This current NFF won't hire him. Maybe another NFF board. Also why pay USD if Madugu delivershuh? And Madugu must have very strong backers because Randy wanted him gone outrightly and the NFF stood their grounds.
Madugu, Ann, Danjuma all have a Strong backing there and they can’t challenge the NFF as well on whatever they do..…

Unlike the likes of Omagbemi, Akide, Ayisat, Ayegba, Okosieme etc.

I would have reveled some things here but some persons will know I’m the one who said it here. Let me just keep it to myself.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 4:14pm On Jun 30, 2025
Anyway Randy talked about the Super Falcons chance of winning the WAFCON. And he said if Madugu pick the right players they will win because the players are always ready to give their all on the pitch. But if they mix things up it may not go their way. He also said the Coaching is not there but the players are there..

Randy wants to come back, but said he will only accept the Job if he’s allowed to picked his Staff all by himself.. Which i know NFF won’t because they must put their People in One or two positions among the Coaches..

From the Video they posted while about to enter the Bus before the game against Ghana yesterday, I think i saw a bandage on her left thigh, Though was having the mixed feelings that it’s her Underwear or something else don’t know.

I just hope she’s okay first.

I thought she was good
Did you see her as a bad player??

The Coach didn’t play her doesn’t mean she wouldn’t get game time at the WAFCON. Let’s be patient WAFCON no far again..

You're blaming a goalkeeper for conceding a pk? undecided na wa o
I’m not blaming her, I’m only saying she’s the one who conceded the goal Ghana Scored. By the way she isn’t good either.

CAF really needs to do something about these female men playing in women's competitions
I think it’s beyond CAF right now, since FIFA ain’t even saying or doing anything about it..

If Banda, Mupopo, Prisca and Co can play at the World Cup and Olympics I don’t think any changes can be effected except it comes from FIFA first.

Zambia Youngster to watch out for at the WAFCON
Fridah Mukoma…

She plays for Beijing FC in China 🇨🇳 on loan from NWSL Clubside Kansas City Current and nicked Barbra Banda Junior..

This transfer doesn't make sense to me football progression wise. Maybe the financial incentive makes a lot more sense than staying in France, but kinda have missed feelings about her joining a team with no hope of playing in the champions league and competing for a title.
Howhuh Apart from Champions League Football, what else will she be missing?? Age is still on her side..!
The English league is way more competitive than the French league, a breath of fresh air for her, good pay and an opportunity to develop and she can as well move to any of the bigger top4 clubs in the league or even back to France to Lyon or PSG when the time come..

It’s a good move!

Brighton Finished 5th last season, there’s room for improvement and she will play alongside some England top internationals and other international players.

What’s more important is having a top Back up goalkeeper for her in the National team..

I believe why many do not get their flowers enough (or no flowers atall) is because of the poor media hype around the team in entirety. Then add the journalists that have their faves or major focus too.

Imagine many just finding out about Echegini in the Cameroon and Portugal games, they finally called her Female Iwobi. Some dunno she even plays for PSG and Juve prior. Lol.

Ohale is one solid player that never gets her own deserved hype as well. Even if she seems reserved, the pen should do her justice alrounda.

No journo go see to hype Ayinde now, that it took Randy to do the needful away from the job o(Madugu don ever talk about the brilliance of an individual atall?) lol

We need the pen and camera to do justice to these guys abeg.
I think as for Ohale, Onome Ebi popularity played a part as well because she takes more of the praises whereas Ohale was literally covering a lot of ground for her as well..

Ohale walked into Super Falcons Starting 11 straight up after 2010 U20 World Cup, Won the WAFCON same year as a starter then with the team and was assigned to mark the Almighty Salimata Simpore then who was accused of being a man then..

In From 2007- 2010 we had Christy George who was even captain then, Ulunma Jerome, Onome Ebi, Lilian Cole, Faith Ikidi and Co as starters then.

Cos of her speed precisely. I hope her teammates are in tune to that and i hope the manager is planning along side such an advantage too? No he where she go dey make runs and teammates go dey avoid or misplace pass o.
You’re right, I just hope her pace translates to the National team level because it’s a different ball game playing College and Pro Football..
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 1:17pm On Jun 27, 2025
I so much love how Randy Waldrum praised Halimatu Ayinde in his recent interview with EaglesTracker..

He talked how tactically brilliant Ayinde is, and how she understands the game…

One of the reasons she should always start in midfield for the Falcons as long as she’s fit and still playing at the highest level giving her all… Ayinde isn’t perfect but she brings a lot of confidence and Calmness to that Midfield..

SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 1:24pm On Jun 26, 2025
Desire Oparanozie said Stella Mbachu is the Fastest Player she ever played with in the Super Falcons..

Asisat Oshoala nko??

Return of Stella? I'll be on the lookout. Once American they take athleticism and fitness so seriously in sports. We're the opposite(Ofili saga)
Not Stella Abeg… If nah right winger now e for make sense. Okafor is Left footed but uses both feet’s effectively..

And we really needed a runner in that Attack, Cause upfront we were lacking that fast and furious kind of wide forward we used to have in the days of Stella Mbachu, Rita Nwadike, Vera Okolo, Chichi Igbo etc that would run at you with the ball and cause havoc…

Meanwhile as Chioma Okafor is still a student, can she collect camp allowances etc from 9ja? I remember this fine lady back then, Emenike's cousin couldn't receive money then cos she was playing college soccer.
Okay… So Chioma Okafor was literally participating in 3 Sports when she go to the US earlier on before finally settling down with Football..

She won several awards doing that as well. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/16mb4vCgUv/?mibextid=wwXIfr

She runs track, plays Basketball and Football

100M, 200M and 4X100M as well us Long jump and triple Jump.., her team broke the 13years school record of 4X100 relay…

This line-up na wa ooo. Onumonu should have started ahead of Ordega and Plumpter ahead of Oladipo. Even our substitute bench is lean. May we not get walloped today.
Arrival matters, They probably didn’t get to camp as earlier as thought.! Again Shukurat and co still need to be tested to see how they can serve as Back or even start..

I wish there was one u17 in this team. Like Moshood or the goalkeeper, Ozioma.
u17 goalkeeper?🥹🥹🥹

We were clamoring for those from U20/ those playing abroad you’re bringing in U17 right now? What makes you think she’s a better choice than the likes of Omilana, Okeke, Akarekor etc??

Esther Okoronkwo is good. I'm happy she made the WAFCON list. He is skillful and has great eyes for goal
She need to put more effort like she plays like someone not too serious but she does a lot though🤣🤣🤣

Yeah... Ucheibe, Ayinde and Deborah are worthy starters but only two can start with Tony and Onyi battling for the last spot. That's a big headache for him.
I hope Oga Madugu use the 4-2-3-1 formation used by Randy in the past.., Because this formation plays two Central Defensive Midfielders, an attacking midfielder in between two fast wide forwards, and a Center forward. It's known for its defensive stability, midfield control, and ability to transition quickly between defense and attack..

And i think the kind of Midfielders we have favours this 4-2-3-1 formation a lot..

When it comes to invitation list as far as Nigerian football is concerned, perfection is an illusion.

Gutted that Gift couldn't make the list (but ordega who has nothing to offer did) but no need dwelling on that

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how the coach utilizes this crop of players.
His (Madugu) major problem will be the Combination in Midfield.. who will he play, he likes Abiodun very much but will Ayinde back.

Is tough oo

I think a very fit Ayinde is one player in the Super Falcons Midfield that must start. Ucheibe plays better alongside Ayinde in Midfield and i hope he understands that too..
