Thank you.[/quote]There is crozier Chester hospital and delaware county memorial hospital. Both hospitals are run by the crozier Chester group. They charge 1500 for doc/obgny and 6000 for hospital. This fee is both for natural and cs . Same price. You will source for pediatrician which should come to about 600 dollars But this depends on the no of days stay at the hospital. If you are having cs. You will pay for anaesthesia which cost at 1250. And finally you will run test/ blood works. They accept results from Nigeria but which ever is not there u will have to do. There labs are very affordable. Be prepared to pay for scans though which cost like 45 dollars. Then for your sake, baby sake and God's sake . Don't come in thru pHilly. Just enter jeje thru new York.

Yes that was what I did, but like I said I am long gone but not showing and I went with my doctor own but she demanded for govt hospital. So try go with govt hospital. I believe they don't want to carry after 28 weeks. I was looking like 4 or 5 months but was 8 months. So wishing u good luck dear

I just want to use dcmh and want the details of the accommodation she used as well as other billing details cos I have called them they said 7500 both for cs and varginal. But they didn't come up with anything on pediatrician anaesthesia. So am wondering what the full bill will be like

To God be the Glory. My mother went for visa interview today, she was granted and was told to come back on Tuesday for her passport.

Thanks to good people of this thread for their help and openess, I used most of Sayoberry and Olokings experience to tutor her.

Despite the fact that she carried almost all the documents in the whole house to the place, she was only asked a copy of my visa.
She went with my birth certificate, my naming ceremony pix, 1st, 5th and 10th year birthday anniversary pix, convocation, wedding pix, my dad death cert, her retirement docs, statement of acc, doctors correspondences, hotel reservation, my confirmed ticket, and a host of others.

The interview went like this
VO- what's your purpose of travelling
Mum- To take care of my grandchild
VO- where is your child
Mum- presently in Nigeria but travelling in april( under contact, I wrote my name and d hotel address with my naija fone no- guessed he checked am still around)
VO- what do you do for living
Mum- am a retiree
VO- where is your husband
Mum- late (filled her as a widow)
VO-sorry abt that
Mum- thanks dear
VO- can I have ur daughter copy of visa
Mum- handed it to her
VO- who is sponsoring your trip
Mum- daughter has booked accomodation but am paying for flight
VO- Congratulations, pick up your visa on tuesday at Isolo.
Mum- thanks

@Demi2000 and gratefulheart88, pls for arik, I read on the website that you have to bring your medical report to them at least 48hrs b4 your intended flight. Did you both do this or did you just go to the airport on the day of your trip and check in the normal way?

Go to the airport with the report but try and let it be from a govt hospital and it should be dated not more than 2 days before your intended travel date

Dear E-fam

I just arrived New york yesterday via JFK. I flew arik and I can't say what my eye see with arik o. I didn't know I couldn't fly at them late in pregnancy and found out a week to my flight, but thank God I wasn't showing. I still got a fit to fly from my doc stating I was 26 weeks and but I was 34 weeks. I got there and the lady there asked if I was pregnant. I told her yes, she them asked for my fit to fly I gave her only for her to tell me that she can't accept it cos I needed to have presented a one from a govt hospital. Sho wetin be dis now. I just gave it to her straight that where was it on their site that stated govt hospital. So pls make sure that it is govt hospital one you have for them o. Eventually she said she will show her manager. The guy saw it and requested to see me. When he saw me, he told her to accepted it, I guess be cos I was not really showing.round 1 over , we start round 2; 12 hrs delay arik has done it again. Anyways someone stowaway and died and that was when delay started o. We eventually flew and arrived jfk. Drama come start.

Round 3: See that stupid immigration guy asked me why I was coming to us ? I told him for vacation and to have a baby . He said who told me I have a right to have a baby in us ? I told him I wasnt aware I didn't have a right to have a baby on us. Then he said I better go back to my country. I told him that I had lost 2 pregnancy and I wanted better medical health. He asked if i told them at the embassy that i was going to have a baby. Told him i didnt need to cos i has travelled severally to the us and i did dropbox and by the way i wasnt pregnant when i did dropbox. He said that didn't matter that I was going back to my country . He then told me to stamp my fingers and took my pic. Then he took the passports and said I shld follow him that I am going back to my country. All the guy kniw say na u are going back.Omo that is how another delay start o.

I was over calm, cos I weighed it all. I had all the requirements, if worse happens , I was going to tell them I wanted to see a doc who would certify me fit to fly and I knew I was hypertensive so I was planning not to take my drugs. BP would have been way up then they will tell me how I would return back.
Anyway eventually a guy called me. But he looked nicer. And asked y I was there and I told him. He said that am I paying and I said yes. He asked how much I had, I told him. Then he said do I have doc bill and I said yes and showed him documents Then he said how many weeks was I? Told him 34. He said how long I am staying for . Said 3mths . Stamps passport and said I can go.

A beg pls be prepared .Jfk or no Jfk, There are racists out there and be prayerful. GOD HELP US ALL.AMEN

No I don't have quote from the hospital. But I have from the one in new jersey. I want to know about hers cos it's closer to where I know people. Thanks for explaining the process.

Good morning my beautiful people of God, please i need help ooo, Does anybody here have a sister whose mummy's sister in law's friend has had a good birthing experience in New Jersey, Spent the whole of last night calling random doctors and hospitals and its not funny at all. An average doctor is quoting 5k while an average hospital is quoting about same...this excludes all other fees. I'm thinking of paying all those Agents to help me look for, but that should not be heard with a wonderful e-family like this. I have paid for my flight but still don't have a hospital. please help with suggestions oo. Thank you in advance
