Meeeeen. There are so many idiotss on NL. SMH. So you think BH just wants nothern Nigeria? When they bombed Lagos what did people like you do. I remember when some people were making mouth that BH dare not come south. They came, they saw, they BOMBED Lagos and nothing happened. The same way they will BOMB South East(God forbid) if they are not stopped. They will BOMB PH, Calabar, Nnewi, Enugu and Govt. will only tell you that its a "pipeline explosion". God forbid. This is NIGERIA's problem caused by Nothern Politicians. Now is not time to play games or blames. Now is time to ACT.
As I am writing this I have nothing to do with Borno, or Bama or Buni Yadi etc. But this threat is to us all coz its like the DanFodio jihad to them. They wanna conquer the whole country.
But I'm confident Nigeria will win this war on terror.

This is realy disturbing. I hope our brave soldiers overpower these madmen today. The weapons in Bama barracks can be used to invade a whole country. I hope soldiers use it on boko haram boys, not run and leave it for them. At worst destroy the weapons and flee if they are overpowered. But under no circumstances should weapons be surrendered to BH boys.

I pray for our troops.

I'm not trying to make up excuses for 480 NA soldiers for their "tactical manuovers" into Cameroun. Or for 2 JTF personell "taking cover" on the mountains of Gwoza when faced by over 200 boko boys. I'm just saying such things happen everywhere in war but in other countries, you will never hear of such due to patriotism of the media. But in Nigeria, the reverse is the case. The Nigerian media enjoy ridiculing the efforts of the NA operations in the North East as if they are paid by "Shekau".

I have with me right now a very shocking video of fully armed Isreali troops running down some palestinian fighters. When the Palestinians later regrouped, they gave those Isreali troops a hot chase. Some the fleeing troops were even falling. They ran for their dear lives even faster than the 2 NA soldiers "taking cover" in Gwoza.
BBC, CNN, AFP will never show you this video. But here in Nigeria, the first thing Saharareporter wrote in their breaking news was "Boko Haram releases video of soldiers fleeing....". Other Nigerian tabloids followed suit. Headlines such as "soldiers taking to their heels" etc sprang up. In fact, the Nigeria media ignored other very important points in the video. Like the place where Shekau lamented that an uncountable number of boko haran fighter have been killed. This fact was totally ignored by the Nigerian media. All of them were only interested in reportin where soldiers were taking cover.
I won't judge them. But they forget that if they continue to encourage boko haram. They will one day wake up with no place to produce or sell newspapers. (God forbid).
Dailytrust, Saharareporters, BBC hausa, VOA hausa are some of the boko supporting sites I have identified. You can add yours.
Meanwhile the link I got this video from has been taken down. So anyone interested should drop his PIN. Better yet just one PIN so that if I send to you. You can distribute to others. I'm not gonna send to anyone on Wassap coz I don't want my number on NL. Or if there is a way to upload videos on NL please someone should let me know so I jus upload it. Don't even want given out PIN unless its absolutely very necessary.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not a Hamas supporter. I just don't like how our media always takes delight in ridiculing our soldiers hence the need to show all that it happens everywhere.

matify: That is the saddening aspect of our counter insurgency war the govt. Is prosecuting now.

Troops are left in the theatre of war without any relief after being told their tour of duty is for just 6 month.

My immediate younger brother was posted to Adamawa state in December 2013 just few days after the birth of his 3rd child but was kept ther beyond his expected 6 month and only just recently we heard that his convoy was attacked by BH and some of his colleagues KIA while he was declared MIA since his corpse was not found.

It is high time the military stuck to a rotation plan for our men and women in uniform serving in conflict zones in the country and this is usually put at 6 months internationally.
Feel ya pain bro. May he be found alive.
PoliticsIs There No More Rotation Of Troops In The Nigerian Army? by dekronik(op): 2:31pm On Aug 27, 2014
Among the daily sad and disturbing news I read this morning is that which we are told the nearly 500 Nigerian soldiers who crossed to Cameroun under intense fighting with boko haram members have been returned by the Camerounian govt. and are now back to base engaging in the current War on terror in the north-east.
I'm really saddened by such news. I'm not a soldier but common sense tells us this group of soldiers will not be psychologically ready to go back to the same war front at this particular moment. Why can't a replacement of 500 soldiers be brought from the various army formations in the country and this group be posted as replacements to them. I'm not an expert in war but I know that after 3-6 months, soldiers need to replaced by another batch of fresher troops with higher morale so that the first batch can have a deserved breather. There are enough troops in this country to permanently end this madness called boko haram once and for all but the right tactics are not used. With the various soldiers staying idle in Kaduna, Calabar, Ibadan etc army formations there should be troop rotation at least every six months. Don't forget we have thousands of soldiers abroad on peace keeping missions. Why should a soldier spend nearly 3 years in Maiduguri while another spends nearly 2 years in Sudan or Somali. I believe those soldiers brought back from cameroun shouldn't have been posted right back to the war zone. Their morale will definately be low
Before I conclude, once more I'm not a military expert. I'm just giving a humane advice. These soldiers are also humans like us. Not robots.

Long Live FRN

Quote from "Shekau": "...kun kashe en uwan mu ba iyaka" (End Quote)

ENGLISH: ..."You(Civilian JTF) have killed an uncountable number of our brethren".

BBC Hausa,AFP,Saharareporters will never tell you this.

Unknowingly, "Shekau" has revealed many weaknesses of BH boys from his speach than he intended to. This is the fourth or fifth video in which "Shekau" expresses his hatred for Civilian JTF. The fact is simple, they are the only ones who can end this madness. Its their land. They will die defending it. An Igbo soldier will not kill himself for an "aboki". Neither will a yoruba soldier. But CJTF have no option.

Scotland Yard warns against viewing, downloading and disseminating of film showing James Foley's murder
'It may constitute an offence under terrorism legislation,' Met has said
Legal expert told MailOnline an arrest for viewing the film would be 'absurd'
But publishing it with aim of 'encouraging' or aping it would be an offence
Government sources confirm David Cameron has seen the film in full
Scotland Yard said today viewing the film showing James Foley's murder by an Islamic State (IS) extremist may be illegal - but experts believe any prosecutions for watching it would be 'absurd'.

The Met also urged people not to spread the gruesome video over social networks like Twitter and Facebook, warning they could be arrested.

The film shows Mr Foley, 40, kneeling in a desert-like environment at an unknown location as an IS fighter stands by his side dressed in black and with his face covered.

The killer, who is believed to be British, accused America of 'aggression towards the Islamic state' for its attacks on IS, before murdering Mr Foley.

Warning: Scotland Yard has said that viewing, downloading or spreading the IS video of James Foley's murder could be an offence, experts have said that this would be very difficult to prove
Scotland Yard, which leads counter-terror policing in the UK, confirmed that it is investigating the video and reminded social media users that spreading extremist material is a crime.

Thank God we are alive.

I said it and people called me names. I asked for proof and I was called a doubting Thomas. Now we have seen it. The video is out. Please where is the picture of "flags hoisted" on Emirs palace, Army base and all other Govt. Structures. I have downloaded the video and watched it from begining to the very end.
Shame on BBC Hausa,VOA Hausa, AFP, ShariaReporters etc for helping Boko Haram with propaganda. Where are the so-called eye witnesses who "don't want their names mentioned"?

I'm not saying there is no boko haram attack in Gwoza, I'm just saying STOP THE PRO-BOKO HARAM PROPAGANDA. You are only killing the spirit of our nation. If you think boko haram is a northern problem that can be solved by spliting this country then you are in for a rude shock. Give them the whole of Nigeria, they will demand for Africa, give it to them and they would want world domination. Its an ideology, not politics. So let's join hands and fight as one.
PoliticsBoko Haram Have Nigerians Where They Want With Latest Media Propaganda by dekronik(op): 2:13am On Aug 26, 2014
- 480 NA troops flee to Cameroun
- Declaration of Gwoza caliphate
- 2 "soldiers" running from boko haram
- "hoisting" of flags

So much more media propaganda spread by boko haram media just to discredit Nigerian troops.
Ok let's believe that 2 soldiers ran away from boko attack. Where are the rest. Or is a whole Army outpost just manned by 2 soldiers? Whether we like it or not, boko haram will only be releasing doctored and edited videos showing their supposed "gains". They will never show you where there men are killed. The fact is boko boys are killed daily by Federal troops but boko supporting media will never report this. Now ask yourself why is "Shekau" very definative about the issue of Civilian JTF? This is almost the fifth or sixth video that he is expressing his hatred for the Civilian JTF. Why? The simple reason is they expose boko boys anywhere they are which gives the army easy targets. But AFP, BBC hausa will never allow you to see such. They will only show you edited videos and claim BH victory.
Be wise. I'm not saying we are not at war but the truth is, most of the so-called BH gains are in truth not what the media presents.

Mad cow shekau just released another video. He proudly displays killing innocent civilians who were trying to escape boko haram attacks dressed as women. In the video he call Gwoza his caliphate.

Its so funny. If Gwoza is the headquarters why is Shekau still shooting videos in the bush? Come out and stay in your so-called caliphate to prove you are really in charge. Or is he afraid if his location is known that would be his end? COWARD
shekau.

I thought the video would be shot at the main entrance to Gwoza Local Govt. Secretariat where "flags are hoisted" or at the palace of the emir where they are also said to "hoist flags" and "appoint their king". Why be a leader of a caliphate and give orders from the bush.

Rubbish almajiri.

PoliticsWhere Is The Picture Of Boko Haram Flags Hoisted In Damboa/Gwoza? by dekronik(op): 6:38pm On Aug 21, 2014
So far, nigerians seem to take over the job of Abu Qaqa who was gunned down by federal troops sometime ago. Someone will sit down at the comfort of his home with his laptop and write down all sorts of headlines. It amazes me sometimes the degree of news spread out by such to the extent that you will think they are the new heads of boko haram public relations departments. I won't mention names but I believe some NLers are pure boko haram apologists. They paint a picture of a war that can NEVER be won and will always tell you that "my cousin from maiduguri" said this or that. Sometimes they will tell you "my cousin entered a bus with army deserters" etc. I laugh when I read such comments. It is said boko haram have taken over Gwoza and Damboa and hoisted "flags". No one has shown me a picture of boko haram flag in Gwoza. Even boko haram supporting sites like saharareporters and BBC hausa have not shown us the pix of boko flags anywhere. In fact, the most recent boko haram video on Damboa attack did not show any "flag" "hoisted". So my question is this; who's interest are these people serving. Nigerian Army will kill 100 boko boyz but such media houses will downplay such events. When boko boys kill 5-10 soldiers you will see headlines such as "Soldiers flee as boko haram overruns army base". Such disrespectull captions insults the very fabric of our national unity. I challenge Shariareporters and BBC hausa to show me pix of boko haram "flag" in Gwoza or Damboa.
