I don't like Tecno Phones. People complain that it gets Hot so easily.

My iPhone 12 Promax got stolen recently and I have no plan for another but can not remain Phone-less this season.

I have to map-out emergency 100K for an Android Phone since I don't have enough for an iPhone now.

However, I want to ensure I invested it in a good Phone Android that can serve me well for at least 6months before I have fund for another better Phone.

Someone suggested I go for OPPO but I have not used it before. Please, kindly help me with your suggestion.

The Faceoff Between Senator Ifeanyi Uba and Simon Ekpa

If the threats of attacks and counter threats of revenge by non state actors in the South East of Nigeria are anything to go by, the development in Sudan may become a child's play with the kinds of fratricidal crises that may erupt in that region.


Emerging development in the region shows that there may be a dangerous implosion very soon in the unless urgent measures are taken to nip the issues on bud. In a viral video, a group which sounded same method of the Simon Ekpa version of Independent People of Biafra, IPOP, recently warned Sen. Ifeanyi Uba, representing Anambra South senatorial district, of the danger that awaits him if he continues to disrupt the Sit -at-Home order of IPOP. The group in the video vowed to deal mercilessly with anyone who disobey the order. The group pointedly accused Senator Uba of arming the youths of Nnewi, a commercial Town in Anambra state, with sophisticated weapons to resist the Sit-At-Home order. The only solutions to solving the Sit-At-Home order now, they said, is the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOP, who has been in detention for a while and not Uba's establishment of a counter force. They alleged that Uba's activities so far had confirmed the allegations that they held against him long time ago that he had a hand in the arrest in Kenya and incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu in Nigeria. They also accused Hope Uzodinma, governor of Imo state as a collaborative ally to Uba in frustrating the efforts to set Kanu free.


But Uba, in a well attended gathering at Nnewi, has threatened to venge his revenge on Simon Ekpa, acclaimed leader of the Independent People of Biafra, IPOP, in the absence of Kanu, who lives in Finland, should anything untoward happens to him or the people of his zone.


The threat by Uba this time stemmed from the earlier order by Ekpa declaring a total lockdown of the entire South East with almost a two week Sit-At-Home order, starting from first week of July. Uba bemoaned the fact that Ekpa would stay in his comfort zone in Finland and be declaring anarchy in the South East. Uba who claimed that Ekpa had singled him out for elimination reminded Ekpa that his own (Ekpa ) family, father, mother and siblings are still in Nigeria. Rather than threatening him and Anambra state, Uba advised Ekpa to take his threats to Ebonyi State where Ekpa is believed to have hailed from. Meanwhile, the governor of Enugu State, Peter Mba, despite serious apprehension in the state, has threatened to sanction anyone who obeys Ekpa's orders and abandone his duties.


In the same vain, Ebonyi state government, despite recent tensions created by those trying to enforce Ekpa's orders in the state, had assurred the people that they are in control and they should go about their normal business. A statement by the commissioner for information, Jude Ikpor tried to assure the people that government is ready to counter Ekpa orders. But events of July 4, where Gun wielding youths believed to be enforcers of Ekpa's order, took over the streets of Abakaliki, shooting, burning and disrupting commercial activities, without a single government resistance tend to leave the people in confusion which directives to now obey. The consensus however is that if the threats of the non state actors in the zone are not promptly managed, the fratricidal implosion that may occur in the region may not be controlled by government.

It was reviewed recently that it's been really a very difficult time for former Governor of Ebonyi State Mr. David Umahi at the ongoing election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja

It was allegedly reported that a staff of the INEC and the former Governor may be heading to prison soon for a criminal offences bordering on forgery and criminal conspiration

The story has it...

In a bid to establish his case at the Ebonyi South Senatorial Election Petition Tribunal against Mr Umahi, Hon. Linus Okorie applied for a Certified True Copy (CTC) of BVAS report from INEC Nigeria and was given one, duly signed

Surprisingly, it was allegedly reported that the former Governor Umahi was in possession of a different BVAS report for same Senate election, also duly signed by INEC

It was alleged that the intention was to use the (now discovered as forged) document to 'deceive' the court and thwart the course of Justice

Hon.Linus quickly wrote to INEC asking them to confirm between the two reports which is authentic

The INEC replied, affirming that the one issued to Hon. Linus is AUTHENTIC while the one 'purportedly' issued to former Governor Umahi is FAKE

Hon. Linus didn't stop there,

He wrote again to INEC, asking them to give him another Certified True Copy (CTC) of BVAS report for Ebonyi South Senate election

INEC quickly complied and issued him a fresh CTC of the BVAS report

It was compared, and it related COMPLETELY with the earlier issued CTC and differed COMPLETELY to the one purportedly issued to former Governor Umahi

It's now fully established, that what the former Governor is holding is a forged document, in connivance with one Nnenna Essien of INEC's ICT department, Abuja.

This is a clear case of forgery. It's a criminal offence and punishable under Nigerian laws

I learnt also, that the legal team of Hon. Linus has written to the force headquarters

Asking them to take appropriate action. It's really a serious issue

He former Governor no longer has immunity and so I learnt he's been dodging public appearances

He's been making efforts to use his contact with the Presidency to shield himself from arrest

But can Tinubu Presidency descend so low by protecting offenders, even those involved in criminal cases?. I doubt it.

The implication of these alleged offences is weighty

If found true as evidences point toward, the former governor will not only lose his temporary Senate Seat in court but also face criminal charges

Many believe and it's actually true that former Governor Umahi didn't win the Ebonyi South Senate election. He manipulated his way through

It's berserk and defile logic that in a Senatorial Zone where APC lost the two Federal House of Representatives seats that she(APC) would win the Senate Seat

By the way, Hon. Linus has 22nd of June to end his case as a petitioner in court and the defence of the respondents(Dave Umahi, APC and INEC) will also be heard in due course.

For you to get appropriate witness, Forensic Audit has to be done on the BVAS. I'm sure you know that INEC has not released that to LP

They also need certain documents to be ready to call the witnesses and these documents have not been provided by INEC.

The 7 weeks request is due to delays from INEC not that Witnesses are not ready.

LP wants to get all things right and 7 weeks will be enough to get all needed materials for the witnesses.

A Philanthropist from Ebonyi State by name Chief Chibueze Nwigwe Uzo, the CEO of Omni Excel Ltd (Omni Phone Accessories) hails from Ugwulangwu Ezeokechima community in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

Through his Non-Profit and Non-Governmental organization called Omni Foundation, he had dedicated efforts towards empowering students in his community.

His Omni Foundation gives cash Award of N500,000(Five Hundred Thousand Naira) to any graduate from his community who graduates with First Class Honours.

This is in addition to yearly Bursary Award to ALL undergraduates (University and Polytechnic) from his village and scholarship Awards to Secondary school students.

The OMNI Foundation, a non-governmental and non-profit making body, has commenced the disbursement of students' bursary awards for the year 2023.

According to the Foundation's Executive Director, Dr David Ogbonna Chita, the Chief Executive Officer of OMNI Foundation, Chief Chibueze Nwigwe Uzo, has magnanimously approved the immediate disbursement of a total sum of five million, seven hundred and sixty thousand naira(N5,760,000), which represents the sum of twenty thousand naira(N20,000) to each of the 288 applicants who met the necessary requirements for this year's bursary awards.

Omni Foundation has consistently embarked on this philanthropic gesture for four successful years. In the previous years, students who made First Class in their various fields of study were awarded five hundred thousand naira each. Unfortunately, no student qualified for such lump sum payment this year, a situation that is attributed to the protracted industrial action embarked upon in 2022 by university workers which disrupted academic activities for nearly nine months.

The Foundation's CEO, Chief Chibueze Nwigwe Uzo, enjoins the beneficiaries to face their studies seriously, while promising to do his best to keep the scheme running.
