Car Talk / Re: Best Oil Grade To Use For Nigerian Car? by demsi: 3:13pm On Jun 28, 2020
Please guys if you buy a car try and check the oil cover , it is clearly written the type of oil the car needs. If it is 5W 30 you look for any good brand of that 5w 30 and buy. You can see it in mobil, total, oando and the rest. Always insist on the specification for your car. Thanks

Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu Begs Asari Dokubo To Stop Exposing Him by demsi: 9:12pm On Jun 20, 2020
What is the difference between the two guys? They make noise for their pockets. Let Nnamdi Kanu go and fix Abia state, the worst state in south east. I remember when Asari used to make noise , making us to think he was fighting for us, When Good luck came Asari saw money and decided to build a school in Benin Republic. Shine your eyes.

Politics / Re: Southern States To Construct Lagos-Calabar Rail Line by demsi: 8:18pm On Jul 31, 2012
You guys are all correct. What we have to know is that the sea port will help open up nigeria to the outside world and the rail lines will ease internal transports within nigeria. When the sea ports start operating how do we now transport the goods to other parts of the country ? This is why we also need the rails to complement arivals in the seas. The guys at the top seem to be pretending not to know what to do. God bless Nigeria.

Computers / Re: Brontok by demsi: 12:18am On Jan 10, 2007
i have had series of experience with the powerful worm. it grows and multiplies every six hours in ur pc and virually destroys all your files, alters your screen resolution and many other things. if you leave your computer for so long, i think you may end up not using the hard disc again.
it is unfortunate many anti virus softwares can not remove this worm, but the almighty avast installer does that very well.
BRONTOK COMES IN MANY VARIETIES, LIKE BRONTOK -A , B, C, I, J AND F. and the out break of brontok introduces trojan worm into the system too.

Career / Re: HND Certificate: An Embarrassment? by demsi: 4:48am On Nov 29, 2006
I thank God i am an HND holder. I am working in an oil service company and i have a handfull of Bsc graduates there. The point is that some of them are as good as schools set holders, but generally they have not technical no how. My friends now listen to me, it is not a matter of having HND OR BSC, what really matters is what you have upstairs. These days companies take you for what you hve upstairs and not for the the magnitude of the certificate you are holding. Thanks.

Satellite TV Technology / Re: Official Thread of Free-To-Air Satellite TV (Part 1) by demsi: 7:36pm On Aug 23, 2006
BIGGJOE, i am veryhappy for the information you just gave me. i am going to buy the components. to fix on my tv. But do you know the problem i have ? my problem is how to type in the tp frequency and symbol rate into my decoder. From the website you gave me to search for the channels, i discovered that the symbol rate comes in two partitions e.g PLANETSKY has its symbol rate as 30000-3/4, now what do i type in to the decoder ? Should i include the (-3/4) or i should type in only 30000. Another one is that the TP FREQUENCY comes like this "12520v". should i include "V"?
If i go to alaba market, and i want to buy a ku band decoder, what type do i tell them i am looking for. Thank you very much. I am really grateful for your help. bye
