Your earliest admission date is not within 60 days yet. Most likely why your request was rejected. That requirement is clearly spelt out on the CGI portal. You cannot request another emergency unless you pay MRV fees again.
You have to stay vigilant on the portal and look to reschedule.

My emergency request was denied.

My academic start date is 25th of August, and the internship start date that comes with my admission is 16th of August.

Could there be a reason why it was denied? Also, can I request for Emergency again?

"Purpose of travel is to begin or resume a valid program of study in the United States within 60 days when no regular visa appointments are available. This option is limited only to students and exchange students who are within 60 days of their start date. "

I noticed the above when I wanted to request for emergency appointment. Does the 60 days actually apply?

I am to resume August 14th. Would i need to wait till 14th of this month before i can request for the emergency appointment?

Just fill a new ds160, update the school B's school code and also update your new ds160 number in your visa scheduling profile. Also for your sevis, do a transfer to school B on the same site you got your sevis coupon (fmjee).

I have a question guys.

I have gotten I-20 from School A, paid SEVIS fee, submitted ds-160, gotten an initial date for visa interview, but yet to request for Emergency.

I am about to receive I-20 from School B. Once I get the I-20, how can I use it instead for the visa interview?

In a situation where the Ds-160 has been submitted, what can be done?

Congrats! Quite simple since you haven't submitted your DS 160 form.

Go to www.fmjfee.com and follow the procedure to transfer your sevis fee to the new sevis number. I did this in 2019 in few hours without any issues.

Then, make the changes on DS160 and CGI portal.

I just called the cgi to inform them that i submitted a request to schedule a date since March 23rd and I have not gotten a response from them.

I was then told that I will need to have patience, and that once my request is approved, i will be able to select a date.

However, I am worried on why the approval is taking so long..

Please, what can i do about this?

That's odd usually you get the email within few days. Mine came in within 12hours of inputting the payment receipt number.
Login to your page and cross check the mail E-mail address you have on your profile, check the appointment section to see if it has been approve

Yes it could be because of Easter Easter break considering Friday was holiday.
If you qualify for Interview waiver, you should get the email by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yes it's right. You'll get an email once it approved to schedule your IW appointment. Usually you'll be the email with 48 hours
