one wouldnt have to pay NSE.
The NSE registration process also includes oral interview but before that you'll also have to take some written exams which has had some people repeat multiple times before finally scaling through.
Poor JAMBites. So much confusion. Bloggers coming up with JAMB policies here and there and JAMB struggling to keep up with counter information. So much for freedom of speech.
LoveDecay: Na national security matter be this bros. In situations like this you loose your rights.
Was a state of emergency declared in the state? This is not right when marshal law is not invoke. Similar acts in the North East was condemned even when there was a state of emergency I don't see why this should be supported especially without a legal backing.
Sweetlemon: They haven't declared their religion indeed! Is Asari the only militant? Is Tompolo a Muslim?
Muslim terrorist shout Allah Akbar or whatever because they are religious terrorists. They are fighting for religion. These ones are socio-political terrorists.
But Tompolo is neither a christian. He practices traditional religion. Looks like your logic is "Anyone who is not a Muslim is a Christian". That will be a very faulty one. Some are Atheists, some do not just belong anywhere.
Sweetlemon: Is it because it is not Northern Nigeria? This is Akwa-Ibom state where children as young as 2 years old get tortured into confessing they are witches then ultimately killed or abandoned to die. Just go to Youtube and search for "Torturing children in Akwa-Ibom" and cry your heart out at the graphic videos there where pastors, Yes you read me right, PASTORS order the killing of children the label witches and this happens like every other day. EVERY DAMN DAY in Akwa-Ibom. Where are all the so-called human rights activists when we desperately need them? The only people so far doing anything about this phenomenon are oyibos. CNN even interviewed Akpabio about this and guess what? Nothing happened. What are WE doing about this please if we really care about our own people? Why are we not outraged enough to sign petitions and demand the President to release a press statement about these? Are the cries of these innocent children not painful enough in your ears? Is it because it wasn't a Muhammad or Ibrahim that are the culprits
WHY Nigerians? Why
This my second ever calling on mods to push this to the front page. Mynd44, Lalasticlala, Obinoscopy, please do the needful let us all reason together for once!
This documentary was done some years ago. I think I first saw it in 2011 or 2012. Quite pathetic. These acts of torture to children were mostly spearheaded by prayer houses (not usually conventional churches, though some of these prayer houses have sort of metamorphosed to gain more acceptance). It is not true that Gov. Akpabio did nothing after the CNN interview. It was this kind of incidences that gave birth to the Child rights act in Akwa Ibom state that criminalizes such activities and also makes it compulsory for children of Primary/Secondary school age to be in school during school hours. Lots of people had been arrested or have their children taken from them for perpetrating such acts or taking their children for exorcism. I don't think anyone can try that again in Akwa Ibom. When reported, even the least form of child maltreatment is taken up by the Ministry of Women affairs along with law enforcement.
Poverty is mostly not because of lack of opportunity but more of waste of opportunities. If you think otherwise, tell me if you had harnessed the few (probably little) opportunities you had to the fullest, will you be where you are today?
If you answer is yes, then your case need very serious intervention. I'll recommend deliverance.
ojuu4u: "You are sure getting things mixed up" or 'surely you are getting things mixed up" i guess you are a yoruba guy.
i pointed out OP's 'error' or i pointed out OP's 'errors'
Are you are a university graduate(?) in that situation is not 'subtle' way but 'sarcarsm'
(you had even more errors) OR (you even had more errors)
OGA PROFESSOR YOU ARE TRANSLATING YORUBA LANGUAGE TO ENGLISH LANGUAGE DIRECTLY WITHOUT FOLLOWING THE RULES. Learn more about Concord . I promise i will improve
You said you are a graduate but you seem to only understand when English is written in it's simplest form for kindergarten kids. What has understanding of English got to do with tribe? I deliberately marked only one of the OP's errors and you feel I should have used plural form for one? As for the other phrases that your kindergarten brain could not assimilate, do look up "passive form of a verb". And by the way, I'm not Yoruba. Do well to improve as you have promised. Before then, get someone to help you read what you type before you post. You are still embarrassing yourself. I won't give you more attention.
ojuu4u: Thank God you didn't disagree that you committed blunders, even though you had university certificate and so many professors taught you when were in the university. This shows not by university you attendend but "you yourself".
You are sure getting things mixed up. I'm not the OP. I pointed out the OP's error in a subtle way but you emphasized it, however you had even more errors while emphasizing the OP's own. And even still you are getting it wrong.
ojuu4u: Thank God am not the only person that saw his grammatical blunders, I don't want to reply /quote him directly. Am working in university environment though not ASUU but SSANU and am university graduate, I have seen enough rots among Nigeria graduates (UNI or POLY even MSC), that are my colleagues and I can confidently say not by degrees but individualities. Not until we reduce recognition on paper qualifications Nigeria will never grow economically.
habby51: Dis are the factors that makes Universities rated than Polytechnics;
6. ACADEMIC STAFFS: Least you can see in Universities as a lecturer is a Doctor (Ph .D). A masters holding can only be of an assistant. Most Seniors lecturers are Professors. While the highest you can get in a polytechnics is a Doctor ( Rector), others are MSc, B. sc or HND holder
