Politics / Re: Biafran Jews Mark 50 Years Since Failed Bid For Independence - Times Of Israel by dembularrr: 4:55pm On May 29, 2017
perez100:
The other tribes will be like 'let God's will be done' but Yorubas will jump into this matter as if they are the only tribe that will die if Biafra come to stand.

A look at the other southwest States will tell u why they want tooth and nail to keep d igbos. 85% (and that's being modest) of trading activities in Lagos is carried out by the igbos. Igbos make up a very sizeable population of Lagos. When they travel for xmas, d so called overpopulated Lagos suddenly becomes empty and you can drive thru wt ease. The business activities of these traders contributes tremendously to the Lagos coffers. The major economic drivers of the state has igbos with a very strong presence, almost all clearing n forwarding n other port activities has d igbos numerously present in them. All these further contributes to the state coffers.

Igbos invest massively in areas outside their place of origin. Buy land, build houses, industries. This is just the few I can muster.

Now when the seaports of all d eastern regions start in full earnest- the ibaka seaport of akwaibom, the seaports of calabar. International airports of calabar, akwaibom, and soon umueri (cargo airport).

There wud be no need to congest Lagos airports. When the seaports in d eastern regions r fully functional, there wud be no need to anchor at Lagos ports which does not make any economic sense if we have goods coming from China or even other Asian countries. So these wud reduce the economic activities of Lagos and shift focus to the eastern spots...

So u c y dey wud fight tooth n nail to keep d igbos in their midst even tho they love to hate them..

I feel it's a good move
by AMCON to unburden some cumbersome
assets from its inventory

The only problem is that,
I feel the value of PAN has
been manipulated & reduced by
Dangote & crew to auction value to
make it a rosy deal for purchase. angry

How can a whole Assembly plant
with all its assets & 90,000 cars capacity
be worth Just about $40m?
And by the way, who carried out
the valuation??

It will take nothing less than $2bn
to build such a plant 2day. Ordinary
VP's residence cost N13bn to renovate
during GEJ's tenure ( shocked ).

Dangote & Elrufai, make una park well;
we sabi una antecedents..
We cannot be fooled. angry

Depreciation of those assets can be a significant factor for d price reduction.

Where was he when the America Will Know President was granting amnesty to looters of our commonwealth.

I'm just curious but I watched a movie were a guy broke up with his girlfriend after he found out she wasn't a virgin (cos initially she lied she was but later told him the truth). Not only in movies do these things happen, but also in reality. Why?

Men want virgins but they themselves aren't virgins. Going to mess up and shxt like that but when females do it. Oh no. She is a slut/LovePeddler etc. Gender inequality much? Not to be a "third wave feminist" or "neo-radical feminist" but this is how I feel. So much is expected of a lady but little is expected of a man. I mean, why?

The world is changing everyday. Stereotypes are being broken. If you expect women to be pure & chaste before marriage then why can't you? (referring to men)

P.S. if you can't be civil or polite. Get off this thread. Don't be a nuisance.

The company is a business it is not limited to Lagos or Nigeria oil.Just like you have the right to start such a business so does Lagos State , There is nothing stopping other states doing so whether alone or in combination /partnership with other entities individual corporate or governments and if they do they are free to compete with SHELL and others. Stup1d toyota have 24% market share in a country as big as nigeria yet they don't have atleast an assembly plant here.

People should completely boycott toyota and go for the ones that have plants in nigeria.

Enough of shipping our money abroad to buy nonsense toyota (one of the things that crumbled our economy to begin with) and reduced people's purchasing power.

The cost of doing business in this country is something else..

What are you talking about, if the man is medically unfit to carryout his duty, why should he still remain office. Its evidently clear that the man is not well at all.
