You have been against the lady way before AWCON. It is really ok if you don't like her but outrightly saying she is not good enough despite the fact that the last time you watched her was years ago is quite laughable. Maybe I she moved to the US, she will be good enough.

She’s quoting as if the Russian League is been played by U20’s…. There very good talents in the RWSL and all round football there is way ahead of the Israel, Turkish, Saudi Arabia and Polish League..

The girl have been on the rise from Nigeria—Belarus—Poland and now Russia in a space of 4years.

I think have found a New Favorite Youngster to Support Henceforth…!

England U17 International Lola Brown, who plays for Chelsea Academy! This Girl literally reminded me of Megan Rapinoe, she looks like her, run like her, plays mostly on the left flank, Crosses the ball like her, good at set pieces… Like everything about her reminds me of Megan Rapinoe!!

Arsenal’s Omotara Junaid draws attention of Nigeria’s Football Federation

Arsenal’s Omotara Junaid is making waves, attracting attention from the Nigeria Football Federation. Discover her journey from Arsenal U16s to a possible international career.
Omotara Junaid, a promising talent from Arsenal Women U16s, is being tracked by the Nigeria Football Federation.
Junaid, having thrived at Arsenal, has the potential to represent three nations – Nigeria, England, and the United States.
Despite representing the Young Lionesses in non-binding matches, Junaid could opt for Nigeria if offered the opportunity.
In the world of football, there’s always a search for the next big thing. For the Nigeria Football Federation, it seems their eyes have landed on Omotara Junaid, the rising star of Arsenal‘s Women U16s.
Born in the United States to Nigerian parents, Omotara spent a part of her childhood in Nigeria before moving to England. This journey means that she’s eligible to represent three nations on the international stage: Nigeria, the United States, and England.

Although the English Football Association have already claimed Omotara’s services, owing to her appearances in a binding games for the Young Lionesses, it is believed she harbours a fondness for Nigeria. If given the chance, she would likely opt for the Super Falcons in the future according to AllNigeriaSoccer.com.
At Arsenal, Junaid has proven herself an indispensable part of the squad. As the club’s second-highest goalscorer in the FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway League, she was a significant contributor to the U16s’ Invincible season and league title victory. Having found the net nine times, Junaid’s prowess as a box-to-box midfielder is apparent.
Arsenal’s youth team coaches have tried her out as a right-back, but ultimately believe her talents are best utilised in a number 8 role. They describe Junaid as a versatile player, comfortable on the ball, unafraid to tackle, and possessing a commendable physique for her age. As a winger, she is also adept at unsettling the opposition with her dynamism and flair.
Football prowess, it seems, runs in the family. Her older brother, Tolu, was very close to being selected for the Golden Eaglets squad for the Africa U17 Cup of Nations in Algeria. Despite a series of impressive performances in friendly matches, he was unfortunately dropped from the squad.
With her impressive performance at Arsenal and the Nigeria Football Federation’s interest, Omotara Junaid seems poised for an exciting career trajectory. Only time will tell if this young talent chooses to represent the Super Falcons, making a significant leap in her blossoming football career.

Chikwelu , faith and Anam imo when last did they play for super falcons even though they are not retired from international football, randy is not looking their side anymore he shut the door on them just like onome she's not retired but randy won't call her again and you should know from the start ihezuo was big part of randy squad ...maclean only went to awcon because of esther injury and fans making noise

I put their name there because it happened to them in the past under different coaches…!

Macleans was very much inform and just won the Golden Boot of the Polis Women’s League then which gave her that extra edge nothing like because one or another was injured. She earned her spot and Randy spoke well of her, and she’s currently doing fine!

Not getting a call up now doesn’t mean she won’t be given a chance again, I remember how the Door was shut against the likes of Rita Chikwelu, Faith Ikidi, Ogbonnna Chukwudi, Anam IMO, Ebere Orji, Chinwendu Ihezuo and many more in the past and still got called up again..

Look how Ihezuo played her way back in Mexico, if she gets to her top level performance again she will get a look, the Door isn’t closed yet except she retires by the way she’s still 24yrs.. Enough time to come back!

You Nigerians are a funny lot...
The days of power football is long gone. The modern game is all about speed, slickness and finishing. That's why the likes of Salma Paralluelo, Trinity Rodman, Sophia Smith, Maria Katoto, Rachel Daly and others are a hot commodity.
On the Nigerian front, the likes of Kanu, Ihezuo and Oshoala are thriving, while gra-gra players like Oparanozie, retired, and now her look alike - Macleans, are a thing of the past.
Again, speed of thought and pace, slickness and finishing.
Enough with this up selling of this lady, please!

Can you just come clean that you don’t like Macleans as a Player or maybe you have your personal grudge against her because I see no way that this Lady is a Bad Striker…

She has grown a lot as a Player, From Nigeria to Belarus down to Poland and now Russia.. The girl is on a rise she still have age on her side as she will be 25 this year.!

I believe if she was playing in the NWSL, France or Spain you won’t be talking her down.
