N1million. Let's work it out: Customs N350K for 2003 vehicle (any vehicle older than 15yrs vehicle import policy -except buses- attracts additional N50K charges). Trucking & shipping average $1,100 @ N360 = N396,000 (could be more). N1m - (N350K + N396K) leaves N254,000 which comes to about $705. What vehicle is possible with $705 that won't need repairs or much repairs, and must be run&drive -no additional cost of non runner or forklift. See me in camera if you really need a good vehicle ![]() |

I recommend him as well. We met on NL about half a decade ago and he is one of the 4 people i met here i can provide irrevocable reference and surety. (until someone comes up with any allegation they can't defend themselves). |
Toyota craze is real. I remember when around 40 cars were vandalized at a bank's car-park in Marina some years back. Just 4nights ago, one Hilux was vandalized even with 2 private security guards were on duty. The guards didn't even notice until the company drivers resumed and saw it. Remedial action were done by insurance for both theft. |

radautoworks: EgunMogaji:Perhaps one in a million naija-trained, IG-always, FB-facing, AfricaMagic watching ladies have interest in vehicle maintenance than start & drive the car o; even how many men can do oil change or even know about periodic tyre rotation. The level of ignorance in naija is alarming, maybe due to availability of cheap labour hence nothing like DIY. This is Nigeria....... |
radautoworks:I actually have it too, but my fear is my loved ones that don't even know how to use them (perhaps I care too much ). |
EgunMogaji:I have mine too, in each vehicle (but one stolen from my wife's car already).
|
GAZZUZZ:Not my car sir ![]() |
EgunMogaji:Sir, that bring us to the question how many items do we ferry around in a vehicle? I once saw a msg by FRSC that vehicle owners should carry extra belt (coupled with their full list of items i personally find un-useful like fire extinguisher). An auto writer/blogger advised we carry regular sized spare tyre alongside the donut tyre which I countered. I might advise we carry an extra battery too . |
