On a more serious note the lack of proper updates from DHQ is really a cause for alarm.

In the begining of this war on terror, DHQ normally dishes out pictures of captured terrorists and their weapons. In some pictures we see hundreds of boko boys with weapons and motorbikes captured from them. Gen. Olukolade will tell you what happened and where it happened with pictures to convince. But these days this scenario has stopped. Tweets sent from @GENOlukolade and @DefenceInfoNG are very vague. No pictures nothing. Sometimes they only retweet posts from their followers. What is realy hapening? Is there no more goodnews to report or what? Or is this also a form of "tactical ...."?

Obasanjos son was shot in Bazza in Michika LGA 60 km from the university town of Mubi, Adamawa State. Michika LGA has a total number of 5 serving generals in the Nigerian Army(as told by people from there) who have vowed to reclaim their fatherland if given the opprtunity.
The battle for michika is still ongoin.

How come the bombing subsised for a while and all of a sudden BH declares full scale war. The military should have embarked on full scale invasion of every nook and cranny of borno state. They all these ammmunitions all the while, but wouldnt put it to use. I can say boldly that if the military had gone full scale after bombings subsided, BH wold have been left with no choice but to run into cameroon ((wish they tried to do but were quickly rebuffed by gendarmes in cameroon) or go all out in the direction of the NA. All along, there was complicity. This war against boko haram especially in bornu would have been won by 5,000 lightly armed civillian JTF volunteers. Lest we forget, Yola is home to the American University of Nigeria. The number of American and other nationals who work there are too numerous. Fearing a poSsible attack from BH, residents of Mubi are trooping into Yola, the Adamawa state capital. A friend who is a lecturer in the Adamawa State University confirmed this to me on phone. He even said the Army stationed in Mubi have all relocated back to Yola to strategize. This is coming after attacks in Madagali and Michika in Adamawa State, towns which are close to Mubi- Adamawas second largest city. Adamawa State university is said to have closed indefinately.

The official media spokesman to BH, Shariareporters claim that their bosses have dropped fliers in front of barracks in Maiduguri detailing plans to "capture" the city. They also report that their boss Shecow will personally lead the battle and he is ready to "fight to death".
If we are really serious about ending the war on terrorr once and for all, then this is good news. The most likely scenario is that mad man shecow will gather his nearly 2000 fighters from Gwoza, Gamboru-Ngala, Banki and Bama.
I don't need to teach Gen.Minimah his job. But this is the much needed opprtunity to strike the head of the snake once and for all. Kill shecow and his top commanders and leave the civilian JTF to finish the foot soldiers. Shecow will probably come with 5-10 APC's/Armoured tanks, 5-10 AAA's mounted on hiluxes and nearly 2000 AK 47 carrying almajiris. This analysis is based on BH propaganda videos I have watched.
This should give our brave troops ample opportunity to crush these boys once and for all. If it means sending 50,000 soldiers, MOPOL, Airforce etc with all our old fighter jets and rusty armoured tanks. The battle line has been drawn. Enough of this madness

I just downloaded and listened to a VOA Hausa report in which the reporter interviews the Legal Adviser to the Borno youth vigilante, popularly called Civilian JTF and another member of the group . The CJTF, who Shekau categorically mentioned in his latest video as his number one enemies. They have vowed to shed their last blood to defend their homeland.

Sorry for being pedantic but when did our "leaders" claim that 40 choppers were on their way? It seems to me this was newspaper speculation as Nigeria rarely gives specifics on military purchases.
