In my own opinion the truth must be said: Lecturers/Teachers(Academicians) ought to be the highest paid set of people.Everyone in power today (directly or indirectly) are where they are today because of education. The place of education cannot be overemphasized.I am not in anyway taking sides. But it will be better if the government and ASUU can resolve this issue once and for all. |

I think it is high time we started respecting the office of the president. For the fact that there's freedom of speech or freedom of the press doesnot mean we should seize every opportunity in raising dust.Besides the prison is still free too. |
The same story again!Na wa for this country o.There are two solutions to Nigeria problems.Spiritually we need God's intervention but physico-socio- economically we need revolution! |
It is so sad to know that this heroic footballer who passed on while on a national assignment can't be immortalized. How long must we immortalize corruption?Sam,your memory is still fresh in the minds of Nigerians. |
Trust naija na.Some will do same having heard of this. Our bankers should plz shine their eyes o in order to avoid stories that touch. |
I just wonder what her family's take on this will be.May be this is just what will make her famous. |

Who has not watched ''Sometimes in April''?I wonder what Nollywood will name ours should they decide to act a movie about BH. But ICCJ delayed too much. |
R.I.P. Such is life! |
A nice thread I must say.I hope I'll make this list someday when I find my miss right. |
Wow,this is good! At least Nigerians should not only be known for corruption. We can all make Nigeria proud. He should keep it up. |
Even if you crammed to to obtain a 2.2 did you not do practicals?Put your practical experience to work. Yes,education is good but that does not mean it must be a do or die.Every professional in his own field of expertise is an apprentice in another's field. Go on with your business.Who knows may be one day one of these Nigerian Universities can award you a Phd by the success of your business and contribution to Nigeria. |
If they claim to vote in ignorance or errors they should as well revoke their support for it now that they know. Or is the constitution only amendable just to suit their selfish gains?Oya make u na reverse sharp sharp jor! That is how they will wake up one day to vote in support of guy marriage....So annoying leaders. We are Africans! |
Goodnews. At last it is called off. |
I am not surprised because nothing works in Nigeria...Failed systems, failed government, failed democracy...I just hope a c'oup doesnt take place soon! |
Having said all these, now what is the way forward?Shall we continue in corruption or try to redeem our image? How I weep for my dearest country! |
The tussle for power n fame is the beginning of chaos n anarchy. |
Why not allow God to judge than run into conclusions?Mind what u say about men of God to prevent attracting God's wrath. The end shall tell. |
Why not allow God to judge? |
Is this a good or a bad news?Must we keep killing the image of this country?Who are we to blame for all these?Should we blame those that are tarnishing the image of this country or those that are directly or indirectly pushing them into such social vices? We have failed ourselves but the government has failed us more.Despite all the abundant resources God has blessed us with what are those in power doing with the proceeds of these resources.Imagine, any one that holds any public office wants to use the opportunity to amass wealth for themselves and their posterity to come. This country needs revolution.By right,Nigeria ought to be among the developed nations. It is so annoying when I hear that Nigeria is the giant of Africa yet we have nothing to show for it.Is it giant of corruption? What do you expect from a nation where almost all the systems are failing? The solution to all these boils down to our electoral process. If the right leaders are elected, then half of these problems will be solved. Must we continue to be a baby nation?Enough is enough! If we must get it right as a nation then WE MUST FIRST CHANGE OUR MINDSETS. NOw that we know, what is the government doing to save the reputation of this country?I am not saying that there are no good leaders.Nigeria is not the most corrupt nation.Even if the government has failed us, must we keep failing ourselves? If Nigeria has all it takes, will these people travel abroad to tarnish our image.I still believe that Nigeria can be rebranded to save her from these defamatory acts.Oh God save our country! |
This is nice. |
Wow!I think this is a welcome development.Let it begin. |
Is Ben Carson(Gifted Hands) aware of this yet(lolz)? With God all things are possible. |
Hmm.My lips are sealed. The end shall tell. |
