Is it really that tough? I don’t think so.

If we make our attack click for the most part, these teams are very beatable for my super falcons.
You Dey talk as if there’s a Tactically Sound Coach somewhere handling the team right now..!

It won’t be easy for any of those Ex-Super Falcons Internationals who are Coaches to get the job except External Body with more power gets involved..

We have
1• Florence Omagbemi a born winner at any level🏆 🇺🇸
2• Mercy Akide Udoh 🇺🇸
3• Nkiru Okosieme 🇺🇸
4• Ayisat Yusuf Aromire 🇫🇮
5• Rachael Ayegba 🇫🇮/🇬🇧 (Goalkeeper Coach)

This ladies played at the highest level and have worked as head Coaches, Assistant coaches with the National team, U20, Top Clubs, College teams and Academics..

They can pick the best 3 to work together just as they did back in 2016 with Florence, Ann and Nkwocha.
I will go with a crew of Florence Omagbemi, Mercy Akide Udoh and Ayisat Yusuf then Racheal Ayegba as Goalkeeper Coach..

Or
Mercy Akide Udoh, Nkiru Okosieme and Ayisat Yusuf Crew…

But the problem is this ladies are well exposed and won’t tolerate NFF nonsense behaviors.!

Eloquently said. I wouldn’t mind Mercy Akide or even Austin Eguavoen coaching the team.

With regard to Akide, I know people will say you cannot really compare mens with women’s football; but we could borrow a leaf from Barcelona who hired Guardiola despite not having managed a senior side at the time. His only coaching experience was as coach of the Barcelona academy team.
Yet, we all saw how he succeeded with Barca. Heck Akide can’t be worse than Madugu

Smart coaches try to kill off games early enough by using their best legs first and then unleashing their hidden jokers later on. This mumu coach, i dont know where he learnt his own coaching from.
If I talk dem go say I Dey against Local Coaches

Just because he played 2-1 with France, 1-1 with Portugal they think he’s good enough..🤣😂😂😂

How did this man get the job to coach the super falcons?
So NFF cannot engage the services of Ex - falcon players who are now coaches doing pretty well overseas?.
See the Jam body football our ladies are playing. No cohesion, no link up play, no pattern. Just kick and follow.
Dem swear for us for this country?
Padi Padi over meritocracy and competency.
I do not see this team beating Zambia or Morocco if they don't up their game.

I won't waste my data watching this game. If Nepa bring light fine if they don't, I won't bother.

Boring game.
So when Randy Waldrum said in that Interview with EaglesTracker that if the Super Falcons wins the tournament is because of the players efforts not the Coaches because the Coaching is not there…!

Imagine saying this confidently when he knows the whole World will see it… That should tell you a lot.

I guess Plumptre and Ohale maybe Alozie are the good players in the match.
Let’s give them the Benefit of Doubt for now as in recent times the Falcons don’t start too well and get better as the tournament progresses..

Players with numbers 13, 14, 18 and 21 do not have any business in Falcons.
Deborah Abiodun is no.13
Blessing Demehin is no.14
Halimatu Ayinde is no. 18
Miracle Usani is no.21 incase you don’t know them😂🙄
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 1:08pm On Jul 08, 2025
Yes they have Barbra Banda, Rachael Kundananji, Kabange Mupopo, Prisca Chilufya, Fridah Mukoma, Ireen Lungu and Rachael Nachula that are with the questionable physical characteristics of a man but shouldn’t cause scare as they will be easier to beat than Morocco 🇲🇦

You saw the way Barbra Banda breezed past those Moroccan defenders, are you sure she can’t get past Ayinde, Ucheibe, Ohale, Demehin or Abiodun easily??

We have very the best Goalkeeper, a Solid Defense and combative Midfielders which any teams in this WAFCON don’t have which gives us an edge first..

Our problem is getting it right upfront with the forwards.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani:
I don’t think this present Zambia was a Strong as the Equatorial Guinea 🇬🇶 of then that had Salimata Simpore no.8 (Striker), Biliguisa Simpore no.5 (Center Back), Blessing Diala 🇳🇬 no.7(Winger), Chinasa Okoro 🇳🇬 no.15 (Midfielder) and the almighty Genoveva Anonman no.10( Striker) .. This ones i mentioned were the one troubling us and i know them very well.

One thing i know for sure is that those players always find it difficult to score against us, Infact they don’t even score, if they were to get a goal another player entirely scores for them because they’re well marked out.

Nigeria do play well against those physical sides, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon where very much physical in the past and we still got around them. And I must say I don’t think Zambia is as Physical as the E/Guinea of the past..

For the quarter finals, I think Morocco would not really be a problem to us if we put our acts together on the day but for Zambia, I just thought of something now though it may sound ridiculous.

Considering the Zambian game is built entirely on their forwards like Barbara and Kundinanji, if we pair Ucheibe and Ohale (then bench Demehin) at the heart of the defence and then Abiodun and Ayinde in defensive midfield, we would frustrate the Zambians big time if we happen to meet.

This was what Randy did to frustrate South Africa at the Olympic qualifiers.
But don’t be worried, Nigeria thrives in such games especially Players like Ayinde, Ucheibe, Abiodun, Ohale, Ajibade, Oshoala etc but I’m a bit worried for Alozie, Plumptre, Payne even though the physical side of their game have really improved..

If Demehin was available in that game she wouldn’t have been on the bench…
Ayinde, Ucheibe and Abiodun covers a lot of ground defensively..

Ayinde will always start as she’s the most Calm and experienced among the trio, so is left for Madugu to pair her with Ucheibe or Abiodun..

I think I will pick and Ayinde and Ucheibe pair because the Chemistry btw them look better and Abiodun to come in once any of them look worked up....

But again I think we need a really Strong and Combative Center Back with a good physique that can battle Demehin for in that spot because she seems to be relaxed, like no one is there to bench her for now..

One of the reason I miss Chidinma Okeke another very Strong and aggressive player who recently had a foot surgery.. If she was available at least in those Physical game we would be very secured to have her come in..!

Can Madugu please play Esther Okoronkwo, Chioma Okafor and Rinsola Babajide upfront. I want to check something
To me not at this stage…
If he wants to make any changes upfront since he’s not going to play Ajibade on the Right flank…

Seat Payne out Considering she hasn’t been effective for the Super Falcons as a Winger.
Babajide on the left
Oshoala as no.9
Esther Okoronkwo on the Right..

I will be so happy if Mama Onome go into Coaching… She has a lot to share with the Younger ones..

A lot of the Younger Super Falcons players really did talked about her experience and how happy they’re to train and play alongside her..!

But again she never did announced an official retirement from playing football, A player of her Class. You can’t just go off like that.
Perpetua Nkwocha, Stella Mbachu, Precious Dede, Cynthia Uwak, Desire Oparanozie all honorably announced their retirement…!

Absolute baller! 🇳🇬💚⚽
Rinsola is okay for now but not fast enough…

Her major Strength is her ability to deliver excellent crosses into the Box. That’s why we need Ajibade on the Right wing as she can get onto such balls if our No.9 miss track.

But why this Man Dey Play Ajibade for midfield??
We have Toni Payne and Onyi Echegini in the squad, what’s wrong?

The decision to play Payne on the Right wing is a disaster already as she has never performed well for Nigeria playing from the Wing… The Midfield has been her best position for Nigeria!

True: However, Deborah Abiodun offers more energy which is needed in our midfield. We rely on two DM's most times in our formation and in case of an injury, Deborah will step in. We all know Ayinde is injury prone
I will prefer to have Shukurat Moshood groomed in than Esther Onyenezide as Onyi Echegini is still young to stay on the big stage for a longer while…

Very poor Dr Congo team.

I wonder if they didn’t invite their TP Mazembe players especially those ones with manly physique and beards.
Two of their starting Strikers that like Banda and co are out… One on card suspension and other other one sick… Most of these players are foreign born player’s recently brought into the team..

There’s something underneath we don’t know about yet..

Sam Ahmadu had a interview with her long ago but they didn’t release it.. By the way she’s already working on her Spanish Passport so she can play for them which is the report from Spain.

Currently I'd say Nigeria's biggest threat is Zambia.
I will rather say South Africa who are more organized and Morocco who are very tactical with technical players are ahead of them in the pecking order..

Truthfully if you can get down Banda, Kundananji, Mupopo, Mukoma and Co then they’re very much beat able..

Thank Goodness we have very Physical players in Midfield( Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe, Abiodun) who thrive alot in this kind of physical games…!

Okafor was nominated alongside Florida State forward Jordynn Dudley, Texas senior midfielder Lexi Missimo, if you follow College Soccer you will know how good this players are.. I remember i and Basco once argued about Dudley that she’s supposed to be in the USWNT with the talent she’s showing right now. But I said she still can’t bench either of Sophia Smith, Trinity Rodman and Mallory Pugh(Swanson) yet..

Chioma Okafor is one of the MAC Hermann Trophy Semi Finalists, an Award Onyi Echegini (Florida State) won for her outstanding intercollegiate performances..

This alone should tell you that the girl is good, Esther Okoronkwo was also considered for the same award but didn’t get to this level but doing well for both Club and Country..

Okafor is a big Catch just as we got Onyi Echegini…! She’s a senior already and will definitely go pro soon..

This current NFF won't hire him. Maybe another NFF board. Also why pay USD if Madugu delivershuh? And Madugu must have very strong backers because Randy wanted him gone outrightly and the NFF stood their grounds.
So u’re insinuating that Madugu is a better Coach or Good enough for the team??

With the interview Randy put there, I must commend him for a job well done.
