what do you mean by he and his family are being wicked to her? The young man allowed her to go and do her masters only for her to come back and say she was ready for marriage. Few months later she starts acting up.
She wants masters, good, let her go and get it.
The man wants to get married, she should allow him to get married.
I don't see any act of wickedness here.

If the tables we're turned, would you say this? If he got a job or opportunity to study abroad and can not afford to marry her now or take her for 6years or more to be with him and she says no, I can get you a job here in naija, though it won't pay as much but our famy will be together. If he came here to cry, will you not say the woman is an enemy of progress? If she can wait till he can bring her why can't the maa wait till she returns. The way he is rushing this marriage sef as if his life depends on it. She is 22 and can afford to stay a few more years pursuing and achieving her goals before marriage. He is not ready for marriage. To marry and she can only go if her dad sponsors her? Then leave her in her dads house let him sponsor her to what ever heights she chooses to reach. It is quite sad I do not know that girl. She is probably too love blind to see the llight hence she returned to beg him. She will meet many good men in future she should move on. Marriage is not a joke.

People do t investigate before marriage. Even if they do,many girls don't listen to their parents advice. They rather come to No and say help, my parents don't want me to marry the man I love and many kids here will say you are marrying the man not his family bla bla bla. How can an African child say I am marrying the man/woman and not his/her family?
So sad that this happened, it is too much loss for 1 family to bear. This is why I ask people with kids not to mock those without. See how someone lost 3kids withing a few days?

Suicide is not easy to understand. We shouldn't even attempt to justify or work out why anyone would wish to take their own lives. Such people need counselling, and possibly sessions with a psychiatrist. What may affect the mental health of one may be okay with another.

You know some people do not have patience when others are concerned. I just hope the OP reads through this and see that people here feel her pain and are encouraging her to look on the bright side of life. She should pray for Goes guidance and protection on her family and make the best out of her children. I know she is worried,that her husband may impregnate another woman who will give him a boy that will inherit him and that would mean a baby mama or second wife. On the other hand she may just be depressed because of societal attitude towards male children carrying on the family name.
All in all, she should calm down and care for herself for the sake of her children

We planned our kids to be a boy and a girl and we got exactly what we wanted. For people who desire boys or girls, this is how we did it
When tbe month you guys want to get pregnant comes, start having sex exactly 2 weeks after her period for those whose menstrual cycle are like clockwork. Ie if her period stopped on the 9th of April you start having sex from 23rd April. For those whose cycle are not regular, monitor your ovulation do it as soon as you see the sign of ovulation(egg white) your hubby too should hold body for at least 1 week before the planned day cool

But best is to follow your ovulation. The chances of making a boy is greater when the egg is just released. Cos, boy sperms travel faster but die earlier than girl,sperms. So if the egg is not yet released during the time of intercourse, the boy sperms may die off while the girl sperm survives to fertilize the egg as soon as it is released. Na so science explain am o

We potty trained our kids in 1 week. It is a lot easier when the child has a care giver around who is dedicated to helping him/her potty train

They are,worried because, although the bill does not single out any particular,religion, that may give room to the govt of the state tightening the noose around other religions using the law as excuse. I.e, if a Muslim wants to preach in the street or have some public programmes they,will be given permission to go ahead while a Christian will be delayed and even denied permission to,do same. Its like a step mom,that says anybody,that wants to,eat food should let her know before opening the fridge. While this law seems harmless and normal, it may be used as a tool to starve the stepchild whose request to go eat or drink from the fridge would be monitored and frequently denied while the children of the step parents always get the go ahead to eat and drink any time they ask for it.

Hmnnn, don't really know o. With my knowledge in bakery I would have made chinchin, cakes and coated peanuts to supply secondary schools, shops and hawkers if I was smart enough as at then. It all depends on what you know how to do. Fixing phones or computers, selling clothes, installing electrical appliances, making tee-shirt and banners etc. I don't know for sure

Nigeria has a lot of cultures I guess the few things we have in common are
*We respect elders
*We do not like people smelling food we offer them especially if they end up not eating it.
*We greet neighbours when we see them making it a duty to greet those older than you first before they greet you.
*Give transport fare to younger guests or visitors when they pay you a visit
*Offer food/drinks to guests when they pay you a visit
*We don't like Amebo
