Still missing a true, out and out left back.
Okeke is a right footed player who doubles as a left back.

I’m the past we have used Right Footed Left Backs more than Natural Lefties… Faith Ikidi, Helen Ukaonu, Faith Ikidi who’s the best Left Back till date is Right footed..

Okeke is no Stranger to that Position as she has been playing in Multiple positions right from FC Robo before joining the National team, You forget so soon that at the U20 World Cup she was a Center Back, Played mainly as Right Back for the SuperFalcons earlier on before coming in sometimes as CB or LB!

At Madrid CFF she was a Left Back in 98% of the games she played.. Going to Israel 🇮🇱 she played Left Back and Right Back!

In Japan more as a CB/RB

Her versatility will definitely make Randy have her more in the team, Let’s just agree that she’s a Defender (FB/CB)

This 4 in one Group…!

🚨And so the story goes for 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 having qualified for the 2024 Olympics.

Falcons defeated South Africa 1-0 on aggregate and made their way through to the global games fiesta for the first time in 16 years.

I see a minimum of 5points from this Group!
If at all we didn’t leave up to the Billing it becomes 4 Points.!

Okay!
I will be the first to stand up and eat humble pie that's due.
I said Okeke wasn't impressive from the videos of her I saw playing in Japan. I called her sluggish and heavy and doubted her being invited. Boy - was I wrong. Very wrong!
She put in a masterclass performance over the two legs and most especially, today. She stood up to be counted as one of our warriors.
My Lady of the Match!

Okeke is back in full, but where does she comes in?? Left or Right Back??

The Roaster for the Olympics is very very thin… If they stick to the 18, it’s going to be difficult for Randy to pick his 18players even though he knows them too well, everyone of them need to be on their toes! Stay fit and play well.

With Chidinma Okeke Back to where she belongs
It’s clear now that the players in Defense now are…

1. Osinachi Ohale
2. Blessing Demehin
3. Ashleigh Plumptre
4. Michelle Alozie
5. Chidinma Okeke
6. Nicole Payne
7. Rofiat Imuran

Chidinma Okeke seems to have reinstalled herself into the SuperFalcon Squad, I fear for Rofiat Imuran to be sincere!

Chidinma Okeke gives you a lot of Options LB, RB and CB, she just need to improve in her Attacking side of the game and also play her way back to the top leagues in Europe!

Some Persons here did wrote her off though, that she was heavy this and that..! At least she proved everyone wrong that she can attain her usual level and better still get better.

If they play the way they played S.A at the Olympics then Brazil Spain will eat them up.

Gift Monday played well in the World Cup and it's important to start grooming and training them for National first team football.

Lol 😂
You’re sounding as if the SuperFalcons won’t prepare for the Olympics, they will just sit down and not work! 15games unbeaten, you think they will relent??

Chiamaka Nnadozie appreciation post! 👏👏

Made good saves in the second half, and ensured Nigeria did not concede against the South Africans!!

Flying like an airline... Safe hands for Naija! 🧤🥅

"An Amaka wey no dey disappoint..." Best goalie for a reason 🤭🤭

First things first

Give Randy Waldrum a 5 year Contract

Abeg 2 or 3 Years is enough if they throughly want the team more compact!

The most important thing is to also bring back Terry Eguaoje to the Coaching Staff Infact, the Coaching Staff for the World Cup should just do the work

Super Falcons needs Ajakaye, Gift Monday and Flourish Sebastine as soon as possible..

Players that can run with the ball and keep possession are needed.

Which Monday Gift…. Flourish Sabastine that hasn’t been able to settle down at Stade De Reims, 🇫🇷

It's more or less like whenever Joe has the ball, she's almost alone with none of Ayinde or Debbie in sight. Most of her contact has been with the marked Ajibade. Debbie or Ayinde need to get more involved in attack so she can make things work before they dispossess her.

This swart no sabi. Who go fire shot now?

Onyi Echegini have done well even though she has lost some share of possessions! She have created few chances but again
Our double pivots behind her are too far away because of defensive duties, Maybe one of Debbie/Ayinde need to be a little be offensive. But again we have done well…

If Asisat Oshoala is to come in she need to do the pressing Job Ihezuo is doing at least so that they won’t be able to play from Behind…

I also think the referee have been very fair and Right with her decisions!!

Again where is Thembi Kgatlana??

That was Kanu, again! Second match she missed a sitter.
Two players who have been beyond poor:
1. Ajibade
2. Kanu.

Kanu is worse in this case!

Randy should know that Ajibade need to be touchable in his starting 11 so that she can as well sit-up!

South African forward, Thembi Kagtlana keeps insinuating that the Nigerian football facilities used in the first leg against the Super Falcons was left unmanaged purposely , including the ball used for the match.🤔

Lol 😂
As of our Players don’t know how to use Better Facilities, the whole Starting 11 are foreign based that plays in Better and well equipped facilities week in week out in their base.. What rubbish is Thembi Saying?? I just want our Girls to beat them fair and Square at least 2Nil so that they would know that we’re not in same level and they don’t have depth like we do.!

A couple of changes from the first leg as Coach Desiree Ellis names her starting line-up for this evening's clash with the Super Flacons 🇳🇬

Same lineup it seems

Is Randy trying to deceive the Ellis? Because I believe she would be expecting to see either Oshoala or Okoronkwo start at the End, Ihezuo.

I just hope Ihezuo gives a better performance than what she has done in the First Leg..

...This is also means there is legit fear in S.A's camp.

I don’t think the SuperFalcons will really feel this their I’ll treatment from SA as they already know how the African sides are always hostile… Even the Foreign Born in the team should be used to this already..

We will be having our final training 6:30Pm this evening

Kanu in describing their trip said they saw "Shege Banza". She didn't go into specifics so can't say it it is something within the control of the NFF or just usual Nigeria wahala.

We just have to do better sha. Can't imagine putting compatriots who have the responsibility to qualify the nation to the Olympics under undue stress.

Yeah yeah, SA are trying to frustrate the SuperFalcons there with their ill treatment, giving them wack bus to convey the girls… Imagine Oluehi telling Kanu and Ihezuo how very bad the bus they’ve been given compared to the one NFF gave to South Africa over here in Nigeria!

Sevilla Femenino's Winger, Tony Payne, has addressed the issue of Super Falcons players scoring more goals for their clubs than for their country.

“Obviously, the national level is quite high. When you are playing in the national team, the connection might not be as strong by default, but we have a really good team and we trust each other, and I think the goals will come,” she stated.

However .....This Low Scoring Ahbi difficulty in Scoring goals have to be address when we meet south africa in the second leg and henceforth...
We must plan for a cut out victory in their home..

Some one with a technical ability should be given the job to break dem down.... No one person should be our target striker, we hav to prepare to blast dem from all corners.... And mount the pressure on them!!
