Good idea and should be supported

Just hope they fix some (if not all) of our refineries irrespective of having a local and international marketplace to list or find buyers, sellers, importers and exporters of crude oil, petroleum products, natural gas and petrochemicals

It is good news after the difficulty of finding a marketplace to list or source crude oil, natural gas, petroleum products and petrochemicals locally and internationally.

Yes these are profitable agricultural business opportunities. Apart from venturing into any of them it is also good to know where you can find or list agricultural products, equipment , jobs or services for local buyers, sellers, importers and exporters of agricultural products, agricultural equipment or even find or listing agricultural jobs and agricultural services at a reputable and reliable agricultural marketplace and agricultural business directory

If this is true that despite the quest for Nigeria Beyond Oil by diversifying the Nigerian economy into areas like agriculture, minerals, gemstones, metals and other sustainable and beneficial service sectors then this is unfair.

This is pure wickedness. It shall never be well with any one that is directly and indirectly involved in looting my dear country

Good move so long it is effected other than just saying it.

Agriculture, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Minerals, Gemstones, Metals and Alloys are very profitable if you have a marketplace to connect with buyers, sellers, exporters and importers in these sectors.

This is good news for Nigerians and friends of Nigeria. Better days ahead. Let's be united and say no to religious and ethnic differences.

It is one thing to be involved in cassava farming but it is another thing to have a marketplace for agriculture (crops and livestock) to list or find farm products or agricultural products, agricultural equipment or farm equipment either to buy or sell locally or internationally (export or import) and sometimes to find or list agriculture jobs and services.

Good work. More still have to be done apart from Agriculture. As good as crude oil, it is important we become less dependent on crude oil and so other resources should be considered because the more diversified our economy the better for us. One Nigeria!

Abegi, its all God and Connection... I don't believe in perfect CV. A beautiful friend of mine who has horrible and typo errors in her CV got a job while me with perfect still find it hard to secure ordinary interview. Me and this my friend both went for this interview ooo but she was given the job.


Everything is not all about perfect CV jare, its God, connection, pleasure and luck to get good jobs in Nigeria.

Why don't they enact laws to be paying the unemployed ( even if it means stipends until they are employed) as it obtains in some countries? They already have money. Soon it will be life pension for Governors, Senators, and the rest. I frown at this!

"Congrats to those that have received invitations. Over 4,000 candidates(can't remember the exact figure now) made it to the interview stage.

Firstly NNPC recruitment in based on quota system. Almost equal number of applicants will be taken from all the states and FCT. This implies that you are competing against people from your state.And this will in turn go down to LGA by LGA.So if you have a family member or a cousin in the race it means u are virtually fighting for one slot.
Under this system situations arises where a Candidate from State A with 50% score in the interview will be employed while a candidate from State B with 80% score might not be employed. So those of you from educationally developed states should brace up for the challenge.I am sure you know those states

What to equip yourself with:
When NNPC was established and under what decree
NNPC's Core Businesses
NNPC Subsidiaries and their operational functions
The Refineries and their various Refining capacities
Which of the NNPC subsidiaries u'll like to work with and why?
Why do you want to work with the NNPC.
Why do you want to work in the Oil industry
Why do you want to leave your former place of work(if you are already working)
Where do you hope to be in 10years time?
Understand your discipline and how you can apply it in the oil industry
Know the name of the current and immediate past GMD
Expect that you’ll be asked atleast one basic question about your discipline
Know where the head quarters of each of the Subsidiaries are located say Benin, Warri, Lagos etc.
Research the operations of the Subsidiaries so you’ll know which one you can fit in.(I am currently working with the subsidiary I mentioned during my interview so take your time to research,though it does not totally follow)

Look smart and composed. It’s usually a friendly interview and note that your line of discussion will mostly go in line with your responses so be sure of what to say. But please don’t be too confident else you’ll sound arrogant.

I’m speaking from experience. The above where questions asked me and some of my colleagues who I am working with now. So expect most of the questions to come from them.
Know that NNPC will not take everybody.

Knowing your status is good. If negative, it makes one confident and cautious. It is laughable when I hear some persons say it is not necessary.

Nigeria is a blessed nation in terms of agriculture, crude oil, petrochemicals, minerals, gemstones, etc. It is unfortunate that immediately crude oil was discovered in Nigeria all other sectors were abandoned. Crude Oil is not a curse but a blessing to our country. All we need is unity and diversification of our economy from being over dependent on crude oil. There should have been national projects like Nigeria Beyond Oil initiatives which Delta State is already doing through the Delta Beyond Oil initiative. All Nigerian states irrespective of tribes and religions should have embarked on projects like this before this global crude oil price falls. Despite the fall in oil prices which by analysis won't last forever, it is never too late to pay attention to the other resources through good policies and implementations. We are better together as Nigerians. We have no other country to call our own. In the spirit of patriotism and national interest let's say no to religious and ethnic differences and work towards a better and brighter Nigeria...I am proud to be a Nigerian.
