If you check admission requirement for schools I think a school that requires evaluation will always state it.

However from my end:
Ohio State University
University of Rochester
University of Delaware
Clark University
Southern Methodist University

Please don't be limited to these schools... Do your research.

Like many people have said here, I believe its always better to apply to more than 1 school (asides for Visa purpose). You diversify some risk away when you apply to more than 1 school.

I applied to 8 schools (A3, R4, W1). You've got to invest time to research on them. I only paid application fee for 2 of them, others only cost me time and data.

And yes, I also did the WES evaluation, but I ended up not using it.

I applied to Concordia university Wisconsin dat I used to applied@embassy, northeastern university Boston dat denial me admission while in 9ja bt later gve me admission wen I get to d state after whc thy received my evaluated transcript, Lamar university.
For evaluation, go to both skul u did ur ND/HND request for ur transcript whc thy wl send to Wes after Wes receive it thy wl mail ur skul to confirm authenticity of d transcript wen thy receive confirmation frm ur skul thy wl proceed wit d evaluation by sending copies of d evaluated transcript to skuls u apply to and if u need copy thy wl send to u also.

Am also graduate of polytechnic but I ve to evaluate both diploma bf I ws gven admission bck then in 2015 and I remba d vo dat interviewed me telling me dat my program is jst two and hw come am going for Msc, I have to show him my evaluated transcript frm Wes whc make him approved my visa. It’s better u evaluate ur ND/HND result to avoid unnecessary questioning or denial. Tanks

Sorry to hear about this. I was in same shoes early this year... When uni of Iowa rescinded my admission offer after sending admission letter. The reason was same as yours. Even your WES evaluation will not help. Some of these schools are research level institutions and evaluate degrees in-house.

Hopefully you applied to more than one school. It's always advisable, to guide against issues like this. It's also not advisable to take thier offer considering that your HND is generally seen to be equivalent to 4-year Bsc in the US and convincing the VO may be difficult.

Do not take that offer, I repeat, Do not take that offer. kick back and relax, evaluate your transcripts, Write GRE if you haven't, and reapply to other schools, and hustle for funding. accepting this their Greek gift means you'll have to pay out of state tuition, aside other unwarranted expenses , that implies financial recklessnes.
