thelastPope: A hypocrite and a traitor all in one! You do not care where the president comes from but you have been making the country ungovernable since a minority president took over. Hypocrite! You do not care where the president comes from but you control 83% of the oil blocks? Who do you want to deceive with that lie? As long as you dominate us, you do not care where the president comes from. I get it!

When the oil blocks owners went around sourcing for a concensus northern candidate in 2010 and northern leaders from all the parties where holding meetings, you supported them and said GEj should honour the agreement! How was that a PDP affair when the membership of that committee cut across all parties? Again an idiotic and power hungry Aliyu Babangida is coming again to tell us GEJ signed a one term agreement and you are again supporting it and saying GEJ should honour it. Yet you do not care where the president comes from! Hypocrite.

If it is good governance you care about, why have you never muted Akpabio's name to be president? Or Oshiomole? Or donal Duke? Oh, I forgot, only Fashola is performing and only Fashola is qualified because he is from your tribe and Buhari because he is from your master tribe. Hypocrite!
Goon, u are just ranting. None of what u wrote is true. Prove me wrong by substantiating just one of ur numerous lies.
Av always warned u that bigotry kills the brain. U see ur life now grin

By the way, don't need aliyu to tell me anything. The retardeen publicly told us he is going for one term, what's wrong in asking him to do what he promised. huh

PoliticsRe: Buhari's Speech At Africa Diaspora Conference London by Demdem(m):
bjdon: Now as to you claim that he is a principled man. Sorry but I need to counter that.

1: Dose a principled man serve in Sani Abacha's govt while people are being killed and detained?

2: Dose a principled man keep quite when young youth coppers are cut to death by his own supporters?

3: Dose a principled man run to known crooks like Babangida on the eve of an election to get them to try and broker a pack with the ACN?

4: How come this principled man has never said ONE NEGATIVE world about the Abacha administration?

5: How come this principled man has never come out to clearly condem Boko Haram?

6: How come this principled man enjoined Muslims to only vote for Muslims?

I am sorry but Buhari is no saint and most certainly not a principled man.
[b]1) yes, so many principled men work with abacha govt that includes civil servants also. As long as u don't partake in any rot and making ur impact felt to the people, its in order. Buhari did that and ptf legacy still stands till date.

2) no, a principled man don't. Surely buhari is principled and that explains why he condemned such acts. He went further to challenge the govt to bring perpetrators to book and chastised the govt who haven't done anything about it despite being empowered.

3) don't distort fact. Buhari visited minna/Ibb but not for the reason of making a pact with ACN to work. What is ibbs business in ACN. He is in the killer party. Ur insinuation is just a figment of ur imagination. Because u TOT that was what happened doesn't mean it surely happened. Get real dude. Besides if ur epitome of principle(retardeen) who regards Ibb as his father can honour him, why not buhari who just decides to visit. Surely the man is principled.

4) that is the only thing I have against him. He probably knows something u and I don't. Besides this only issue of mine against him doesn't suggest to me that he is unprincipled.

5) u are wrong. A simple Google search will disprove this. Be even went further in suggesting to the govt ways to fight evil boko after explaining the various evil boko we have. His party explained that to all Nigerians.

6) he was misqouted and journalist took it out of context. There is no evidence to suggest that the general is a religious bigot.

I normally qoute my references with any long post but can't now because am mobile. If need be, will do it later.

Above all I agree that he is no saint however he is surely a principled man. A man of honour, worthy of emulation.

PoliticsRe: Buhari's Speech At Africa Diaspora Conference London by Demdem(m): 2:42pm On Mar 07, 2013
bjdon: Indeed I did read his speech and states in very clear terms that all the elections that he has contested 2003, 2007 and 2011 were not free and fair. If he knows for sure that he did not win the 2011 election why dose he keep going on about the issue in the SS/SE. Recently in the US a woman in Ohio confessed to voting multiple times for Obama, did that make Romeny come out and start making noise? My point here is that even if the 2011 election was not perfect, Buhari LOST THAT ELECTION so he should stop making reference to it.
And why should he stop making reference to it. The wise always learn from the past. What happened in SS/ se was a fact and should be made mentioned of as much as possible. Comparing a woman in US to series of irregularities here is not appropriate. Besides US always learn from their mistakes but here we don't and that explains why it should be repeated as much as possible.

If he lost clearly without all these delibrate attrocities, probably yes but a man that was robbed don't keep quiet. I believe he should continue because Nigerians are highly forgetful.

thelastPope: You are an idiota to say that our oil blocks are the spoils of war. We know that is what you think of us but the good thing is that there is a new generation that will not condone that nonsense anymore. You will be shocked. Thanks to OBJ, you do not control the military anymore. Now, the PIB will reverse the oil criminality!
Goon, those oil blocks belongs to all Nigerians. I don't like it that way but that is the truth. Until the retardeen starts the process of disintegration, its criminal for u to make it urs. It belongs to all. grin
PoliticsRe: Northerners Own 80% Of Oil Blocks - Senator Enang by Demdem(m): 2:21pm On Mar 07, 2013
thelastPope: You better grow up fro these childlike stuff and open your blind eyes. You people betrayed us southerners in 1967 and you are doing it again! You think these northerners are your friends? You want to always play second fiddle and humble slaves. Always aligning with the thieving and demonic northern oligarcy to sabotage us! It is your threacherous way! No northerner will rule us till 2027! Shebi they say they will make the country ungovernable for us because a minority is in power and as usual, your people are their tool to achieve that? Let us see how they will come and rule us in piece again! Fingers crossed!
That's the huge difference between the wise and unwise. Ur bigotry has eaten up ur thought process. To u, Aboki is ur problem. Until u realizes that the fools causing pain in this country trancends all tribes, SS inclusive, nothing reasonable can ever come from u.
Don't care where the next leader comes from. Be it, north, south, east if west as long as he/ she has what it takes to take us to the next level.
Mallam hater, get off my back. grin

By the way, those that promise to make this country ungovernable are inside retardeens killer party.
PoliticsRe: Northerners Own 80% Of Oil Blocks - Senator Enang by Demdem(m): 1:48pm On Mar 07, 2013
Napoleondegreat: I know my comment will be hidden as usual but let me still say this,

Did'nt the SS say that Ojukwu was fighting the war b/c he wanted to take over the oil deposit in their land? Hence they joined the north in killing over 2million Ojukwu brothers to make sure that the North instead of Ojukwu take over their oil. This is so b/c the present situation has been there since the end of the war and the ss enjoyed it since the oil is not in Ojukwu's hand. So why the complain now? He who sold a dog to buy monkey should know that he still has squatting thing in his house
Basically u are saying SS wasn't in support of Biafra right?
PoliticsRe: Northerners Own 80% Of Oil Blocks - Senator Enang by Demdem(m): 1:44pm On Mar 07, 2013
thelastPope: You are just getting dumber daily with your cheap shot cum political campaign! So there was PDP from Shagari to Abdusalami period when the oils blocks were shared? You never fail to post nonsense!
Goon, many of the owners are alive, which party have they alligned with? Even those that are dead, their families still align with the killer party.
Besides, nothihg in my post suggest what u stated about it.

Anyway, do u now believe that patience went to Germany for surgery grin
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Speech At Africa Diaspora Conference London by Demdem(m): 1:26pm On Mar 07, 2013
Joey82: Well, i've read buhari's speech and i've followed the comments down and i must confess the level of nepotism in Nigeria seem beyond cure.
how come some folks are only seeing where he talked down corruption and other national ills.
how come nobody is commending him for castigating SAP, he even mentioned the bully of the IMF on nigeria's economy. it takes courage to say those kinda things even in the uk.
From what i read, buhari focused more on IBB's regime as the turning points for nigeria's woes. he hardly talked about the present administration if not for the mention of the previous elections.
I wonder y the GEJ apologists are hell bent on lambasting buhari's person.
If GEJ was good enough, he'll be the voice representing africa. Sad enough we hardly hear him say anything worth quoting in future references.
Fair post.
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Speech At Africa Diaspora Conference London by Demdem(m): 1:24pm On Mar 07, 2013
bjdon: The truth? for real? Come on my fellow Nairalanders while a lot of what he said may indeed be true, I think we really need to address the case of the 2011 election. Dose any sane, neutral person really think Buhari won that election? For Gods sake, the entire south voted en mass for GEJ(Yes I know many regret that not,but that's not the point)add the middle belt and please tell me how Buhari could have won in 2011.

Buhari is not a bad man. He cares deeply for Nigeria and wants to see the country do well. However he has in my opnion a bit of a 'God-Complex' he simply can't see or accept any other view that is not in 100% agreement with his. It is this personality flaw that will prevent him every being President of this nation
What are u even talking about? Did u mention anything about Buhari winning any election, did he himself even made mention of such? Did u Infact read his speech? He made mention of electoral malpractices. It's left for u to point out from his speech where u think he wasn't being truthful.

Secondly, ur opinion about him is noted however I disagree. He isn't such a man. U are mistaking a principled man for those that stand for nothing. Buhari is no such. Deal with that.

lungtruth: @ demdem, i dont always like to contribute here due to some people xter, for your statement that if Jonathan attacked and killed, sambo take over, it is not possible, not sambo taking over will be the case, consider "war" because we know the attacker.
my friend go siddon. shishi no go happen. we all will mourn him and it ends there. Sambo takes over quickly to quell any immediate rebellion. SS leaders will be called into Abuja led by the old fool Clark, they will all be settled and compensated. Their decisions will be forwarded to Wadata plaza which will be adopted. Tompolo, Ateke, etc will have their contracts restored. Fools in govt still need it to run to continue with their theft. The retardeen chapter ends, Life continues.

By the way, the attacker would be evil Boko. The same boko the retardeen's party nurtured so they would have simply killed one of their own.
PoliticsRe: Northerners Own 80% Of Oil Blocks - Senator Enang by Demdem(m): 12:28pm On Mar 07, 2013
Its a PDP thing. The bulk of those mentinned are in PDP. The more reason why the killer party needs to be booted out. PDP is the cabal within itself fighting tooth and nail to undermine itself.
PoliticsRe: IGP, 3000 Policemen For Jonathan’s Visit To Borno, Yobe by Demdem(m): 12:00pm On Mar 07, 2013

PoliticsRe: Lagos Economy Rated Above Ghana, UK - Fashola by Demdem(m): 8:19am On Mar 06, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: Even if all the governors didn't support the tour when it was deliberated at Nigerians Governors Forum, but the fact that majority supported it in the forum should imply that the minority that opposed the idea during deliberation should fall in line. Isn't that the essence of an association such as NGF? If decisions taken after deliberation at the NGF cannot be abided by all parties what then is the essence of NGF?

Assuming we take Fashola's word that he opposed the idea during deliberation at NGF, why didn't he state make his opposition public then (mid last yr)? Why now? Why wait until the tour has gone half way before making his opposition public?

From all indications, the opposition to the tour by Southwest governors is an after thought. They'r afraid of the positive publicity the programme is generating nationwide
1) some decisions by the forum is expected to be followed by all but decisions like this kind of waste is non-binding especially as it regards individual states. It's not all decisions that are binding. NGF isn't autocratic.

2) timing is everything. If there was a bomb blast around that time, it will be unwise for him to be talking of such issues. Whether be said it then or now is immaterial, the bottom line is we know his position and this has been consistent since even during the govs parley.

3) ur opinion which is obviously wrong. No gov yet has come out to declare that fashola lied and such didn't happen in their meeting. So how do u know this? Were u there? The concept is obviously a waste and its not difficult to see reason with the oposition that they weren't in for such.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Economy Rated Above Ghana, UK - Fashola by Demdem(m): 7:24am On Mar 06, 2013
The governor, who also flayed the Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku's assertion that the ongoing national good governance tour was muted at the Governors' Forum, said it did not mean all the governors supported the initiative.

He said, "The question I asked then was of what purpose is the tour? Do the people of Nigeria need a tour to know that they are being well governed? What is the tour supposed to achieve? Are they resolving problems at project sites? Where are their projects? What is the value of tour when you can't implement a budget? I can go on tour of projects because my budget performed 89 per cent last year.

"I am not on a good governance tour. I am on a project inspection tour trying to solve problems at project sites."
