It wasnt a set-up,

What would BAA gain if the set up an air hostess?
an air hostess or the whole airline? they can push this to their parliament and win on not allowing owned airlines from Nigeria. Look at it in a political view and with the current affairs on ground.

@dave619, it will be very ignorant of you to come down to Nigeria and treat them otherwise.

TravelRe: Going To Nigeria: Expired Passport: Big Problem: by dellnet: 5:13pm On Dec 20, 2011
I just input your info into IATA it said "The documentation you hold is sufficient based on your details and the itinerary provided. "

I put your nationality as Nigerian, your place of residence as USA, your passport issued BY USA, your US passport expire somewhere in the future. Then it added this

"Holders of old style machine readable passports issued to nationals of Nigeria are permitted to enter Nigeria. However, these passports are not valid for departure from Nigeria and should be replaced by a new biometric passport."

So why don't you call the airline and give them the exact info above and hear what they say?

When I put expired Nigerian passport and Nigerian national it said no, you must travel on valid documents.

Why don't you use the little time you have left to go to Atlanta and get Emergency Travel Certificate or visa itself I think there is express service? However, if you can get on the plane just have someone to wait for you at the airport in Nigeria. I strongly suggest you go to Atlanta first.

Who discriminate you in Ghana? There is a good relationship between Ghanaians and Nigerians especially those from North, they marry each other etc. I know a lot of Ghanaian families in Lagos married to Northerners. So what are you saying, it is even a joke for Ghanaians to discriminate Nigerians infact how could they? I don't know what point you are trying to make here.
TravelRe: Our Raw Deal In The Hands Of Malaysian Police, By Nigerian Students by dellnet: 2:36pm On Dec 20, 2011
Is what happens in the news that matters? I thought you are in Malaysia, what about what happens on the street and in real life?

Indonesian prostitutes in Beach Club? hmm if you say filipinos I can say yes, even those filipinos are not prostitutes depending on how you play your game. I have been there and never saw any indonesian prostitute besides you cant really say who is who among indonesians and malays. Who said anything about singaporeans discriminating and this reminds me, I once took a train from KL to singapore and I was sided out me, some thais and I believe some indians so what do you say about this aint it discrimination? Stay focus and make a point, I thought you said you work with oil company which I assume you are offshore.

I dont know how you perceive things may be you guys are not fast enough to detect racism and discrimination or you don't know it, I don't care what settings you are in professional or not just get on a bus or train in any of these places and observe the attitude of people. Maybe you guys just glue to your PC and don't mingle in the society thats why you come on here and say things in a shallow way just for small and cheap talks.

wanaj0:
NB: Malaysians treat Indonesians in the same way. They've reduced visa for Indonesian women when they found out that they were mainly involved in prostitution. I see them clamping down on the Vietnamese to.
This is a lie where do you get your facts from? If you say thai women I will say yes, most indonesians I see go there to work in factories, restaurants, homes etc and they get abused sexually, mentally and physically not long ago Indonesia stopped sending maids to Malaysia, I don't know if they have settled now or not.

When singapore was asked why they stopped visa on arrival for Nigerians they could not give a definite answer but as much people were not abused in singapore as it is now in Malaysia.

@justwise Nigerians in America have a very clean record. I know successful and well established Nigerians whom are positively part of the society and contribute to it.

Is it only Nigerians that commit crime in the world? come to Thailand and see the rate of crimes committed by foreigners, me if you ask me I will say is a black thing and inferior versus superior thing, they look at us as inferior and we look at them as easy ticket to make money and they get caught off guard, I am sure this is what is behind most Nigerians living abroad that "these places are easy and a fast way to make money good or bad".

People come on here and post Nigerians why not post Criminals or Nigerian Criminals, this is what is pissing me off. If you post Nigerians you generalize the whole thing. Nigerian criminals are scamming Nigerians themselves but that is not the view if you are a Nigerian here you are part of it. This is travel section not crime section and anything here should be related to travel advisory, for me criminals or not criminals I will advice people to stay away from places like Malaysia.

You see now you are already misjudging and feeling inferior about the issue what evidence do you have that these guys are truly criminals? So you want to tell me that the population of Nigerian Criminals in Malaysia is more than the legit Nigerians? If so then I blame their system which I have already pointed out in previous posts that there are so much flaws in it.

WebmastersRe: Good Host For High-traffic\commercial Website by dellnet: 7:17pm On Dec 19, 2011
There are things to consider when deploying your website.
1. Where are your users browsing from?
2. What kind of contents are you serving (i.e video, text only, audio)?
3. How much are you willing to spend per month?

In America they could care less where you come from I don't know how it is in UK. Trust me if all Nigerians should leave Malaysia there will be a change in the education sector. My friend in Malaysia said they raided their campus and now he is afraid to go out because he does not want to encounter the police, not that he is illegal but he said he just don't need the delay and abuse. The questioning arising in Malaysia is "how can these students own these sort of things?" they just don't believe it that Africans are that rich. The general view of blacks in South East Asia or Asia as a whole is a derogatory view. The whole thing is generalized now they don't care if you are legit or not, as long as you are Nigerian they look at you with that dimmed eyes. To them black is evil etc. Just look at how they treat the Indian-Malaysians in Malaysia. They have no standing in the eyes of the society. They say if you see a snake and an Indian, kill the Indian and let the snake go. So imagine. . .

I am telling you all these from my personal experience, so Africans should just forget about SE Asia. Just check something out in Thailand, African nationals are subject to additional checking by the immigration while other National don't experience it. Seriously enough is enough I am tired of living in a foreign land looking for cheap. As well Nigerians should ignore that cheap education in Malaysia and look for proper place to be educated.
TravelRe: Our Raw Deal In The Hands Of Malaysian Police, By Nigerian Students by dellnet: 5:37pm On Dec 19, 2011
It is more of staying away from Malaysia because it is a racist country, they can't separate the criminals from the non-criminals, now every Nigerian is a target there, why risk it? For those that are genuine students should stay away from there and look else.

If all Nigerians leave I know for sure the economy will shake especially the immigration and education sector.

When we schooled in USA we drove big cars and changed cars frequently, we had 52" TVs, we had all sort of electronics, we dated their girls, we partied in our houses. At one point a neighbor called the police to shut our loud music at a friends' house, they just told us to lower the music and left. When we got pulled over they don't ask us how we got this or that they just give us citation if necessary and off we go. When any of us is locked up we post bail and the person is released immediately. The story goes on and on.

My advice to Nigerians please stay away from Malaysia good or bad. If you can't stay in Nigeria, go to other African countries that you can rub shoulders with your fellow blacks. Angola, SA are all good places.

ProgrammingRe: Can A Nigeria Programmer Afford A Range Rover Sport? by dellnet: 2:29pm On Dec 19, 2011
The highest that I sold a software as one module is US$1500. Don't think about software think about a system in general. The fastest catch is to develop a system that an entire industry can use, this way you can drive a Range quicker than you think. Word of advice; if you are into programming for the money you may be disappointed quicker than you think.

Look they cant even catch a criminal in Malaysia,,,thats why they go at random tormenting innocent people. Malaysian soceity has political, racial and human rights problem. In Nigeria do crime and see what happens to you. When the world slapped Nigerian Government about yahoo yahoo what happened? no human was abused but tactical and smart measure were taken to stop it. And what happened? the boys flew to Malaysian and now Malaysia is not smart enough to handle it.
They are UK/US/Australian schools! Not affiliation!
By saying this I know you are a fraud. Justwise please mark this guy.

The information I am about to give you is not verified and I don't know what your status is but most of these Caribbean countries are visa free or visa on arrival to Nigerians just do your homework.
TravelRe: Nigerians In Malaysia by dellnet: 4:30pm On Dec 13, 2011
All this talk is nonsense because if you were a Malaysian you are not in a position to shove the visa into your behind.
Look here Nigerians pay the most of it in Malaysia, and about these UK/USA/AUSTRALIAN affiliation that you guys are brained washed with is a hoax. A classroom in Malaysia can never be a classroom in USA. You think the affiliates universities can buy you ticket to UK or USA? Your little wizzles brought from india to teach you?
Your thinking learning ends in the class? the classroom is a just a theoretical part of it. Learning is out there in the society and for as far as I am concerned Malaysian society is whacked, they should deal with it first before pointing fingers to Nigerians or other blacks.
